Miss advertised rates online and on signage. This is not an hourly calculation, but apparently an 'incremental' pricing structure. The signage incorrectly states 20$/hr on weekdays. That does not account for partial hours parked, even if only a few minutes. Like the other review, I was charged $91 to park my car for 3 hours and 3 minutes in this lot. Best part is I would have been out before the 3 hours, but valet was obstructing my exit by helping a customer, or resetting the gate. Also, rates posted on Bellevue square's website are falsely advertised as being much lower. Had I used my credit card this would be an easy charge- back, unfortunately that wasn't the case. Park anywhere else, make sure you don't park at Park88 Edit: after posting this I was refunded 20$, when requesting customer service check the cameras. I had to push back in a 2nd reply. A former unit in the building was flooded and now shows signs of mold, raising serious concerns about the overall health and safety of the living environment. Mold exposure is a serious health risk, and it seems management is not taking the necessary steps to address this critical issue. Security is another concern, as my car was broken into, and my mail was stolen. This has left me feeling unsafe in my own home. The rooftop facilities have been broken for over a year, and management has done nothing to fix them. This is just another example of their neglect and lack of responsiveness to residents' needs. The management staff's lack of professionalism and basic courtesy further exacerbates the situation. They rarely acknowledge residents, even when passing by, and do not address our concerns effectively. Overall, the combination of a filthy environment, potential mold issues, poor management, and broken facilities makes park 88 a place I cannot recommend to anyone seeking a safe, clean, and well-managed living space. My partner and I lived at Park 88 for 5.5 years and moved out only because we bought a house. This place is a gem. Extremely responsive and friendly maintenance staff, and leasing office folks know you by first name and by unit number. This downtown location is not without tradeoffs though, but it's not unique to Park 88. For example, maneuvering in and out of the streets can be challenging when Molly Moon's customers park illegally, and during the height of the summer, it takes extra time for food delivery person to find a space to park. But hey, for living next to both Main Street and the Downtown Park, with walking distance to Safeway, Meydenbauer Bay Park, and Bellevue Square, I'll take these tradeoffs any day. The construction quality felt pretty good. With windows closed, we couldn't hear much outside noise (we were on the 6th floor). We couldn't hear our neighbors or passers-by in the hall (except for extremely agitated dogs). And our neighbors said they didn't hear our infant crying either. We did not have any package stolen and was treated beyond our expectation during the whole-building water leak incident (our unit was not affected), as other reviews noted. Oh, on packages, here's a protip: If you don't receive your package, ask BLU across the street. Especially for Amazon packages. Pros: the view and the location Cons: chronic security issues and frequently broken elevators I've lived in this building since 10/2018 and previously rated this complex as 5 stars. There have been several issues recently that I was willing to overlook (water main break, water heater outage, several evacuations due to fire alarms, etc...), but in the past 6 months the building has been burglarized on at least 3 occasions. During the most recent event the thieves were able to wander the residence hallways because the security scanners in the elevators are faulty. Add to this that building management has been reluctant to make the mailroom more secure, and it certainly appears the property managers do not prioritize security and safety of the residents. In moving to Bellevue, I spent SO MANY HOURS looking at places. Closely researching. I toured Venn, SOMA towers, Kirkland 101, the Meyden, Avalon towers, and Main Street Flats. Let me save you the time and tell you that this is where you want to live. Slightly pricier, yes, but for a good reason - These are incredible luxury apartments. They are in the best location, have the cutest coffee shop below, and the best staff. Manager Joy Campbell is amazing!! Long story short Park 88 is a cut above the rest, from appliances to views to location to customer service. We have been living here at park 88 residences for over a year now, and we have to say it is one of our favorite apartment we've lived in amongst many others. In terms of our own apartment unit, we had a one bedroom plus den. We absolutely loved our unit, the utilities were new and performed well. The washer and dryer are the larger sized ones rather than the smaller size ones like other places. There was plenty of closet space to put your stuff. NOTE: many apartment complexes don't have lights in the bedroom. At park 88 there's light in the bedroom, den, and closet which was really convenient. In terms of the whole apartment complex, there's quite a few amenities like other reviewers mentioned and listed on their website. I really appreciated how the amenity places are well taken cared of, as someone cleans them on a regular bases, including the hall ways. In terms of the staff, I have always thought they were very nice and followed up in a timely manner when I had certain requests. Earlier in the year we complained how our neighbor parked their car into our spot, and park 88 reassigned us a new spot. Same with maintenance requests; every time I submit a request, someone will come and take a look or it will be fixed no more than 2 days. They were also considerate to wear booties upon request and considerate to our furry friend while we are not at home. In terms of noise, I do have to agree with some of the other reviewers. We live on the third floor and we would always hear construction noises every morning while the park was under construction. About 2 days of the week we would hear the garbage truck. Even with the windows closed we would hear these noises. However, since the construction on the park was completed, we haven't had much of a noise problem except for the garbage truck. If we could change anything about the apartment, we would like to see thicker blinds. Our unit is right next to the apartment next door, so it would be nice if there's a little bit more privacy. Another thing I would change is the elevator. I don't know what the problem is but it's always really hard to fob the elevator. We have lived at Park 88 for about 3 months now and it is by far our favorite apartment we have ever called home. Pros: - An abundance of natural light and windows - Forced central heating and air conditioning - High quality modern finishes - not only in the units but extending to the common areas as well - 9.5 and 10.5 ft ceilings (for the second floor) - Assigned and secure parking - An *exceptional* leasing and maintenance staff that will go above and beyond to ensure residents have the best experience. - The overall attention to detail in design, upkeep, and service is phenomenal Cons: - Move in was a bit stressful due to lack of organization and confidence that the team was in sync. Scheduling elevator and dock reservations with one member of the team did not seem to get communicated to other team members. This resulted in having to call multiple times to confirm. - On overage 3 days per week the trash company empties the dumpsters around 7 AM which is insanely loud and disruptive. The magnitude of the banging still frightens me to this day after dealing with it for 3 months Overall our experience at Park 88 has been of consistent quality and could not be happier. The staff goes out of the way to throw events for the tenants of the building, and those parties are always a blast. They're quick to respond to maintenance requests and other issues. Due to the flood in November, management is letting anyone get approved for a lease here. It is really loud and uncomfortable. There is one group of millennials who monopolize the roof and blast EDM pretty much all weekend. Attempting to relax or use the (only) bbq is just impossible when The Crew is over. I'm moving back to The Bravern when my lease is up here. I didn't want to live in a frat party during college, and I especially do not want to live in one now. Overall, the management team is great and responsive to requests/emergencies. I love the location. Par is awesome to work with. I just need to live amongst functioning adults. read more

