My facial apparently included lots of massage as well. I got my hands and arms massaged, as well as my neck, back, and scalp. I've never had a facial that was quite so relaxing and simply enjoyable. We chatted, and she was very friendly and kind, but she also allowed me to just zone out. I'm excited to go back frequently for haircuts, as well as whatever else fits into the budget.

I'm a sucker for being a good massage, it felt good. It just wasn't the deep tissue I had hoped for. As a matter of fact, I find myself sore, unrelaxed and in pain in som areas this morning. I see Lizzie for all of my hair needs and she's awesome. She always listens to what I want. She first consults with you about what you're looking to have done, and she touches your hair and checks it out before taking you to get shampoo'd. There have been times when I came in wanting to try a certain style and she will explain what I will need to do to maintain it, and after talking about it I decide I don't want to hassle with it. She won't just give you a cut without going through styling and maintenance first like a lot of stylists would. I appreciate her honesty, and have always been very happy with what she does. Her prices are unbelievably low for her talent level. In fact, with her price being so affordable, I would get my hair cut every 10 weeks or so. I have now moved to Arizona and haven't found anyone I like nearly as much, so I'm flying back to Illinois to have her cut my hair! I definitely recommend Lizzie at Special Effects.

The party was originally supposed to be outdoors but due to weather we moved it inside at the last minute. Picture 45 seven year olds running around, screaming and dancing for two hours, these were the conditions under which Beth had to work. She handled it perfectly, organized the kids so there was no line jumping or fighting and was totally under control under fairly wild circumstances.
