I had lived in Metro 112 for almost 4 years. I'm probably one of the tenants who stayed longest. I even witnessed many staff came and left, like Kimber, Judy, Kellie (another Kellie) and so on. I think it's time to get them a review after moving out. I started with things I really like: 1. Fantastic location 2. Friendly staff and responsive maintenance team 3. Helped receiving packages 4. Moving out process is smoother than I expected 5. They remember your Birthdays and will write you a card typically Some perks: 1. Some gift cards randomly during holidays; 2. Pies send out in Thanksgiving; 3. Brunch / cocktail / other activities (like yoga) roughly once per year. Things I don't like: 1. The walls in between are incredibly thin (no insulation) and not sound proof at all. Our bedroom is next to our neighbor's living room and I can hear very clearly what they are watching when I was on my bed. We used to complain their late parties at night, which made me crazy and couldn't sleep. After complaint, it's getting better but they still like to have parties on Fri/Sat night. Sometimes I can hear what they talked about especially at quite night. It's very awkward to hear that as no privacy in the apartment. I guess our bathroom is next to their kitchen as well. I often hear they put something into the microwave and the "ding" sound when I sat on toilet. I hope their new apartments which is under construction will resolve this issue and put some insulation even in interior walls. 2. They don't care about you if it's something related to your neighbors. Our balcony floor constantly has nuts shells, seeds and corns etc. thrown from upper stairs. I noticed that they have two buckets hanging outside and some seeds dropped out from that two buckets. I assume our neighbors intend to feed the birds, but they are not aware of that the winds and birds keep the garbage out of buckets and dropped to our balcony. We reported this issue to Metro 112 more than 4 times but never get resolved. This lasted for several months and we gave up complaining to Metro 112 because like I said, they don't care. 3. Their pricing system is not reliable and make me doubt their price. Before we moved in 4 years ago, we really liked one specific room. But when we wanted sign contract one week after and were told that apartment had been rented out. Luckily they have another one with same floor plan exactly three floors right downstairs of previous one with a $100 higher rent. It was unacceptable to get a lower floor with higher price (one week difference, so no market change). They couldn't explain it and just said they ran the system and got price. They probably feel it was unfair either so waived our parking fees. One year later when we wanted to renew the contract, they increased the rent by a lot ~200+, which is ridiculous. And they didn't waive parking any more, so the total would be increased by $300. We tried to negotiate the price but they still said the price was given by system. They refused to give any promotion to loyal customers who paid all the rent on time. Then we really worked hard to find other apartments and tried to move out. At the end we were so busy and ran out of time, so renewed with Metro 112. The third year, they increased the rent by ~$200 again, we tried to negotiate the rent again of course. Out of surprise, it worked and our rent only increased by a really small amount. After that, I started to be suspicious about their pricing system. The fourth year, we renewed the contract month by month (or 3 months). The monthly rent was even cheaper than the previous 12-months-contract monthly rent. Even the renting market cooled down recently, it's still unbelievable. 4. Smelly hallways sometimes (mainly caused by animal waste, some one who doesn't follow the rules smoke) 5. Garage door is always broken. As I said, I've lived here for almost 4 years and I couldn't count how many times the security door was broken. So they had to open the door and let all the cars get in and out. The problems is many cars don't pay parking are still parking inside. They didn't tow them away even they claimed to do so. Overall, we are still happy with Metro 112 even I wrote many negative things. As I have friends lived in comparable apartments nearby in downtown Bellevue, I heard many much worse comments about those apartments. I suppose Metro 112 does a great job among competitors in general and I still recommend.

My least favorite "service" at Metro 112, trash pickup service means hallways filled with loose garbage several days a week.

