Ok soooo ... this is way way overdue. I've been going to Mesa Physical Therapy (MPT) for what must be a couple decades by now - or sure seems like it! I hate writing reviews so it really has to be good (or bad!) for me to write one. Over the years I've gone here to treat carpal tunnel issues, disks with protrusions and bulges, tennis elbow, shoulder rehab after a torn rotator cuff, and several times for my knees. Each and every time I have received fabulous care and improved whichever condition du jour I had at the time. Most notably really was my back. I had a snowboard accident the left me with 2 disks with protrusions and one with a bulge. It was like a knife was stuck in my back! I tried muscle relaxers and a chiropractor before physical therapy and MPT hooked me up on a great regimen after which I have not had any issues at all and it's been gosh like over 20 years now. (Dang - 20 years already?!?) I've been a patient (client?) of Mark's now for probably the last 15 years or so s a no I wouldn't go to anyone else. He's got 35 years of experience with all ranges of clients from pro sports teams to frail grandmas and really knows what exercises will help my condition(s). The whole team is outstanding- Jamie is great running the whole show and all the assistants keep me on track with my exercises and scheduling. They are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling too. You won't go wrong under their care. read more

I been to Mesa Physical Therapy for post-op surgery. I have seen Mark and Rebecca for my pt. The PTs here are very experienced and very good. It differently one of the better places that my health insurance will cover. Mark is incredible at manual therapy and Rebeca has some great exercise programs. My surgeon is very happy with my recover thanks to his surgery skill and this PT location. I highly recommended them and recommended very few pt locations. read more

I am a repeat customer of quite a few years. I came here to strengthen the muscles around my knee many years ago. My job at the ballpark involves many hours of standing on concrete, doing steps & stooping. Mark would get me ready for the baseball season. He also treated me for a back injury during a car accident. I am working on recovering from a knee replacement surgery on my 2nd knee now. Submitting this on behalf of the care for my father... I went in with preconceptions initially thinking that the care for him would be looked at as an easy knock out scenario and almost dismissible... But honestly after the consultation visit with Philip... which involved a very thorough analysis in which true concern was given as well as a game plan for recovery... I was sold! The facility itself was fantastic as far as cleanliness and tools for success... which was further only complemented by the fantastic staff!l Jamie/Jamey (sp?) at reception was always so welcoming and helpful! Paula and Tia provided exceptional assistance to Philip! This was extremely helpful as they provided positive feedback and added to the motivational needs of my father. A specialist for my fathers fine hand motor skills was also brought on for a session or two which proved detrimental to my father's overall recovery! I have been going to mesa physical therapy for a few month and am absolutely impressed by them! The facility is easy accessible, so there is no stress to find parking. The checkin process is easy, too so there is no long wait at all! The staff is very welcoming and the therapists are great, knowledgeable and experienced with great attitudes and positivity. I was in an accident and broke my wrist and my hand is improving with the help of the therapists quickly! Having said that while icing or under heat I have witnessed many other patients doing their therapies ! Legs, shoulders, neck, backs etc ... I am impressed by everything I see! This place is very awesome you should try, especially Ms. Rebecca helped me go through the recovery fast and beyond my expectations. She knows why, what and where to cure my problems as excellent experience long on her career. She is very care of you and would like to work on the problems properly. My hand is much stronger and no more numb, tingling on palm hand. Before I come here, I thought I will have the surgery because of too much pain, tingling and numbness. I've gone to this clinic for a few different injuries and have always received excellent care. Jamie, the office manage, is professional and friendly, so I felt instantly welcome. The clinicians are also great: warm, knowledgeable, and attuned to their patients' needs. I've worked with several staff and would recommend every single one. I had a torn ACL during COVID, and they stayed open the entire time (with safety precaution). Coming in to heal my ACL and talk with the staff saved my sanity! I cannot say enough great things about not only Mark my PT, but Mesa Physical Therapy as a whole. I started going here post shoulder surgery at a point in which it almost seemed to me like an impossible recovery. From the start Mark and all the staff have been easy to get along with and have been very helpful and informative. It is clear they have the experience which made me much more comfortable from the get-go. On day one I knew I was in good hands and that they would take good care of me. Occasionally, I will have a pain or soreness from the week, and when I would arrive to my session, point that out to Mark. Without hesitation he always knows what is going on and what to do to help or things to avoid as not to agitate it more. Coming here doesn't seem like a chore, but more so something I look forward to during the week as I know the progress has come so far. As my sessions are coming to be less and less it is sad that I only have a few more sessions with them. I know they offer out of pocket deals in which I will look into as I would like to continue to have sessions because it is nice to have that support for a little longer than necessary. Mesa physical therapy has given me everything I needed to get me to my current point of recover (which has exceeded my expectations), and I would highly recommend you look into using them for any therapy needs you may have! read more

