I had my hesitations about living in a large apartment complex because I knew I'd run the risk of the property being managed by largely absent overlords. But the apartment we saw on Craigslist -- with its 12 foot ceilings, large square footage for a one bedroom, nice appliances and easy access to an apartment gym -- was hard to pass up on. However, my idea of this being run by absent people was disproved from our first visit when Kim showed us around to every time Joe services our maintenance requests to when Brittany kindly held on to my keys so my parents could access them when they had to water my plants (when I was on vacation) to Jordan always kindly helping me look for my meal service kit boxes to Julia ordering my quarantine planter box seeds for me (for planter boxes the staff made & provided us). The staff has made us feel super at home. They are super responsive to tenant requests and even though they're clearly super busy taking care of all of our collective needs, they often go above and beyond to help us. I will never forget Brittany helping us access our beeping (low battery) smoke alarm on a Sunday or Kim giving us access to an empty apartment to do our laundry when our dryer was having issues. The apartment itself is nice and well maintained. We especially love the courtyard and the rooftop. The appliances in the apartment are from trusted brands. The hallways are vacuumed at least once a week and the elevators as well. Service requests are responded to in a very timely manner. Almost always within 24 hours and by a crew that my husband and I trust. Overall, we've been super pleased from the day we moved in to when we renewed our lease recently. read more

This review is specially for the amazing customer service that I got from Brittany Story. I recently switched my job and I was anxious about moving to a new city in the middle of a pandemic. I called up Metro112 and connected with Brittany back in June when I had begun my search, curious to know what was available and how smooth could my transition be. Needless to say, Brittany was super helpful even 2-3 months before I was going to make a move (when she did not even know if I was even potential customer or not). She gave me virtual tour over Facetime and showed the apartments that were available at that time and gave me assurance that whenever I decide to move, she will be available to get me whatever help I needed to make my transition anxiety-free. A few days back, I reached out to her directly over email bypassing the official 'submit a request' route. To my surprise, Brittany replied even when she had just come back from her vacation. I respect that! She was kind enough to setup a call with my quickly and showed me all the options (again!). Though, ultimately, I decided to go with another community (they had a better offer at this particular time, but Metro112 is awesome too), I want to thank Brittany for superb customer service and going above and beyond to ensure that I get a good deal and an apartment. read more

I've been a resident for 2 years and just moved out last month. When I was living there, especially the first few months, it was a really good experience. Adam and Julia are very helpful and friendly. After a few months Julia (got a promo?) moved away. The new leasing office lady I saw the most, Brittany, is not the most friendly staff as she didn't seem to care what issues you have and she just wanted you to go away - not as impressive customer service as Julia or Adam's. The move-out process, on the other hand, was smooth until a month afterwards I receive a call from a debt collector to inform me of a $950 charge of cleaning fee, carpet fee, last 8 days rent, a late fee, and 3 days extra late fee. I completely understand and agree that people should pay their bills and cleaning fee. I would like to point out though, that I was not informed in any means, either by email, phone, or mail prior to yesterday which was apparently 3 extra late days after the bill was due. The day I moved out I personally asked Brittany if she needed anything from me and if I needed to do anything more. She explicitly said no. Metro112 had my phone number - they didn't call me. Metro112 had my email address - they didn't email me. They could've and should've asked me for a forwarding address, they didn't. They choose to directly add the late fee penalties and pass it to the debt collector - obviously they don't care about reputation or a word of recommendation from their former tenant, all that matters is the money. I find it reasonable to inform someone when they should pay a bill before charging a late fee, but this was not the case. If you decide you really want to move there, please keep in mind that they don't care if you know about charges or not - you have to be extra careful especially when moving out to call them a few times to make sure you really have no action to make. As for cleaning & carpet fee, don't bother cleaning your apartment before moving out at all as although I kept my apartment spotless, never spilled any food/drink on the carpet, vacuumed every corner prior to moving out, the $170 charge inevitably occurred. read more