They are always ready to help you and solve your problem. I can feel they really care about your problems and want to make your stay comfortable and happy. I had a package showed delivered but actually the mail man did not delivered to my door or in the locker. Manager MT helped me, we looked every possible corner. Although we failed to find it, he suggests me to send him the proof of delivery and he will help me asking the mailman where the package is. I really appreciate his help for me, which makes me feel much better from the frustrations of finding a missing mail. Besides, their building is concrete so that it is always quiet. They have air conditioning and they have great places for BBQ, game, party. And they have a gym. I like their decorations in the lobby and hallways. They have a lot of lightning in the room so you may not need to buy several floor lamps. I love their kitchen island, which save me buying a dining table. There are 7-11 and CVS next to the Meyden; and a 5 mins walk to Safeway. So it is convenient! Also, the downtown park are great for walker, jogger, dogs; the beach park has a stunning view all season, and super fun water sport time in the summer. The Meyden has positives. The location is attractive, the property presents well visually, and some units offer beautiful views. Unfortunately, my actual living experience was deeply disappointing. A significant issue surfaced immediately after move-in involving my AC system and drain line. The problem required ongoing remediation efforts and frequent maintenance access throughout my tenancy. During certain periods, maintenance presence became a near-daily reality, and visit timing often felt inconsistent enough that I rarely knew when someone might arrive. During this process, I experienced multiple occasions where maintenance personnel were inside my apartment before I realized they had arrived. On one occasion, I awoke from a nap to find maintenance personnel in my unit. On another, I had just exited the shower and discovered maintenance personnel already present. Regardless of procedures surrounding access, the unpredictability and frequency of entry significantly affected my sense of privacy and comfort in my own home. I also experienced recurring drain/water odors, repeated notices, inspections, maintenance scheduling, and a general feeling of continual interruption rather than residential calm. Noise was another major factor in my experience. Environmental noise, surrounding activity, and sound transmission between units were all noticeable. Footsteps, pacing, dropped items, and neighboring activity were often clearly audible. One particularly difficult issue involved my piano. My piano was a major priority during my housing search, and I disclosed during touring, leasing, and move-in that I am a longtime pianist who plays frequently. At every stage, I was informed this would not be an issue provided I remained outside quiet hours. I followed those expectations. Despite this, I received repeated complaint communications regarding my playing. After discussing the matter directly, I learned the complaints originated from a single neighboring resident. I verified that I was not playing during quiet hours and obtained written confirmation that piano playing was permitted. Despite this, the situation escalated into direct confrontation from the neighbor before the matter was ultimately addressed. My move-out and lease closeout experiences were also difficult. After providing notice, coordinating logistics, and reserving an elevator, my midweek move-out during normal business hours changed unexpectedly due to an off-site staff meeting, requiring me to personally manage portions of the move-out process that I had not anticipated handling. Additionally, a prior rent accommodation related to the initial AC issue was effectively reversed during the early lease termination settlement, substantially increasing the financial burden of ending the lease. Attempts to negotiate a more flexible resolution were unsuccessful. Every renter will prioritize different things. Based on my experience, I would encourage prospective residents to carefully consider maintenance/access expectations, building noise sensitivity, operational processes, and lease flexibility when determining fit. I would not choose to live here again.

When I moved out, they claimed several hours of sanding work required for repainting and were evasive about providing evidence that it actually took so long. Every lease renewal saw a giant jump in rates (9.9% one year), which we negotiated back down to sane levels. They use algorithmic pricing designed to worsen the housing crisis while maximizing their profits. They also recently decided to stop offering affordable housing units under the MFTE program. Building was frequently under repair, including elevators being out of service for months, which was incredibly difficult when my partner was recovering from knee surgery. The units, which are now finally undergoing renovation, were poorly lit with low quality fixtures like plastic track lights, vinyl flooring, and a prison shower head. The original office staff were quite unhelpful and antagonistic, prioritizing nagging residents about hallway door decorations (while simultaneously awarding prizes for holiday decorations??). This has improved with almost complete turnover in staffing. Maintenance staff have always been very responsive and helpful. Regarding Capitol Hill itself, the value of the neighborhood has really declined. If you want to pay $4,000/mo to live in walking distance of 15 boba tea shops and national fried chicken chains while ignoring the human misery all around you, go for it I guess.

First few years were great (moved in 2016), managers were really nice. Shout out to Mimi, and then Schick, both were fantastic. But after they left things really went downhill. Management was just a lot more unresponsive, less helpful. Maintenance folks were good but of course they depend on management to relay tickets, so that was a problem. Turnover was a real problem as well - some just seemed clueless. The worst thing honestly was after we moved out. Manager was very lazy about how he handled the final inspection and refund of our deposit. I had provided him a new address to send it to and also had mail forwarding so that wasn't the issue, and of course he had my phone number and email address. I called but was simply told it'd be a couple of weeks. Still nothing so I email them multiple times, still nothing. So I just let it go. Fast forward a year and we receive a letter from a DEBT COLLECTOR (IQ Data Inc, a notoriously aggressive and unpleasant debt collector, look up reviews). Turns out the cleaning costs/final utilities cost more than the deposit - but the manager had failed to send a statement of charges, and worse, wouldn't even respond to my multiple attempts to follow up on our deposit/any charges. Instead he just let it go straight to collections... I asked if I could at least be refunded/reimbursed for the interest the debt collectors were charging on top of the original charges, a measly $27, but wouldn't even do this. Be warned, this is the sort of thing you may have to deal with after the move out. Not a rent paying resident anymore so they don't care I guess. There were also multiple break ins in the parking lot even during evenings when the garage doors should have been closed - seems they just left it open because it was easier e.g. for contractors. My car was broken in but nothing was stolen (don't leave valuables of course!), but a coworker who also lived there straight up had his car stolen. It might seem cheap for the location (still expensive of course, this is Bellevue), but it's for a reason. Updating my review since the new manager also broke their promise and ended up refusing to reimburse me.
