The food is Incredible every time. It's a dinner vibe so lighting is mild. The service is great as well. Pricey but worth it.

We stopped by Provisions on a whim for cocktails and small bites and had such a great experience. Katie provided excellent service all night and even made me a custom cocktail when I couldn't decide. It was sweet, fruity, and exactly what I wanted. The crab cake and baked Brie were both delicious. It wasn't very busy this evening, which made it feel more intimate and relaxing than when it's packed. The calm atmosphere really added to the overall experience

I had a great time here. Located on the second floor of the building (elevator access available). The ambiance is very nice and really feels classy. We ordered the tuna tartar for an appetizer and it was outstanding! I also got a cocktail which I can't remember the name it was camp something but it was delicious! For the mains we orders the short rib and pork chip with a side of asparagus. The aide was great. The pork chip was awesome. I enjoyed the short ribs but it didn't have a ton of flavor and I was expecting a bit more sauce maybe or seasoning but it was still really good! The plates looked great and the service was top notch. We did the the cheesecake for dessert, it wasn't a New York style more of flan type consistency --wasn't bad but I'd probably do something f else in the future. But great place for a fancy date night!

We went here on a whim for the Veterans Day discount that the Cunningham Restaurant Group offered. First thing I'd like to mention was the service, it was impeccable. Our waitress helped with cocktail recommendations based on our likes and dislikes, and even suggested pairings with each dish. All of the staff were attentive with refills and keeping your table clean. Secondly, the food was good, but could have been better. We tried the beet mousse, complimentary from the chef, which was delectable. Next we ordered a mushroom puff pastry appetizer which melted in your mouth! I could've eaten so many of those. For my entree I got the Chilean sea bass. I wasn't crazy about it and I've had better, but I wasn't expecting much not being in a coastal state. My husband ordered the lamb and wasn't necessarily impressed either. The dessert was meh at best but I am biased because I don't like chocolate tarts. My husband seemed to like it but wasn't very impressed. Overall we would go back for a fun date night and would love to try the chefs tasting menu! The service and ambiance was perfect for a cozy, yet fancy, night out.

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. Beautifully appointed decor to outrageously good service. A special shout out to Katie our bartender both nights we came in for just being perfect. First night we snacked on lobster toast and mushroom truffle. The mushroom dish was delicious, and it's a hearty amount of lobster. The second night we both had filet mine with mushrooms, both cooked to perfection. The show stopper is the creamed spinach, just amazing.

Tried here while staying at the Ironworks. Food was really good. A little more on the expensive side but definitely worth the money. I have kept coming back for the Jefferson Old Fashions.

This was our first time visiting Provision. We went on a Friday night at 5:30 to celebrate my husband's birthday! Our waitress was friendly and gave us a "tour" of the menu. We ultimately ordered a couple of appetizers, salad, entrees, and sides. Everything for the most part was delicious except the entrees which is why my rating is 3 stars. Although the meat of our entrees were cooked well, the sides/veggies they were sitting on were overly salty. Salty to a point that we were both put off and couldn't enjoy our meal anymore because it was so overpowering. They did end up giving us new veggies but at that point it got to be busy (it's Friday!) so service started to get slower and we were about ready to leave (we'd been there almost 2 hours). I'd love to try it again, but with the prices and the saltiness of the entrees, it'll be a while. Share (appetizer) Wagyu dumpling - sweet and savory bite! I wouldn't say it was spicy but it was delicious. Charred shrimp - this was my favorite! I loved the curry emulsion and it paired well with the shrimp, avocado, and kimchi apple. The cocktail sauce wasn't necessary for me. Graze (Salad?) We ordered the pear salad. It was sweet and delicious! The sweetness took away the bitterness of the arugula. Entree Chicken - protein cooked well. Veggies too salty that it ruined the dish. Lamb rack - same as above! For the sides, we got the potato-bacon terrine & asparagus which we ended up taking home and eating. They were good.

We had a wonderful dinner here the other night. Service was incredible, atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is outstanding. I would definitely recommend coming in the winter time as the holiday decorations are beautiful as well.

So good! The service was excellent here. Got the fireside drink and it was made well. For lunch we got salmon, chicken, and the romaine salad to start. To get our palates started we had the chefs creation which was goat cheese, tomato, and pistachio concoction. It was a pleasant surprise! The chicken was soo good! The salmon was great but i didn't like the yogurt sauce on top, it got warm and got that spoiled taste. Not their fault at all as i feel that happens with yogurt based sauces regardless that's why i do not choose them. My salad was delicious! Loved the long thin crouton and the anchovies were just enough. Ended with their version of an espresso martini and it was great! Will be back to sit outside for sure!