My girlfriend and I reviewed the Metro 112 over the weekend which included more than a dozen apartment visits. Although we chose an apartment closer to the city of Seattle, I wanted to take a few moments to speak about M112. The facilities were similar enough to surrounding complexes to be considered the same. That is to say - very nice. Everything is clean and modern. However, a few things stood out. The pricing was very reasonable and some of the rooms had exposed concrete, which to me is an artistic turn-on for a room. The parking rates beat out any other Bellevue apartment we visited. The finishes and bathroom furniture as well as nooks here or there for storage were appealing. And the rental agent treated both my girlfriend and I with enough respect and kindness that I'm now logging onto a dusty Yelp account to rave about her service. Her name is Piper and I would recommend speaking with her. Based on the math and the good looking concrete rooms we'd viewed, my choice for Bellevue is the M112. This review may help you making your considerations despite the fact that I'd not lived there - it was a great first impression. And although this review is about M112, I'd like to take a paragraph's worth of time to say that THE AVALON - and their Sr. rep - it was laughable how poorly she treated us. I literally broke down in laughter after watching her talk down to my girlfriend - it was so out of place and tasteless that it became comical. Do not move here. Management doesn't care one bit if you deal with any issues and refuses to make things right when they should. I actually really enjoyed living here for awhile. The first year went by smoothly and Adam/Julia were very helpful with any issues I had, all in all was a pleasant experience. Then they increased the amount of construction they did inside the building, inconveniencing residents making a mess of the place (all without any adjustments to rent, due to the fact we were pretty much living in a construction site) I experienced the following all within a month: -Was locked out of the main entrance for over an hour (I had my fob, the door was physically locked for some reason?) while my dog was inside waiting for me. -A pair of my shoes were completely ruined by a sticky substance left behind by the construction workers, and management refused to replace them, basically telling me "tough luck". -The carpet in front of my door was ripped out during the day leaving just glue on the ground making it so I couldn't leave my apartment ON A WORK DAY causing me to be late for work (couldn't risk walking on the glue as management had already shown they don't care if your belongings are ruined by the construction workers) I was not even notified that the carpet was going to be removed. -On multiple occasions stickers were left on my car by the parking monitors (that took hours to remove completely) even though I pay $100 a month to park in the garage. -My neighbor smokes marijuana EVERY DAY even though it is a non-smoking community. I notified management at least 5 times about this and nothing was ever done. For the amount of money it costs to live here, it is absolutely ridiculous to have to deal with any of the above issues that I experienced. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT HERE. Spend your money elsewhere, you will get better quality and management that actually cares about it's residents. read more