They were misunderstanding, miscommunication, different views on how things should work in certain ways. But their upper management in pacific crest real estate is GREAT. The place offers nice gym, game room, and resident lounge. I love the hardwood floors, windows, Julia balcony, cabinet, and washer/ dryer( they work so well!) I live in the corner unit that is facing the court yard so I don't hear any street noise. The cleaning crew vacuum the hallway carpet everyday. The common area is very clean and comfortable. The apartment is located right next to Bellevue park, for the location, amenities, floor plan, and residents, I believe I have found the best apartment in town. read more

There was an unexpected plumbing problem a couple weeks ago that did not impact our apartment with the actual flooding, however ever since repairing the pipes we have and extremely inconsistent hot water (and the majority of the days have been only cold water). This has been going on for 2 weeks now and we have had MAYBE 4 days of hot water in this time. When talking to the office, we feel like we are being dismissed because "no one else has complained" which is what we have been told numerous times now. A plumber came in to fix the water and we had hot water for one day, warm water for the next, and then it was cold again. While the plumber was here he told us that it is NOT fully fixed and he would need to do additional repairs which would include turning off the water to the building for him to do it. We were then told that while we waited for this, we needed to run our water for 15-20 minutes in order to get it warm. This is ridiculous but I need a shower for work so I wake up at 4:40 am in order to run the water for 20 minutes before I actually need to get in at 5:00 am only to still find the water cold. Three days after the plumber, we are back to cold water and the office staff yet again, telling us that they "thought it was fixed, you are the only ones to complain". And that this is an issue that they will need to communicate with the plumber about. We mentioned that while he was here, he told us he did not fix it and would need to return to do full repairs. The office staff acted like they hadn't heard anything about this "oh, that is something he will need to communicate with us". I don't know where the communication break down is happening but we have gone TWO WEEKS without having a hot shower and we pay $2,500/month (not to mention however much extra we are going to have on our water bill this month for being told that we just need to run the water longer and then it will get hot). We do understand that emergencies happen, the original plumbing issue was out of their control, but we are extremely frustrated that our lack of hot water does not seem to be a concern on their part. read more

Update: Sometimes I hear nonstop beeping from my apartment .. just constant beeps all night. One time it was all weekend. Yes, 3 days/nights. I think I've identified the problem (I'm trying to help because the problem obviously affects me.. im invested in a solution) and when I reach out to management or staff, they don't do anything about it. It's almost midnight and I just hear this crazy constant beeping. Imagine high pitched beeps .. on and on.. and on. I'm literally so miserable that I'm tempted to call 911 (their after hours maintenance only handles 'non emergencies'). All you gotta do is check that all the trash chute doors are closed on each floor. So again not only are the staff not helpful but also not very good problem solvers. Anyway I'm just stating the facts. Don't listen to mgmt try and twist the situation into something that it's clearly not. Pros: Nice location right by the park Convenient location Higher end appliances with AC New building in general Friendly but private neighbors Secure building Seems well maintained Sound proof walls but not the floors (see below) Cons: Schizophrenic customer service from front office: helpless and dismissive to aggressive. The male property mgrs especially are dismissive. Office is near front door so you can't walk by without someone accosting you with an aggro hello - as if your recent complaint can be erased from your memory that way. Living on the second floor is not worth it if you value peace and quiet. The construction below in the retail spaces made the worst sounds I've ever heard in my entire life (let alone within the range of loud construction sounds). I'm pretty sure I suffered hearing damage. Now that construction is over, I hear music and some banging/scraping at random times of day. FYI, these retailers do business on weekends so your Saturday mornings will not be without some disruptive noise - which is just what you want after working all week and wanting to enjoy a peaceful morning/day at home, right? But to tie back to my above comment about customer service, even if you complain using the proper channels, you'll get either dismission or aggression and little to no empathy or recompense. read more

