If you're looking for an amazing gluten free meal and are going to Barcelona then hear me out. Put this place on your list of must eat restaurants! You won't regret it. The restaurant definitely gets busy. I'm not sure if they accept reservations but we were lucky to snag the last table. I'm sure that there are customers who eat there that aren't gluten free because the food was so good. My husband is not gluten free and confirmed this! Anyways, let's get to the good part: food. I had the lasagna and it was amazing! I haven't had lasagna in over ten years, before I went gluten free. It tasted exactly the way I remembered it. It came out in a personal dish, bubbling with melted cheese. And guess what, I ate every single bit. I would have soaked up all the sauce too but they were out of bread. Believe me, you have to stop in and give them a try.

Helena pizza with vegan cheese. Very delicious. I don't usually eat onions but the caramelized onions really enhanced the sauce

I took a pizza, hummus, and a slice of apple cake. It was all very delicious and the service was delightful when I picked up.

This was my favorite place in Barcelona and one of the best GF pizzas I have ever had (we actually ate here twice). It's another restaurant that is 100% GF but trust me, you won't know it. They have so many pizza options (not to mention the wall of GF beer!). The first time we ate here I ordered the Helena pizza and my husband got the Roc. He said his tasted like a normal pizza and was super surprised at how good it was. The Helena is a must try item in my opinion. The carmelized onions and the sweet potatoes sound like such a weird combination but the sweetness of the onion really balances the earthiness of the sweet potato. The second time we came I got the eggplant parmigiana, which was very good and filling. My husband got the carbonara trufada, which was also good but very rich. We both agreed that the pizza is definitely the way to go, although no complaints on the food. They also have the biggest GF beer list that I have ever seen. We tried two each on both visits as they had some we had never seen before. It's so nice to when you can go somewhere and feel like a normal person because you can eat (and drink) anything on the menu. The service was also excellent and the interior was stylish and comfortable. It was a big warm as they don't have A/C but it's worth it for that delicious pizza.

Barbecue pizza (top) and Madame pizza (bottom)

Amazing thin crust gluten free with options of lactose free or vegan cheese. The service was very friendly and understood our english/terrible spanish. The place was definitely worth the stop.

Anyone with Celiac please go to this restaurant! My husband and I went today and had a wonderful time. I recently moved to Spain and have been looking for a go to pizza place. This will be it! They have the most gluten free beers I've ever seen in one place. I had an IPA from Belgium. Our pizza was delicious and the staff was very kind. The atmosphere is quiet but good for groups. All in all will be returning.

Messie - Tomate, mozzarella, carne, queso de cabra y champiñones

For Gluten free pizza in Barcelona That bowl of salad picture is after dishing out 2 plates. The Gorgonzola was a tube-dispensed dressing that was just right. The mesclun was a very well picked out bunch of beautiful healthy leaves that could each stand well on their own. The gluten free pizzas - also a Hawaii in the pic Something was just homey about the not-oily sprinkling of finely ground meat on the Messie. The sauce and cheese combo were on point and the pizza stayed intact (no slipping-off cheese). Rarely can you focus on how good every bite of the pizza is and you don't even think - this is gluten free. The alcohol free wine was just to try for kicks. I finished it, needed some slight acid to balance the cheese meal.

This should be on any gluten free travelers stop. Everything is gluten free, including all of the beers they offer!! They even have it on their menu that there is no worry for cross contamination. Another bonus they have menus in English!! The dining area is quite big and they can accommodate larger groups by moving tables around. Our waitress was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us. We all wanted to try beer but weren't sure what we wanted so she asked us for a style and then brought over her choice of beer. We were all impressed with her choices. And let's not forget about the amazing food. There are so many choices for pizza.. ranging from BBQ to a 3 cheese style there truly is something for everyone. We also tried two pasta dishes and just like everything else we were very impressed. This was one of the best dining experiences we had in Barcelona. They also have a regular restaurant that offers options with gluten just down the street.

    Delicious pizza.

This small and quaint restaurant serves the best gluten free pizza I have tasted. Their salads and juices are also very good. They offer desserts as well. Este restaurante pequeno y pintoresco sirve una de las mejores pizza sin gluten que he comido. Sus ensaladas y jugos tambien son muy buenos. Tambien ofrecen postres.

I called in Messie Sin Gluten while looking for something to eat in Barcelona on my second night, or first full day in the city. Having got food poisoning the night before at La "Look there's a rat" Botiga, I wanted something safe which I knew was gluten free, so based on great reviews I came here. This Is more of a takeaway place, it does do delivery however the seating inside isn't the nicest, it is basically takeaway service and seating, the women serving me was informal she was even wearing a tracksuit, which looked like she was going out rather than working. The gluten free selection wasn't great, it mainly included just pizza, there appeared to be no sides to go with it, which was a shame, they also had pasta. In the end, I opted for a BBQ Pizza. The pizza was okay, it was decent quality and probably well priced at 10 euros. I also ordered a Chocolate Cake for my dessert, I found it to be hard and it didn't taste very nice at all. There was a good selection of cakes including the Lemon Cake my friend got, which was presented nice with sauce and whipped cream, I did try that one and it was very nice and much better than the one I ordered. I also ordered a natural juice, it was awful and it looked and tasted like it was a number 2 in my cup, not just the menus number 2. I was sat right by a massive open window with the shutters up, this wasn't the best place to sit as it didn't have very nice views either onto a back street on Barcelona. Overall, this is a safe place to eat if you're coeliac in Barcelona with some decent food, but due to issues with certain food and beverage items, the overall feel and atmosphere of the restaurant and service, I sadly feel this place has only done enough to earn two stars.

    Gluten free pizza yum!