I had lived in Metro 112 for almost 4 years. I'm probably one of the tenants who stayed longest. I even witnessed many staff came and left, like Kimber, Judy, Kellie (another Kellie) and so on. I think it's time to get them a review after moving out. I started with things I really like: 1. Fantastic location 2. Friendly staff and responsive maintenance team 3. Helped receiving packages 4. Moving out process is smoother than I expected 5. They remember your Birthdays and will write you a card typically Some perks: 1. Some gift cards randomly during holidays; 2. Pies send out in Thanksgiving; 3. Brunch / cocktail / other activities (like yoga) roughly once per year. Things I don't like: 1. The walls in between are incredibly thin (no insulation) and not sound proof at all. Our bedroom is next to our neighbor's living room and I can hear very clearly what they are watching when I was on my bed. We used to complain their late parties at night, which made me crazy and couldn't sleep. After complaint, it's getting better but they still like to have parties on Fri/Sat night. Sometimes I can hear what they talked about especially at quite night. It's very awkward to hear that as no privacy in the apartment. I guess our bathroom is next to their kitchen as well. I often hear they put something into the microwave and the "ding" sound when I sat on toilet. I hope their new apartments which is under construction will resolve this issue and put some insulation even in interior walls. 2. They don't care about you if it's something related to your neighbors. Our balcony floor constantly has nuts shells, seeds and corns etc. thrown from upper stairs. I noticed that they have two buckets hanging outside and some seeds dropped out from that two buckets. I assume our neighbors intend to feed the birds, but they are not aware of that the winds and birds keep the garbage out of buckets and dropped to our balcony. We reported this issue to Metro 112 more than 4 times but never get resolved. This lasted for several months and we gave up complaining to Metro 112 because like I said, they don't care. 3. Their pricing system is not reliable and make me doubt their price. Before we moved in 4 years ago, we really liked one specific room. But when we wanted sign contract one week after and were told that apartment had been rented out. Luckily they have another one with same floor plan exactly three floors right downstairs of previous one with a $100 higher rent. It was unacceptable to get a lower floor with higher price (one week difference, so no market change). They couldn't explain it and just said they ran the system and got price. They probably feel it was unfair either so waived our parking fees. One year later when we wanted to renew the contract, they increased the rent by a lot ~200+, which is ridiculous. And they didn't waive parking any more, so the total would be increased by $300. We tried to negotiate the price but they still said the price was given by system. They refused to give any promotion to loyal customers who paid all the rent on time. Then we really worked hard to find other apartments and tried to move out. At the end we were so busy and ran out of time, so renewed with Metro 112. The third year, they increased the rent by ~$200 again, we tried to negotiate the rent again of course. Out of surprise, it worked and our rent only increased by a really small amount. After that, I started to be suspicious about their pricing system. The fourth year, we renewed the contract month by month (or 3 months). The monthly rent was even cheaper than the previous 12-months-contract monthly rent. Even the renting market cooled down recently, it's still unbelievable. 4. Smelly hallways sometimes (mainly caused by animal waste, some one who doesn't follow the rules smoke) 5. Garage door is always broken. As I said, I've lived here for almost 4 years and I couldn't count how many times the security door was broken. So they had to open the door and let all the cars get in and out. The problems is many cars don't pay parking are still parking inside. They didn't tow them away even they claimed to do so. Overall, we are still happy with Metro 112 even I wrote many negative things. As I have friends lived in comparable apartments nearby in downtown Bellevue, I heard many much worse comments about those apartments. I suppose Metro 112 does a great job among competitors in general and I still recommend. read more

Its great apartment and location is superb. Staff is very helpful and very much welcoming. Things are fine as long as things are going normal. Things turns little bit upside down when it comes to unusual circumstances. Due to COVID and one of the family member being in increased risk for sever illness from COVID we had to shift out of apartment. Parent company had policy around lease breaking fees and those policies were not changed even during pandemic. The place I vacated was occupied within a week or two but I was charged 3 months of rent. 3 months of rent is pretty steep and given choice between health and 3 months, I had no option but to pay. COVID was unusual event which we couldn't have foreseen while signing up the lease and they didn't care about this and charged us heavily. For this reason I am taking 2 stars out. I wish they could have been more considerate during this time. read more

Lived here for two years now. It had an amazing staff when I first started. Adam and Kim are both extremely kind and helpful, and working with them have been a pleasure. However, Adam recently left and Kim has been promoted, so you end up having to deal with Brittany a lot of the times. Brittany, on the other hand, is not so friendly. Any questions you have for her seems to be a headache to her, and she just wants you to go away as soon as possible. The more time you spend in front of her desk seems to be directly proportional to how much stress you're causing her. You spend a lot of time week to week interacting with the Metro 112 staff, and you used to feel like you're part of this big family, but it's feeling less and less so. I tend to avoid visiting the office if Brittany's the only one there, just because of how unpleasant the interaction with her tends to be. If Brittany's the one that lead you on your apartment tour, I would recommend doing another tour with Kim or Julia! This is an otherwise nice place to live. read more