As someone who is admittedly high maintenance and picky (...and toured at least a dozen apartments in Bellevue before making a decision), trust me when I say Park 88 is in a class of it's own! You won't find any bait & switch tactics here, and the Management team has exceeded my expectations with their professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care for residents. From my very first tour, the Park 88 staff has made me feel incredibly welcomed and at home; which meant a lot since I was making a solo move from the Mid-west. The amenities (fitness center, game room, club room, & roof-top) are available anytime I need them, the area is top-notch with plenty of restaurants and things to do (all within walking distance!), and the property is quiet, clean and modern. I was very disappointed with how I was treated by the management team at Park 88. They treat you like you are just rent money and don't care about anything but that. I had multiple things that happened that made me feel this way. 1) They did some pressure washing in the garage in which they scratched my car from cement chips falling on the hood of my car. They never accepted blame for this and after consulting with an attorney, they finally said they pay for the damage. That ordeal took about 7 months. Also, after doing a little research, it was noticed that the contractors who did the pressure washing is under the same corporate umbrella. Which makes sense as to why they wouldn't have them pay for the damages. 2) The heater/AC unit in my unit kept making noise that made it very difficult to sleep at night. I could even hear it over my tv when it was on. This went on for over a month. When I was apartment shopping before I moved out, some places mentioned that if I had a maintenance request, if it is not fixed within 48 hours, they will reimburse me rent for each day after it is not fixed. Which, if it was like that at Park 88, I would have had a full months rent for free. 3) When I moved out, my move out date was on a Monday. They mentioned that nobody would be in the office when I was completely out of my apartment and that I could return my keys the next day (Tuesday). I did that, yet they charged me for one more days' rent because I didn't return the key on that Monday. If they would have told me that, I could have been out and made sure the keys were turned in when someone was there. 4) In July, I reserved the media room for the Super Bowl in February. They confirmed that I had it reserved. A week or two before the Super Bowl, I noticed fliers in the elevators inviting the tenants to come watch the Super Bowl in the room I had reserved. When I asked them about it, all they did was ask if I wanted my party to join their party. They never did honor my reservation after having it reserved for 7 months. In fact, they never even apologized for it....not once. The location is the only good thing about Park 88. So if you don't mind not being valued and being treated like just rent money, this would be a great place to live. read more

Park 88 was my favorite of all the apartments I saw in Old Bellevue. It's just opened in 2016 and everything is high quality inside. The soundproofing is good enough that I've never heard my neighbors. It's a fairly quiet area of Bellevue and isn't even that noisy with the windows open. The staff here are great. Everything from the scheduling the tour to moving-in was done smoothly. It's a small enough building that they know the residents by name and greet you when you walk through the lobby. read more

I don't usually write negative reviews, but hopefully this can do some good. Online and in person this looks like a fantastic residence. Unfortunately, their customer service doesn't match the exterior. I first visited the property in June, as I told them, doing advance work for a September move date - and discovered that they had a permitting problem that day and couldn't conduct tours. They asked me to reschedule until July. I arrived Monday as scheduled for the visit, and was informed that my leasing agent was called away last minute, and they had a special event going on and could no longer let me tour, asking me to come back Wednesday afternoon. I just returned from my Wednesday appointment, where I was told they couldn't let me tour an apartment if I was looking to move in September, but if I could move in August they would. It's probably for the best that high pressure sales tactics and poor customer service are evidenced before a deal, instead of later on. Too bad, though, it seems like a nice building. read more

I lived over 1 year at Park 88, and it was an absolute blast. The building is brand new concrete construction, and both sound&heat insulation was top notch. Being on the 6th floor, I pretty much never heard any noises coming from the nearby units. The units are modern with brand new appliances, and the materials used in the units are top quality. The best part of Park 88 (other than the killer rooftop) was the staff! Joy and Heidi have been extremely friendly, and accommodating me with my requests. I built some great friendships with the staff, and they were always friendly and willing to help when I had a problem! They really do care about their residents, and I can say that with confidence having stayed at other places. Finally, if you are into the hip downtown Bellevue living, this is the place. Forget the Venn or the Meydenbauer, Park 88 is where it's at. It is right next to the downtown Bellevue park, and minutes away from the mall. Old Main has some really classy restaurants and bars, and they are all minutes away. I can confidently say that Park 88 is one of the classiest places to live in downtown Bellevue, and I really enjoyed living there more than a year. read more

The apartment and its amenities are very nice. I do have one complaint though: the staff aren't very organized. To make a long story short, I had an infestation that required multiple visits by fumigators and furniture companies. Throughout the process I was relieved of my rights by the building manager and simultaneously expected to coordinate the process. The result was string of calls, voice mails, emails, and in person conversations with three separate people (building manager + deputies) that caused chaos. This disorder extended my misery by about a week and I doubt the staff took note or will take steps to avoid this in future. read more
