This has got to be the worst T-Mobile store I have ever been to. I went with a friend who just…read morewanted to get his email working, and the next thing I know he has ordered a new phone to be shipped. Once the phone came in it had a different phone number and he had to go to the store and have everything fixed. At some point my friend said he wanted his data transferred over and the employee seemed surprised. Isn't that just standard nowadays?? Anyways, we wasted so much time there and then he promised that everything would work good within 2 weeks??!! How weird is that? I got a new phone at a Berkley location a year ago and everything was transferred over and working on my new phone that was in the store within 30 minutes!! Like I said - this is absolutely the worst store.

Simply miserable experience! Drove to the store to inquire about upgrading the phones for myself…read moreand spouse. My wife added me as an authorized user on March 28th and yet the store personnel insisted they couldn't talk to me about the account. I had a copy of my bill with all the account information and the only thing I wanted to know was how much it would cost to upgrade both our phones from the Iphone13 to the Iphone17. I was told to add the T-Mobile app to my existing phone and then I could see the latest phone deals. Just exactly why do I need to load another app on my phone when I'm at the T-Mobil store asking a simple question. When I finally added the app they put me through absolute misery by insisting I answer endless questions about power of attorney, etc. The Indian woman at the T-Mobil store I went to was extremely useless and unbelievably unhelpful! For instance, she asked me about the condition of my current phone and whether it had any visible damage or cracks. I had the phone right in front of her to inspect and she still pestered me with these type of absurd questions. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Shelby Township T-Mobile store at all costs!

Got my dad off his Consumer Cellular plan and onto my T-Mobile plan at this store. Jeremy helped us…read moreand my dad was so grateful he left him a $5 tip. I've never left a gratuity at a cellphone store; I even Googled if it was something usually done and it doesn't look like it is so I haven't been lacking. Hence, the look of surprise on Jeremy's face and his insistence it wasn't necessary before accepting it. (Dude better not get in trouble for this review!) I don't leave tips at the cellular store but I will bequeath a 5 star review here. My dad isn't tech savvy and didn't have some crucial details taken care of so we had to jump through some extra hoops but Jeremy handled it like a champ. I almost never go in T-Mobile stores since I started paying my bill online and I can't say that I miss them but this experience was about as painless as it could be. And this location is a bit out of the way for me - we were just near a Target where my dad got signed up for Consumer Cellular and where he discovered they only sell their phones and he gets zero costumer service there. So I don't know if I'll be back to this particular T-Mobile but I will look somewhat fondly on it if I pass it on ugly Hall Road.

He didn't give me the option to transfer my old phone . I asked how long would it take he said like 2 .5 hours. but, however it took all of 35 minutes for my phone to update all most all of my pictures and most apps once I got home and transferred my phone. I was not pleased with the service I received today. He also, didn't greet me but, greeted the person after me . He was with a customer when I came in but, he was assisting me but still greeted the next customer while hurting me along. I love being a t mobile customer but, I do not want work with him EVER AGAIN. I post reviews good or bad everywhere I go.

This time I…read moreknew it was time to upgrade but the woman working there with the glasses and septum ring 9/10 is not gonna be able to do anything to help you. She hardly looked at my phone and said she couldn't help me reset it or anything. Honestly she probably couldn't but I've been giving this nonchalant answer from her multiple times and it's left a bad taste in my mouth. I was directed to another T-Mobile location by her which is probably the only decent thing she's ever been able to provide for me. Will not be coming back to this location. Definitely going to drive out of my way to the 16 mile and Dequindre location.

There seems to be an abundance of cell phone stores popping up lately in this general area. Sprint…read moreis on the corner of 12 and Dequindre, T-mobile and Verizon are practically in the same plaza, and At&T is across the street from Verizon. But since I have T-mobile, I don't care about those other stores. Came in today needing to have my 4g fixed on my unlocked Verizon Phone. I guess it's a problem when you have T-mobile and you use a verizon phone. Anyways the girl there was more than happy to help, and it only took her a few minutes at best to get the problem straightened out. I also went here a few months ago to get my a new sim car, and they were very helpful and even offered some employee discounts for me (the employee there may have pulled a few strings). Thanks T-mobile, I swear today if you weren't going to fix my phone I would have switched to Verizon. Kudos!