I have been living in this apartment community from more than one year now. I have to say this apartment community has gone down. When I was looking for apartments I selected this one based on the reviews here and do owe a review to people. Recently, this apartment community has a lot of problems: 1. Second garage entrance from 111th has been closed to tenants and rented out to outside vendor. This has created a shortage of parking space. 2. The parking is such a mess. If you come home around 8pm there is hardly any spot to find. This wasn't the case last year and I am paying premium rent prices plus 75$ parking per month. Reading other reviews now I feel like some people just park without paying. I saw a car which was tagged to be towed by an external company which supposedly monitors illegal parking in the apartment and that car was at the same spot for 1 month with the tag on, and then moved to a different spot. I am not sure what kind of monitoring is this? I am paying every month and can't digest people parking without paying or not being towed if parked illegally. 3. The main entrance garage door doesn't open properly if you are riding a motorcycle. The sensor doesn't recognize you. One day I was riding my bike and literally waited for 15 mins and luckily another car came which helped me get in. The sensor does work for the cars though. 4. The hallway always smells. They have a valet service to pick your garbage up, and honestly I never used it, and I am paying $$ everything month for it. Its such a waste of money. Not only it leaves the hallway smelling but forces your to enroll. I see my neighbors keep there trash can outside all the time. Sorry I am paying premium rent prices and don't expect this. 5. The apartment maintenance service is ok. I am not sure how many people work at the maintenance site but if you file a ticket it usually takes 3-5 days to finish. 6. The management is always short staffed for some reason and makes it hard to pick up package sometimes. 7. Gym equipment is old and was broken for weeks, not to mention there is always something or else broken now every week. Sometimes its elevators, garage door, trash chute, smelly hallway. read more

Have lived here for 3 years, and just moved out few days ago. It is nice apartment in a great location with awesome leasing office. Brittany, Adam and Kim are all nice and helpful here. Brittany who lead us on our apartment tour has helped us a lot during last 3 years. Oven, microwave, refrigerator and all other furniture are new and modern. The only downside is that few apartments in the east( west?) building don't have AC. Overall this is the best apartment community I had in Bellevue area. read more

I lived here during the summer. It is a wondeful apartment. The staff is very friendly. They provided me a lot of informatiion when I moved in. And they are quick to reply my emails about issues. The room is comforatble. The space is large and bright. The appliance are helpful, such as refrigerator with puring water, microwave oven, washer and dryer. I've been living here since July 2017. Nice place to live. The staff is very friendly and responsive. If anything goes wrong, they are quick to send an email or multiple emails until the issue is resolved. The fitness center is currently being upgraded, but before that, it was typically always very clean smelling and very cool in there. Email updates were sent about the updated being implemented. Response time for repairs has also been decent. So far, a couple of low-medium priority tasks have been fixed within the week I requested service. Would recommend. read more