We came here for our valentines dinner the weekend before valentines due to other plans. They knew we were celebrating valentines early and brought us champagne to toast. The service was beyond amazing. The food was amazing also. The server did such a good job explaining the menu and everything as it was presented to us. I got the snapper and oh my goodness this dish was amazing. I will be dreaming about it until we come back. The inside was beautiful and such a vibe.

Absolutely loved this place! Every dish was amazing, and our server was super attentive and knowledgeable. The food was tasty a must visit!

I highly recommend Provision for a celebratory occasion, date night, or simply a fancy night on the town. The dining experience is elevated while staying approachable with an array of dishes, a welcoming environment, and for the more adventurous folks - a rotating chef's tasting menu. One thing I appreciate is their menu is well-labeled with common allergens, which makes me happy for anyone that may have a limited diet! I was pregnant at the time of my visit, and my waitress was super helpful in helping me avoid any uncooked or rare meat which I wanted to avoid. And the cherry on top - a complimentary dessert helped add to our memorable anniversary dinner!

We came here for my birthday yesterday for the first time because I wanted to try a tasting menu. The interior of the restaurant is very cool. You have to walk up some wrought iron stairs to get there, but there is an elevator at the main part of the Ironworks Hotel. The ambiance in the restaurant was cool, but not too pretensious. There was a large TV playing a baseball game near the bar but the decor is industrial and sleek. I had the 5 course tasting menu and my husband had the ribeye steak. He has asked (and was charged for the strip steak), but didn't want to complain. Either way it was a good steak. My favorite part of the tasting menu were courses 1, 2, and 5. The pork rib was my least favorite because the mustard BBQ sauce was overpowering. I love mustard but it was just too much. I'm glad course 4 included A5 Wagyu for me to try. It was just really rich, so it wasn't up with the other courses. I could eat the shrimp ravioli course and the carrot gnudi course many more times. So delicious! Service was amazing and they gave me a signed card for my birthday and free dessert. It was a great special occasion dinner spot, but also saw kids in shorts and t-shirts, so it's a good mix.

    Is there outdoor seating available?

Yes, they have an outdoor deck. The restaurant is on the second floor and they have a beautiful outdoor deck.

    No tie required.

What about taking 5 and 7 year olds on Mother's Day?

Great question! I would not take my younger children. The atmosphere appears to be catering to the adult or professional who's looking for a great night out on the town. Now if your husband is treating you, then go for it, you'll love it.

The main floor dining like a lunch vibe, but it turned out to be a cozy choice. For appetizers, we started with the cornbread after our focaccia was unfortunately not the best. Seemed to be over-proofed. The cornbread was absolutely phenomenal and a must-have! A special shoutout to our waitress, Arya, who noticed our disappointment with the focaccia and generously brought us the cornbread on the house. That kind of service is truly memorable! I also had the beets and peaches salad, which was refreshing but a tad overdressed. Still, I couldn't resist finishing the entire dish. For my main course, I ordered the lasagna, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't overloaded with cheese and instead complemented by mushrooms and pesto, and surprisingly light on the stomach. My husband chose the filet and rated it an 8/10, saying he thoroughly enjoyed it. We were so full by the end that we skipped dessert. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. The only downside was the atmosphere; coming from Chicago, we expected a more bustling vibe on a Thursday night. It seems Indianapolis is a bit quieter during the week. Overall, we had a delightful dining experience, and hats off to Arya for her exceptional service!

The seating? Intimate. The lighting? Soft. The whole space feels like a quiet luxury moment tucked right into the city. Now let's talk about what REALLY matters, the food. The shrimp & grits??? Listen... this wasn't just a dish, this was an EXPERIENCE. The grits were creamy, smooth, and perfectly rich, but that sauce layered on top?? Whew. Flavor on flavor on flavor. You've got that deep, savory, slightly smoky profile with juicy shrimp, sausage, and those pickled onions cutting through everything with the perfect tang. Every bite felt intentional. Like somebody knew what they were doing in that kitchen. And can we talk about how beautiful it was plated?? Because yes, I absolutely appreciated the aesthetics before I even picked up my fork. If you're looking for a brunch spot that feels a little more elevated, a little more intentional, and delivers on both flavor and experience. This is it. 10/10. I'll absolutely be back!!!
