The Experience is much more similar to a 5 hour plane ride on a budget airline than visiting the spa. For a lot of people, paying $60 to have a labcorp rep come to your house and take blood is worth it. For the rest of us, this is the life hack: -take a something to distract you like a book, iPad, or headphones. Also a jacket (plane ride) -Expect delays. Remember this is like a budget airline. -wait time is based off of how many people are ahead of you in line. Most people check in and get frustrated when they're told there's a 4 hour wait, so they leave. This means those who stay are seen in 1 hour, since 6 out of 8 people left. So just be patient. Plane will land eventually. -it used to be advised to come when they open. But now, so many people come when they open that if you come when they open you will have to wait 2 hours. If you come in around 8:30 or 9 am, you have a one hour wait time. -best course of action is to make an appointment ahead of time. You can also check other labcorp locations to find a time that works for you. Second best is to check-in online before you arrive. But don't push it by signing in and showing up hours later bc if they call you are you are not there, they will skip you and you lose your turn. (Like missing your flight)

There wasn't any transparency that eg a nurse call to get a sick note would lead to a $225 charge. But what made me most upset is that for every physical, they've been billing me $180 just to go over the blood test when it's done. I've never had this NOT included as part of my free physical anywhere else, unless I'll expect a bill from previous providers similarly years after the fact. And when I tried getting some clarity about this with the billing department, I kept getting cut off and it seemed clear she was trying to rush me off the phone. Very disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend a place that doesn't take care of its patients, show a little compassion for elderly that are trying to check in on the kiosk. This place is horrendous. I would suggest going to the Quest in Arcadia which has much more workers, bigger facility and you get in and out of there according to your time of appointment. The nursing staff was excellent, and my surgeon Dr. Shah was super cool and did a phenomenal job. From Friday to Monday, they did everything possible to keep me comfortable. TBH I'm shocked this place only has 3 stars... it's a great hospital with an even better staff. During my delivery, Dr. Edward Merchant allowed my due date to lapse significantly. On the day of delivery, I was ignored for hours following the departure of the head nurse. Despite my deteriorating condition, Dr. Merchant refused to intervene and went to sleep in the physician's rest area. A code was eventually called when my blood pressure dropped dangerously low. My previous physician, who was on call, had to intervene to perform a crash emergency C-section. Furthermore, Dr. Merchant falsified my medical records by documenting the event as a "normal uneventful delivery." It was an emergency crash C-section as confirmed by the nurses to me the following day. In a subsequent emergency room visit for a severe allergic reaction, I was dismissed by the triage nurse, Maryann Magdaleno, RN, and sent back to a filthy, crowded waiting room for hours. I eventually went home and was called back at 3:00 AM, at which point my blood pressure was 60/0. While my chart indicates I was seen by a Dr. Stinnett, I never saw a physician during that visit. Despite reporting these incidents to the appropriate oversight agencies and the BRN, I have not received a satisfactory resolution. The hospital has continued to stonewall requests for information regarding staffing schedules and this particular nurse on call that night. I am formally expressing my concerns regarding the unethical and unprofessional conduct I recently experienced from Huntington Hospital medical staff. This behavior compromised my safety and fell well below the expected medical standards for their scope of practice. It is essential that the personnel involved are held accountable for these actions to ensure that future patients do not encounter the same lack of care and professionalism. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to address this matter. These experiences were devastating, and I cannot recommend Huntington Hospital to anyone seeking safe or professional medical care.

Last week, my mom had been dealing with a lingering cough for over a week. Waiting 4+ hours at Adventist's ER wasn't an option, so we looked up local urgent cares and came across Mederi. Every single person at this facility was incredibly kind and attentive to my mom. Even though they were busy that day, they still made us feel seen and cared for. From the receptionist who checked us in, to the office manager Serj, who made sure we and the other patients had help with any questions or the check-in process, to the medical assistant who helped get my mom situated for her visit, and finally to the PA, Emily, who was kind and thorough with her diagnosis and recommendations. The service we received here was by far the best we've experienced at any healthcare office. I wish I remembered everyone's names because they ALL deserve recognition!!!