I have lived at Metro 112 for two years. As it has been stated the staff is very friendly and helpful. Piper and Jessica have been great. The building hosts monthly events which are a nice perk, more warning would be great so I could plan to attend more events! The common areas are great, there is a rooftop deck and courtyard with several BBQs, seating areas and fire pits. The party room can be reserved for private parties and holds almost 100 guests. The gym is decent, it has a good amount of equipment and finally has a couple of fans. It would be nice if the disinfecting wipes were stocked more consistently, they run out often. The apartments are nice with pretty decent appliances and counter-tops. The bamboo flooring is nice in the kitchen, I wish it were in the bathrooms as well. The carpeting is not the best quality and it wears quickly. The location is on the edge of downtown, right near the transit center. Restaurants are close by and the Bellevue Square Mall is less than 1/2 a mile away making it very walkable. Metro 112 is far enough away from the clubs and bars that you do not hear noise at 2 AM. The apartments themselves have pretty thin walls, you can hear noise from your neighbors and coming from the hallways as well as some traffic noise. Most noise is not bothersome, it is an apartment, some noise is to be expected. I have a few yippy dogs on my floor, but since it does not sound like they are actually inside my apartment, I can handle it. I moved into the building in 2010 into a unit that had not been occupied, it was nice being the first resident! Sadly, the pipes in my bedroom bathroom knocked any time anyone on the floors above me used the water. The trash trucks come several times a week and make a great deal of noise, my corner unit would shake and the noise would wake me up sometimes before 5 AM. The noise took a great deal of getting used to, but I loved my apartment, so I tried to suck it up. Unfortunately, my upstairs neighbors got a young, very energetic 65 pound dog that barked for hours at a time. The dog would be locked in the bathroom early in the morning, dragging heavy, loud toys across the floor, right above my bedroom. When my upstairs neighbors would come home, they would play fetch with the dog INSIDE their apartment and wrestle with it. Imagine someone above you running around on their knees for hours every night. When I had people over, they would ask if construction was going on upstairs because the noise was unbelievable. When I complained about the noise, I was told that the building is a dog friendly building and the noise was to be expected. There is plenty of parking for residents and for guests. My only complaint about parking is that my car was blocked in and the building management refused to tow the person who blocked me in. My neighbors who had their car blocked in multiple times moved their cars and were able to shimmy my car out. If not for them, I would have been without my car for three days. This is completely unacceptable. Metro has a mandatory paid trash service and there are special cans you can leave outside your door to be picked up. Sounds nice, right? The hallways are filled every night with loose garbage. Some people leave garbage out all weekend and the trash is not picked up on Fri or Sat. When I am having guests over, I am so embarrassed that I pick up everyones garbage and throw it down the chute for them. This could easily be resolved if the trash service stuck to the rules and did not collect garbage unless it is in the can. When I complained in the past, I was asked to tell them which apartments were doing this - I posted photos from today, it is pretty much my entire floor. Now for the dirty, and I mean dirty. There is a dog area in the lot right next to the building. It is filthy. My dog is old and pretty sick, the area is a serious health hazard, so I keep my dog away. King County issued a health warning in November for canine parvo virus which is spread by dog feces and is deadly to dogs. At some point during this summer something has changed, dog owners as well as the maintenance staff have not kept the area clean. Some residents allow their dogs to defecate on the sidewalks and do not clean it up and it sits for days. There is no excuse for not cleaning up after your pet and it is sad that staff ignores the problem or is completely clueless about it. I was able to move into a top floor unit which resolved my unique noise issues. The staff was great about making my transfer as painless as possible and I greatly appreciate that. I wish that management would take a stronger stance on dog noise so that I did not have to move out of an apartment that I loved. My main concern with Metro 112 is that management is too nice and does not enforce the rules. It is good to be flexible, but a terrible business plan when it imposes on other residents. Lets clean up the dog poop and garbage so I can upgrade to 4 Stars. read more

Ended up moving out. Not because my rent went up (it actually stayed more or less the same) but because of the noise complaints against me. My fiancee and I aren't noisy people, but our neighbors apparently thought so, from both sides of the apartment. Anywho, when I moved out, I left the apartment in reasonable condition but did not make an effort to clean it or wash the carpets. $250 of the $500 is non-refundable, and they tell you at the start that this is the case. It covers such standard wear and tear, since there's no way you could possibly do professional cleaning and touching up to bring the apartment back to its original condition. I found the deposit process to be very reasonable. I owed some money on my past-due utility bill and the remainder of my deposit simply covered that. I was very happy that I did not have to owe $500-$750 for superficial charges that other places bill you for when you move out. As far as I can tell, Metro 112 is an honestly run business with reasonable rates, good looking apartments, great staff and a good location. The only downside is the noise insulation, but I will point out that I didn't have too many problems living on my own, only when my fiancee moved in did we start getting complaints. The noise insulation is the only reason why this community is getting less than a solid 5 star rating. read more

