Nail tech was very rough taking old ANC off and sanding nails to point that I had to pull away and tell him it hurt and burned. I arrived mid-morning for a regular manicure and pedicure. The salon itself is very clean and all the tools were new. I was seated right away; however, like other reviewers have noted, this is a small salon so appointments seem like a good idea for weekends. The technician was friendly and the pedicure was fine. Note -- this was my first time here, and I would have gotten a more expensive pedicure if someone had explained the choices. The manicure was okay. It's pretty, but four nails were ragged and I had to re-file them myself. I thought the prices were reasonable for the area. They also do ANC if you're looking for that. I deducted one star for the ragged nails and another for being rushed. The entire time, with both services, I felt like they were on fast/forward. The salon wasn't that crowded, so I'm not sure why. But it wasn't relaxing. I think I'll head to a salon in Saratoga next time instead of returning here. read more

Wonderful service! Yes, as another reviewer mentioned there can be a bit of a wait for your appointment, but it was so worth it. (and they have sudoku and magazines!) They also accommodated my mother for an unscheduled pedicure, hence the wait. After going to Red Lotus and getting the worst treatment I've ever received at a nail salon in my life, we left and came to Nail Studio and were finally able to relax and get a beautiful mani/pedi. They cleaned and soaked and polished our nails properly, truly excellent service and they look great. Slightly less color options than I'm used to but still 100s to choose from, so no complaints here. A couple days later after one of my gel nails chipped I called and they were able to see me within 15 minutes and not only fixed the chipped nail but also put another clear coat on all of them and ensured to cover the tips so they won't chip again at no charge! She is very patient to work with whatever colors, styles, finishes, and designs you want no matter how intricate, very caring and considerate to your comfort level, (asking if you're okay, if you need anything), and charming with an amazing sense of humor so it was very easy to laugh and joke with her to pass the time! I recently had a mani pedi ....$38 plus tip which is more expensive than surrounding area nail salons. The attention to the shaping of the nails was not great, many are uneven in length and shape. The polish had been diluted with remover and when applied (2 coats) appeared clear not the pale shade of pale peach chosen. The tech should have seen this and corrected by choosing a different color to use. The bottle appeared normal . I noticed the lack of color when entering daylight. read more

Well I've been wanting to get my nails done for a while now and I let them grow for like a month because i didnt want to get acrylic.... I scheduled an appointment for Sunday morning. I get there early and I was just supposed to do my hands but i wanted to get my feet done too so I asked for a pedi.... well the water was cold and i didnt request the spa pedi because well its freezing outside and well no one is going to see my nails but anyways that's not the worst thing. She gets done with my feet and we go over to the tables to do my hands.... once again cold water. She starts buffing them and for some reason she wants to use the clippers..... I didnt want her to use it because I had kept them as even as I could... she cuts them and then starts filing well I wanted them squaloval and I tell her make them even... she doesn't listen and proceeds to make my nails into triangles.....one month of growing my nails wasted...... never coming here again.. when I book an appointment it for me to relax read more

I used to lived in Clifton Park and Nail Studio is my go to place to get my nails done. Ryan and Christine are the best! Nobody does acrylic as well as Ryan. Christine is amazing if you want a unique design for you little toes. The place is clean, beautifully decorated, and have a well stock supply of OPI nail colors to choose from. I must also mention their GREAT customer service. I wish I could them more stars! read more

Expect ridiculous wait times even with appointment and crappy job on nails and that's if they even last. Took my 4 year old niece to get her nails done here for the first time and it turned out to be one of the worst nail experiences I've had to date. And I get my nails done every 2 weeks for 5+ years. First we booked an appointment and they still made me and a four year old sit for over an hour before they even started. They put us in chairs about 30 minutes into it and left us in the pedicure chairs for 30 more minutes before anyone came over by which time the water was ice cold and a the 4 year old had already lost patience. It took us a total of 2.5 hours to get both of our nails done, one simple polish and one fill. Should have taken max 45 mins. To make matters worse her nail polish came off within 3 hours. It was completely dry when we left as we were there for 2.5 hours but didn't even last till the evening. read more
