We dined in with a reservation for devour week. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance and interior design was very nice and classy. However, I think the value for the food was not that great. My husband ordered the filet mignon and the steak was a little too charred which affected the taste. What a great place for a quiet lunch with stellar service. Devin was our server, and he was incredibly attentive and personable. If you are looking for a place to take a client or have a lunch meeting Mesh would be a great location. I would love to see more vegetarian options with protein on the menu in the future -- the Pad Thai was not quite what I was hoping for. Tried Mesh for our 27th anniversary dinner. Service was excellent, the restaurant has several areas that are all uniquely decorated and separated so you can have a large group or a quiet dining experience. The food was very good. I had a filet and my wife had salmon. Both were prepared well and the sides were delicious, broccolini was a little undercooked. We had a bread basket that my wife really enjoyed. I went with friends for Indy Devour 2024 (winter). We were able to make a reservation easily and were seated promptly when most of us arrived. I tried the Strolling Studebakers cocktail. It was okay. Next time I'll probably stick to wine. For the starter I went with the Hunter's Stew. I liked it. The crostini was excellent with the soup. For the entree I tried the salmon. It was a bit smaller than expected, but the flavor was very very good. Another friend got to short rib which was amazing. The chicken was also good according to another friend, but I didn't get a chance to try it. For dessert I got the crème brûlée. It was good. As good as any other crème brûlée that I've had. (I've never had a bad one before.) We were seated upstairs where it was quiet. Nice lighting. Good service. Our waitress and other staff were attentive. We had a lovely time overall! Mesh is always a solid choice for a restaurant--you truly can't go wrong. Their menu offers something for everyone, and the prices are fair for the quality. While my meal was slightly on the salty side this time, it didn't take away from the overall experience. I'm a fan of Caesar salads, but I felt this one had a bit too much going on for my taste. Our server was amazing and attentive. The ambiance was quiet as it was a Monday evening. That said, the Cunningham Restaurant Group remains one of my go-tos for consistently fresh ingredients and thoughtful execution. AMAZING food here. We ordered the bread basked and holy cow every piece was so delicious and I loved the spicy dipping sauce. I've heard about Mesh forever but had never been. I'm so glad we finally made it a priority to go because it did not disappoint. Atmosphere, food and drinks were all absolutely delicious. I'm a big fan of bread so loved the bread assortment. I ordered the Amish chicken and it was delicious. I hate blue cheese but the waiter convinced me to try it as is and it was so good. I went to Mesh recently for brunch with a large group and it was overall a good experience. I ordered the maple French toast which was pretty good, but I do wish I asked for a side of maple syrup because they didn't come with syrup on the side. There was another big party going on so our service was noticeably slow but we were having a good time so we didn't really mind. Pay street parking on both sides up and down Mass Ave. 1.75 for an hour and we lucked out on a spot that had 2 hours on the meter. The brunch items were simple but so tasty. I loved everything. We have enjoyed this restaurant for years. The interior is intimate and yet vibrant. The bar area is our favorite seating for the open space and sidewalk views. The bartenders have always been attentive and friendly. Today our group tried the biscuit appetizer (3 large biscuits, 3 strips of candied bacon, a cup of gravy and homemade preserves), the biscuit and gravy meal with eggs on top (again 3 full biscuits), and the steak burrito. I came here with a large party and was pleasantly surprised by Mesh, the food was all very high quality and delicious! I had the meat cheese platter, Caesar salad, and short rib. Everything was very tasty but the short rib was perfectly cooked, tender, and a delight. The ambience has an upscale essence to it. The menu seemed somewhat disjointed as in they mixed higher end options with burger fries / sandwiches, however, I am sure all the options would be well executed. The service was friendly and splitting checks across the group was seamless. I would describe this ambience as a step down from fine dining and a step up from casual dining (think business meal, a nice date, celebratory dinner- but nothing too crazy), a niche that probably sits well within Indy. I spent my last dinner in Indy at Mesh Restaurant. I was on the hunt for delicious sea bass and Yelp helped me find this restaurant to try. My mother and I came in for an early dinner. The interior of this restaurant is truly beautiful. It's two stories and still quite intimate. We were greeted with a genuine welcome by the hostess, and felt welcomed through our entire time here. Interested in sampling the menu, my guest and I ordered the bread appetizer and lamb meatballs. Both were absolutely delicious. For dinner, my guest had a ribeye and I had my seabass. To share, we ordered the potato dauphionse. Anything potato based we did not enjoy. That included the dauphionse as well as the small diced potatoes in my meal. I thought the sea bass was fine, but not the best that I had. Regardless, we still enjoyed our meal, and I'm confident that this is a place where we would enjoy dinner over and over once you realize which types of things you like from this restaurant. The French preparation of some of the ingredients definitely seemed to not be my preference - the potatoes being the most obvious example of this. Overall, I think this is a wonderful restaurant to bring someone to for a fancy date, to celebrate, or to impress. Will try again if I'm back in town! read more

Mesh is an American fine dining establishment with a sleek and calming atmosphere. Rather basic (though high quality) American menu with items such as salmon, steak, chicken, and salads. Appreciated the "random menu item" pad thai - cooked with light-spice perfection! The Kung Pao calamari is definitely a menu highlight - amazing sauce with Asian slaw to mix in. The salmon had an amazing zesty BBQ on top but I wouldn't have mixed it with the light couscous flavors if it was me. I really loved their creative drink menu - not the usual ingredients you see (green chili vodka and banana w/ lime!? Hello Royale with Cheese!). We had a really nice dinner here. My husband and family came to celebrate my Masters graduation. We were rolling with the punches and didn't have a reservation, so we were really grateful when Mesh was able to take us in. We were a little tight at the table we were at, but again it was no problem since we hadn't called ahead. We got an assortment of entrees that we all really enjoyed. The waitress helping us was such a sweetheart too, maybe the highlight of the whole meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very much not-casual, as it's very intimately lit. It's definitely for special occasions, or if you're really boujee. The footprint of the locale is pretty big, spanning several stories. And the location is great too. I was a little disappointed overall with our experience, hence the three stars. We made a reservation on open table as I was thinking on a Friday night they would be packed. Showed up at 6:15 and did not need a reservation at all. Maybe because of the 4th of July weekend people were already at cookouts. I drink a lot of water and always had to ask for more water rather than it being filled up. Even had a busboy walk by me twice with the water pitcher but never stopped to fill mine up. The first cocktail I got was pretty bad. My fiancé is usually up for drinking anything and didn't want to take a third sip of this one. It tasted like drinking orange juice right after brushing your teeth. It was odd. The next cocktail was better but overall I wasn't impressed with their cocktail options. We got the calamari and short rib dumplings as an app. For the calamari the sauce was placed underneath it. Wish they would have drizzled some on top as well. I really liked the dumplings and the sauce they were drenched in. It was maybe a bit much but as I loved the sauce I was fine with it. Actually dipped my calamari in that sauce as I preferred it. My fiancé got the Amish chicken which was recommended by the server and very delicious. I usually order scallops on the menu if they have them and it was a huge bonus when I said with gnocchi. I LOVE gnocchi so this was a sure go to for me. The scallops were pretty rough- I won't be ordering them again. We were quite disappointed to hear our server give another couple a complimentary dessert for their anniversary, but we did not get that same gesture. My friend and I went to Mesh before a Sunday matinee. Unless you let them know you have an event they don't seem to rush you and work at a more leisurely pace. AThis is great for brunch and catching up but once we told them we had somewhere to be they did make sure we got everything we needed in time! I got the burrito and it was delicious and perfectly sized, not a huge dish but not small either. Their coffee was great.