Would give 0 stars! Lived here for 6 years and management has only gotten worse. Lived in both buildings and things constantly broke especially in the newer one. The management office is thoroughly disorganized and unable to manage simple things like resident parking. They say they've worked on it, but they haven't. They outsource everything from parking enforcement to trash/recycling pickup. The current manager, David, is completely useless and we repeatedly say "I'm sorry, but there is nothing I can do." It's now owned by a private equity fund and they don't give a crap about residents just hitting their numbers. Stay away! read more

Hi, I wanted to lease an apartment in M112 since my friends had recommended the great staff and wonderful apartments. However, we are not in state so we requested for pictures of a similar apartment. While this was going they had 6 weeks off going on. The agents/customer call agent suggested video tour was not possible and we would share pictures of a similar apartment so that we could view it before signing the lease. The 6 weeks offer changed to 3 weeks this week and we have not received the pictures. I am a little confused as to this was not even our fault to miss the 6 weeks offer. We really wanted to consider M112 but it seems it's really hard to book this from a different state. read more

My girlfriend and I lived hear for 3 months in the summer of 2013 while I was working at Microsoft. The location was great right on the edge of downtown, all downtown locations were within a 10-15 minute walk and it was really easy to get out of downtown when we drove anywhere. Commute to redmond was only 10 minutes in the morning and 10-20 minutes commute home. Management was great and always helpful. We only had one maintenance request while we were there and it took less than an hour for somebody from maintenance to show up and fix the issue we were having. The building was clean and kept up. Some of the residents were not the best. On one occasion we went to use the community multipurpose room to find a couple other residents in there with their pit bull, which ran at us and started barking; needless to say we were out of there ASAP. This was not a fault of the management though and I don't blame it on them. We checked out a couple other apartments in the downtown area and if we were to come back to the area we would most likely return to this community. Was a bit pricy also but what isn't in downtown Bellevue? Overall I got good vibes from this community that I did not get from others in the area or the management of other communities, and can you really put a price on good vibes? M112 is an excellent place to live. we stayed here for about half a year and loved it. The staff is very responsive and easy to deal with. The apartments are modern. The general facilities are great (small but nice gym, plenty of parking, beautiful rooftop deck with bbq grills, nice lounge). Parking spaces are a good size and I never had any problem finding parking. Rent is a bit expensive but it's in downtown bellevue which in general is expensive. tips: They are wired with fiber so you can get blazingly fast internet access thru condointernet. They have 2 buildings- choose the newer west tower, as that building seems to have be more. modern and rooms seem a bit nicer (have ac for instance) and rooms seem quieter. As everyone has said the management team is top notch-the best we have ever had, and ever seen in Bellevue. Piper, Sherri are amazing and really care to ensure you have a positive 'dwell well' experience. Love the events even if I travel too much to catch them all! Best parking in Bellevue hands down- Best rooftop terrace in Bellevue hands down- Best staff in Bellevue hands down & great maintenance (thanks Sparky!) if you need it too Hardwood in kitchen is nice wish it was throughout house though Granite counter tops are fantastic Stainless steel appliances are great and new Windows and walls keep sound from OUTSIDE building out despite being on busy 4th ave you never hear a thing from OUTSIDE Master Suite is huge! (almost too big might have rather seen that space in living room!) and walk in closet and his n her sinks all good. walls are THIN inside between apartments. If we put our bed on outside wall we can't sleep because of neighbors TV, microwave, voices, Ect. we are in penthouse suite and rooftop footsteps are LOUD all summer long! As I said they did amazing job insulating from outside noise but not internal noise-in some cases kept up all night (but hey, that's apartment living once in awhile) fixtures are standard-I wish they would have done dark wood and newer funkier fixtures but maybe that's just personal preference. Very pet friendly community-gym is decent enough unless our hardcore you won't need a gym pass, and business room and lounge are standard and classy and clean. Location is amazing to grocery stores (whole foods and Safeway) and highway obviously or a stumble home from Bellevue nightlife too. Only complaints are noise (love thy neighbor) periodically, carpet which is kinda blah and wears quickly, and beech colored cabinets/boring fixtures which would become outdated quickly. Floor to ceiling windows on brand new place would have been sweet but probably one of the things that kept price down. Valet Garbage is all cool, but IMO not worth the mandatory $25 month, and should be optional. Pet Rent is all cool, but maybe a hose to wash the little suckers off in the garage would be cool. Utilities were more then we expected $100+ month but electricity was less $30 month so take it for what it's worth. read more

