Birria Lamb Barbacoa Taco (Each Taco)

i love coming to this place since it's really close by and their birria tacos made from lamb are actually so good, like easily one of my favorites. the customer service is great too, they even have this little doorbell jingle when you walk in which is kinda cool and welcoming. their salsas are also super good and go perfect with the tacos. only thing i'd say is the price, i just wish it was a bit cheaper like around 13-15 dollars, but overall still really satisfied

Asada and Al pastor. Wish I had more Al pastor. . . Next time!

I heard about this place through a friend. I had a passed by the location before they opened always anticipating and hoping the Mexican food was good. Let me tell you, delicious! We had a little bit of everything Asada Al pastor Árabe Our favorites were the Al pastor with the bits of pineapple. So yummy! As a foodie sometimes you don't know how to stop so I ordered a torta that I ended up eating the next day. Only regret was not getting Al pastor. Great service, friendly people at the mom and pop taco spot. Will come again. :)

Big place with good tacos. I really enjoyed the tacos Al Pastor. The are the real deal, made on a spit-grilled trompo with the pineapple on top. Salsa bar has good options for decking out your tacos. The Taco Arabe wasn't my favorite. This place reminds me of a taco restaurant you'd find in Mexico, right down to the scribbled out menu items. Staff was really friendly.

Shredded beef takos. Rolled takos. I'll describe as beef flautas. I liked the two salsas on the left.

Basic counter service. Order off the menu on the wall, pay at the counter, take a seat, and they bring your order to you. I had 4 shredded beef takos. I'll describe them as flautas. Good flavor. I liked the 2 salsas on the left. The two on the right were good but common. I'll look forward to trying more menu items.

I'm addicted to the Taco Arabe. The meat tasted like it had a middle eastern flair; I've never had anything like it in a Mexican restaurant. Watch out for that guacamole salsa though, it's got a bite! These were also the best Birria Dip Tacos I've tried. Mind you, I'm not a connoisseur, but I never understood the hype. Now I do! The street tacos are ok, but Birria and Tacos Arabe are amazing! I'll come back for those in a heartbeat!

This first time I came to this place food was good! I seen someone say the bean and cheese burrito is what keeps them coming back I got that last night, and got it smothered and it was not smothered. It smothered in cheese if you wanna be technical I was very disappointed. This place maybe a hit or miss

Amazing food! Really taste homemade true authentic Mexican food, literally straight outta mom's kitchen highly recommend this place!! Staff is so nice and so friendly!!

Birria and al pastor.

Admittedly I'm more of a burrito person, not huge on tacos. Hence I did not realize they were so small! But delicious. Will go again. Three tacos is not a meal, though it was under $10. Next time I will get more food from this place. The salsas were very fresh and tasty.

Tasty tacos. I like the pork tacos best. Very friendly owner. We also tried the birria tacos which were good but too rich to eat every day.

Best Al Pastor tacos in Denver. Amazing flavor. There is a spit (trumpo) and serve with onions, cilantro and pineapple.

Started with the bean dip and was delicious! The chips and salsa were yummy, too! Also had fajitas, chicken burrito, nachos and all were delicious!

A lot of places popped up, but this Mexican restaurant really stood out -- great reviews and the food pictures looked amazing. It's about 13 minutes from the airport, which made it super convenient. From the outside, it looks small, but once you walk in, it's surprisingly spacious. We were seated immediately, and our server was absolutely phenomenal -- so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. For an appetizer, we ordered the queso fundido with chorizo (you can choose corn or flour tortillas). This is one of my favorite dishes to get at any Mexican restaurant if they offer it, and this one did not disappoint. The cheese was perfectly melty and stretchy, and the chorizo had great flavor that paired so well with it. Wrapping that cheesy, savory goodness in a warm tortilla? So good. For my main dish, I ordered the quesabirria -- corn tortillas filled with birria and cheese, fried crispy, and served with consommé for dipping. It was decent, but I will say it didn't have quite as much flavor as I'm used to with quesabirria. Still enjoyable, just could've used a bit more seasoning. The beans were actually delicious and full of flavor, but the rice was a little bland and could've used some salt. Overall, the service was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and even though it was busy, everything came out in a timely manner. The prices were also very reasonable -- definitely not expensive for the quality and portions. I would absolutely come back to try other dishes. With just a little more seasoning in some areas, it would easily be a five-star spot for me!

I visited the food truck located on Hampden after hearing good things about the food. I have to…read moresay, the food was delicious and definitely the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. We were told our total was $32, but when I paid with a card, the final charge came to $34.93. When I asked why the amount was different, I was told it was because I paid with a card. I understand that taxes and fees may apply, but customers should be told the full amount before being charged. What bothered me the most was the attitude. When I politely asked for clarification, the person cooking responded in a rude and arrogant way, saying, "You know that in the United States you have to pay sales tax." I wasn't questioning whether sales tax exists, I was simply asking why the amount I was quoted was different from the amount I was charged. I also noticed that my receipt showed a Denver sales tax rate of 9.15%, even though the food truck was located in Aurora on Hampden, which added to the confusion. The food is excellent, but the customer service and lack of clear communication left a negative impression. I would return for the food, but I hope they work on treating customers with more respect and explaining charges more clearly.