I got a list after my surgery of recommended PT places to go. I did some research on places close to my home and then went to Yelp to look at ratings. This was the winner but I didn't know how well I did picking this place until I started going. I was quickly given a plan on what I can do to help including exercises at home. They track my progress each week. I have been helped by both therapists Mark and Randy and I can see major progress after less than 3 months. They genuinely care about you and are careful to not push you too fast. The scheduling and billing process is painless. Currently they have a great method to keep you safe during the pandemic. I went to Mesa Physical Therapy after a rotator cuff surgery and my experience has been incredible so far. The first physical therapist who I worked with Jisel was amazing but she had to leave on maternity leave. My current physical therapist is Jai Wiske who is equally as amazing. He's customized my rehab plan in taking my job as a construction worker into consideration to get the best results. Jai is motivating and I feel he truly cares about his patients and their recovery. The front desk and manager Jaime is very friendly and accommodating. The aides Lexi and Paula whom have also worked with me are great and they've helped me along with my PT to get my arm motions and strength back. Physical therapy after a rotator cuff surgery can be tough but the team at Mesa Physical Therapy have made this experience for me enjoyable as they've gone the extra mile to make it worthwhile and fun. My arm's range of motion has been greatly improved to the point of near healing completion thanks to their methods and care. I had an auto accident in August. The hospital provided some physical therapy but they told me I would never be able to walk without a walker without a walker or a cane. Several years ago I had a torn rotator cuff. I had little or no use of my right arm. I went to Mesa physical therapy and received several months or therapy. Randy Gustafason and his staff provided the therapy I needed. I went back to his center for therapy. In less than 4 months they had me walking without any issues. No cane or walker. Randy started my PT after left shoulder surgery in April 2019. Currently finishing up with strength PT on my left shoulder. Randy is very knowledgeable, He has really helped me. There is another therapist in the office, Mark that I also feel is good. There is an assistant in there, Kim that works to keep me on schedule doing all my different exercises. Mesa Physical therapy has helped me and my wife. Therapists Mark and Philip are just great. Mark helped me recover from two rotor cuff surgeries and recently Philip helped strengthen leg muscles and balance issues from a back injury years ago. I'm 80 and strong with better balance. After having completed my second batch of physical therapy appointments here, I have decided to do an update since a few staff members had left. After Jenna and Negina left shortly after my initial review, Jackie stepped in as my hand therapist. She immediately got the ball rolling, reviewed my file and understood the nature of my injury. Personable and understanding, she worked with me and gave me home exercises until she felt that I was pretty much ready to move forward on my own without her assistance. Since that was the case, I basically completed my physical therapy in advance even though I had 2 more appointments left. I knocked off a star due to a couple issues I had with canceling and rescheduling. On one occasion, Jackie and I both agreed to forego a future appointment that I was already on the calendar for. Since that was the case, I approached Jamie at the front to reschedule that appointment. She then responded and said she would take care of it in which I took her word for it. When the following week approached, specifically on the day prior to the appointment that I assumed was canceled, I received an automated call at about 4:50PM notifying me that I had a scheduled appointment the following day and would be charged a fee if I canceled the day of. Annoyed of the fact, I called after receiving that message to clear it up, but their office was closed. The following day, I called their office and informed Jamie of the miscommunication on their part in which they had me scheduled to come in that day when I shouldn't have been. She then informed me that I would be charged a $25 fee for canceling on the day of even though again, this was not my fault and I was trying to clear this mishap up. It took a minute, but she eventually waived it because it was my "first time" to cancel. Mind you, I requested to cancel the week prior, but for some reason it never was and my request was forgotten about. I do clearly remember on that day Jamie was also watching her kids during the time I had requested to cancel as they were at her desk with her while she was also speaking with another staff therapist at the front. This may have been what distracted her from fully completing the request to cancel the appointment. I've also had times when they would contact me to request to reschedule my existing appointments because they didn't have a hand therapist available until later in the week. My advice for new and existing patients here would be to make sure to confirm your appointments verbally in person with the front desk staff after each session before leaving and/or have them write your appointment on a reminder card. Don't just take someone's word that they will do it and then leave because you just never know and might end up in a situation where your supposed "canceled" appointment is still showing on the calendar as an existing appointment. Other than that ordeal with appointments/scheduling, the staff here are all pretty friendly and laid back. There are moments when it can get busy, but for the most part it's not too bad. You start getting to know other patients the more often you go and learn about their stories as well as why they're receiving PT themselves. It's a place I would go back to if need be. I was really thankful and appreciative for the care I received from all the hand therapists that worked with me here to get me back in my groove again. read more