When I moved in 3 years ago, I really liked it. Julia, the property manager was super helpful, considerate and responsive. After she left, everything deteriorated. The new manager Adam seldom replied email promptly and I often had to asked and reminded him a thousand times before he could provided the information needed either for lease renewal or move-out. And new parcel machine doesn't make any sense. I still needed to be at there before 6 pm to get my package otherwise I would wait until Weekend. They was building another building onsite and did a lot construction inside, during which they paid no attention to the existing tenants. They started construction early in the morning and it was very noisy that I had to get up and there was no Gym at all and no common area at all. Parking experience was terrible too. They often left a hard-to-move sticker on side window of my car for parking over line. But the fact was their parking spaces were so small and cars next to mine were often parked by the line. I had no choice but parking over line on the other side, otherwise there was no way people could get on the car next to me. read more

An apartment should be about the unit, the location and the staff. We had a two bedroom 2 bath, plenty of space. A large master bedroom and an open living/kitchen area. It worked well for us. The location is great. You can walk to just about anywhere in downtown Bellevue but Metro 112 is on the edge of downtown so you avoid living in the more densely populated areas. As far as the staff go they are top notch. Their leasing agents are friendly, considerate and helpful. The maintenance staff are the same, they always greet you with a friendly hello and are willing to help on short notice. I read some reviews about the traffic noise and/or police sirens. First, if you want complete silence then you don't want to live in any downtown area. Noise is part of living in densely populated areas. With that said, the noise is mild. I may hear a police/ambulance/firetruck a few times a week but those vehicles are moving so the sound comes and goes in a matter of seconds. Second, other people have complained about the dog area. We took our dog to that area 3 times a day. Yes, occasionally you will come across some dog poop that a neglectful owner left behind. No apartment can be expected to staff a vacant lot to monitor everyone using this area. In 12 months of walking our dog in that area she has never contracted Parvo and neither I nor my wife have ever stepped in dog poo. I hope this review helps someone searching for an apartment in downtown Bellevue. If you're in doubt, go check the place out for yourself. You'll know if it's a good fit. 4 stars for overall experience. 5++ stars for management and maintenance team. They are the best in downtown Bellevue. Super responsive and friendly. Great communication. 1star for residence. Majority not friendly at all. Some tenants don't have pet etiquette; accidents in the hallway, and sometimes don't pick up their dog's poop. 4 stars for property mainly for its location. Units are clean and up to date. Good amenities. Gym is small but decent. Wish it doesn't have the air freshener, it's not pleasant when it co-mingles with the smell of sweat and if I'm lucky body odor or worst, gas, yes, some people think their farts don't smell. The carpet in the hallways need some good cleaning, some have stains of grossness that leaves lingering smells. read more

