The folks at the service desk are nice. But the actual repairs and misdiagnosis from their mechanics do them a great disservice. Took our car because it would not start, after replacing the batter which was odd since I had it replaced less than a year on the car, the total costs over $600. Took the car home and while on the way now a flurry of warning lights were now on, turned it off and tried turning it back on, guess what same issue it had before. Took it back cost to repair now $1300. Folks steer clear of this place. You will regret taking your vehicle here. read more

I will say this and give credit due where credit is due, my buying experience was pretty smooth besides the long wait but overally nice vehicle purchase. But, I think when you buy a car and the after sale contact is very difficult for customer relations. Getting a return phone call of email response and then sending a certified letter to cancel the CARS PROTECTION PLAN is a night mare. After careful consideration and looking at some of the complaints online and BBB about this protection plan it is not easy to have something fixed. So with that being said I decided I really don't need to pay $4,420 dollars for a CARS PROTECTION PLAN COVERAGE for a brand new car. I feel the ford product is great and I really don't need this plan. But trying to cancel it is a nightmare. I requested to cancel according to procedure notifying dealership via email, and certified letter and returned buyer agreement and contract with new card but still no reply from the Finance Manager, Sales rep and the online sales rep who sold me the car. I won't mention any names. But all I ask for is a confomation that the CARS PROTECTION PLANE has been cancelled on May 15, like I requested and a copy of the cancellation request that was send. What is that so hard to do and ask a simple request. People don't feel pressured to buy the CARS PROTECTION PLAN for a new car read the fine print and look at the reviews about the company and the plan itself make an informed decision. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. This place has 0% customer service manners. It has brought over 6 years of bad experiences and unfortunately I've been tied to this place since I bought my explorer from here. 1st off, they did a good job of selling me a certified preowned vehicle that clearly had some paint issue prior that was never disclosed to me. Now a large portion of the paint is flaking off while the immediate panel next to it is just fine. It's clear that the prior owner did a cheap cover up and returned the car. I bet the dealer knew this prior to selling it to me. And that was just the beginning of my terrible experiences with Ford. I'll be clear, my 2013 Explorer has actually been fantastic, it's just the dealership and the Ford company in general. I had to pay out of pocket to have my trunk hinges replaced that caused a leak (a known issue with no responsibility taken). The list goes on and on with these people. I'm here doing an oil change and getting multiple complimentary inspections for spending $2000 last visit. When I mentioned that my A/C wasn't working they looked at me and flat out said "well that inspections gonna cost you", even though I'm staring at a coupon that says A/C multipoint inspection, including hoses, etc. No "im happy to look into that sir" or even "understood, but just so you know that type of inspection will cost a little more" NOTHING. Just a stare as if I was bothering them for a basic request. I'm fed up with these people and they should be ashamed of their terrible service. Horrible experience, worst experience ever. This is the first time in my life that I regretted to go to this dealer. After talking with a sales person, he went out to check the value my car, less than 3 minutes and he came back with the sales manager, named Jesus Alvarez, a shaved Cuban guy that think he can intimidate buyers with his body language expression or knowledge. I am a Cuban and believe me, I hate this kind of Cuban persons who think that they are the only one who knows everything and always they has the right. He was talking without stop trying to make impression about his sales skills, saying he has over 35 years experience and if I think that I received for my trade in $15k he recommended me to go with the dealer that offer me that amount. because in this town none will offer me that amount. That he knows the reason why I was at his dealer because none in Miami has the lowest price in that car. Totally a disrespectful person. I never claimed that I want only $15k for my trade in, I was explaining to the first sales person in, the conversation that I had with different dealers and that's what they offer me, more or less value and this person even heard me out or came with a value offer and discuss to see if I agree with what you are offering. He doesn't know nothing about sales. Everything was well until he appears. I have been buying different cars in my 17 years in US and mostly Ford. I will avoid this dealer. THE MECHANICAL WORK AT METRO FORD MIAMI IS VERY POOR! My Mustang GT 2017 engine failed in February 2023. I took it to Metro Ford. The repair cost $1,600.00. The engine never performed well after the repair. I kept calling the service department, and they kept telling me there was nothing wrong with the car. In other words, that "my senses" were wrong...Is this not called "gaslighting" in psychology, when somebody wants to play with your senses to hide the truth about an issue? That is exactly what they were doing. Went back for another engine check (the car performance continued