Kim is amazing! She has been very kind and helpful to answer all my questions during my stay. She still took care of my packages even I'm no longer living there when my forwarding mail services has stopped and 2 packages were left there. Shout out to KIM ! I really enjoy the relationship built in the community. I lived in phrase2 building for a year, me and my bf moved out because of a house purchase. The apartment is relatively new and the price is reasonable, no extra/unreasonable fee charged when I moved out. The staff there made the moving in/out experience smooth and joyful. It's been quite a few months since I moved here. It's been a great experience so far. Location: I lived in Redmond before this and living next to 405 has been super convenient for me. I can walk to parks / restaurants / shopping malls in downtown Bellevue on a regular summer day. In winter I prefer driving in the rain and parking in Bellevue isn't much pain. Staff and maintenance team are just amazing. I just don't know how to expect anything better. They know you and when you pick up packages some of them don't even need to ask you your apartment number. Apartment: I live on a higher floor in the west tower. I can see Mt rainier out of my windows and balcony (on a good day, of course). The kitchen is just modern and nice, love it. Very very little noise from the highway thanks to the dual pane windows. The only complaint is the carpet - it's not bad but it's just not as good compared to other amenities in the apartment. Parking: Easy and secure with gate control. There are 2 floors for resident parking - and I haven't got down to the lower level for couple months now - there's always plenty even on the more convenient level. Rent: I've not renewed so I can't tell. But they've offered a competitive rate (compared to other apartments in downtown Bellevue) to start with, considering that most apartments don't have A/C or have this or that you have to put up with, while in here everything just works smoothly. read more

So, I didn't want to write a review until the end of my lease. I've lived here just under a year and I've never had any issues with anything here--to say the least, my stay here has been nothing but delightful. I lived in a 2bed/bath corner apartment on the ninth floor facing the east, with a great view of the cascades and Rainier on a clear day. The apartment has a lot of windows, not floor to ceiling ones, but enough to still get a nice view of the city at night. Floors are concrete, so you can really tune the music up without angering the neighbors; however, the walls between apartments seem a little thin because where I lived occasionally a really pissed off baby can be heard. It wasn't a big deal, but something to take note. The staff is very friendly, and it really feels like they genuinely care about its residents. Our requests for repairing things get resolved in a day, and are actually repaired properly. None of this half assed stuff. The staff offers a couple of informational meetings, free food and swag they give to new residents, and monthly community events. It makes you feel welcome, and even sometimes 'at home' when you've moved from far away to take on a new job or something. One thing that always got to me about this place was their fire pits, both in the hang out area in the middle of the building and the one on the rooftop. They are almost never off, and throughout the year it was like a thing I looked to see if it was always working. Plus, the firepit made the rooftop a fantastic place to hangout at night, in the summer mostly, but winter was doable if you were ballsy enough. Also, parking isn't much of an issue here, though it does appear to get really busy in the visitor parking area, the resident parking below is almost never filled up and is pretty spacious as opposed other apartment buildings in downtown. Bellevue Square and the transit center are both walking distance from Metro 112, and it's far enough from there that you're not stuck in traffic trying to get home. Easily one of the better stand out apartments I've ever lived. read more

Great experience living here. Building is new, nice. Apartment was awesome - overlooking alive and highway. The best part of Metro 112 is the friendly staff. They helped out before, during and even after moving out. They were very friendly and also organized social events. Been staying in this place for a bit over a year now and I love it. The management is second to none in terms of customer service and helpfulness; they're all simply awesome. The place also does package receiving which is a big plus in my book since I work during the day from M-F, making it very difficult if not downright impossible for me to receive packages at home. The monthly lease is a bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for: new building, secured garage (1st year free, then it's $65 a month), in-suite washer/dryer, A/C (really helps during those hot summer days), granite counter-tops, new appliances, decent gym.. Also, the utility bills are a bit expensive too and I agree with the previous poster that the mandatory valet garbage could be made optional. My unit is right across the garbage chute and I wouldn't mind taking out the trash myself if that means a savings of $25 monthly. Lastly, I personally would prefer hardwood floor throughout instead of just in the kitchen area but to each their own. Overall, very satisfied with the place and I look forward to more enjoyable days to come. read more

We've been here just a short time and I have to say the staff is very friendly. We love living here. The common areas are great and parking is a breeze. The location is fab. Anything we need is immediately addresses and the staff are always available to go above and beyond. The gym is ok. I can't seem to figure out the remote controls and the the headphone jacks are worn out. I'd recommend this apartment complex in a hot minute. We love Metro 112!!! read more