deficient) in March 2023--again, "nothing wrong" with the car. This month, in August, only 5 months later, the car-engine-dashboard light started to turn on again, and the engine felt losing power and jumpy. I took the car to Metro Ford Service right away. This time the car had the "intake" defective and needed replacement. They ordered the "intake" and it took about 4 days to come in, which is okay. However, what was not okay was that I received a phone call the next day from Roger, Director of Service, telling me that his mechanic left a washer into the engine during the repair, and this mishap caused a "catastrophic engine failure." Roger said that I should not worry and that he would give me a "new engine" at no charge and install the "intake". He would charge me only the $1,900.00 agreed-upon cost for the original mechanical issue exclusively. I said to myself: "Wow! That is great service!" The problem is that the "new engine" performed worse than my car's original engine- the one already defective! Lol The very next day, after picking up my car with the "new and awesome engine," the dashboard light turned on, and the car performance was, once again, very poor! The story's point is that I needed to sell my Mustang GT 2017 in a rush because it was unreliable. The car trade-in value went down $6,000.00 in 5 months--not to mention the $4,000.00 I paid in repairs in that same period. This time I said to myself: "What horrible mechanical work" at Metro Ford! Today, August 21st, to spoke with Roger, Director of Service, and protest his department's mechanical work, and ask for a refund of the wasted money for the replacement of the "intake." Roger said, "No, I can't do anything--you sold a reliable car"--way to go, Roger! Wait a minute, is this not "gaslighting" again?! Jose R. Perez PS. I gave "one star" only because Alex Moody and Ana--both outstanding ladies. They both deserve "5 Stars," but the post relates to the poor mechanical work, waste of money, and lies. My husband is ecstatic with his transactions at this dealership. He was able to trade in his old truck and get a new one. They paid a bit less for the trade in but worked with him until he was pleased with outcome. There's a room for kids but needs to be updated with more toys. Great place to go if you want a good deal on a cargo van that you cannot drive because they are incapable of delivering valid tags. It has been three full months without receiving permanent tags. And, of course the temp tags expired. Possibly something fishy or just shear incompetence, hard to know for certain. Everything with the sale soared through just fine but the delivery was riddled with issues ranging from delivering a van with an empty gas tank; to putting the wrong temp tags on it which had to be replaced; to dropping the ball completely on the permanent tags. This is my second van purchased at metro. First experience had some hiccups but these things happen. This last experience ensures I will find another dealer to expand my fleet of vans. read more

The receptionist is no help at all! The day I went to buy my car the salesman and manager offered us the world and assured us they are great at what they do. Unfortunately, not the case. Four months later and a simple issue has not yet been resolved. It is hard to communicate with anyone there because no one knows anything. I told myself I would not buy a car, especially since I was just saving up for the down payment, so even if I found my dream car, I wouldn't have the down payment. Luckily for me, I was served by Sergio Sanabria, and then another gentlemen named Matias. My experience was great, they helped me find financing, even though it took a while, they kept fighting for me to get a good deal. They found me the car that I wanted, even though the car I really wanted started out at $70,000 so I quite couldn't afford the payment, but I did get an even better car I could afford..not at that moment. I went to this dealership because they had some good deals on select models of F-150's. I called first because I live 45 minutes away to make sure it wasn't a VIN bait and switch scam... they assured me the vehicles were in stock and the prices were correct. Upon arrival after viewing the trucks, I was introduced to "Jesus" the sales manager... who was the most condescending jackass I've ever dealt with in buying a car. There Ad was misleading stating a sales price that was only applicable if you qualified for all 5 stated rebates (that were listed below the Sale price)... which meant you'd have to be an ex military, first responder associated with the Farm bureau and a college studentI kept trying to explain to him it didn't say that on his Ad... and he kept saying "what do you mean??.. with a confounded / bullying face. I did my research of the local dealerships, and found very good prices for the new vans here are Metro Ford. Frank Ortiz was my sales person, and he did an outstanding job! A few months earlier I was in another dealership in Florida that sells premium vehicles, and I had a horrible experience there. So, to be honest I was skeptical about Florida dealers. These guys proved me wrong. They were very honest, helpful, and didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need. I told them exactly what vehicle I'm looking for and what coverage I will need for it, and they did their best to deliver. The finance person (I can't remember his name unfortunately) was explaining me every number on the statement, so I would know whether they try to sneak something in the cost or not. He was very clear and explained every question I had for him.
