Highly recommend Tony and Rob! They are your one stop shop for everything you need!…read more We started with our windows fixed by them. Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. Overall, would highly recommend them for their excellent work, very fair pricing, and being such good nature people!

This in response to Robert asking to have the review removed. I will cite one example and then you can make up your own mind. I have to take a few deep breaths before writing this review…read more We had Alexandria Windows come out to replace a few windows two summers ago. The communication and scheduling was lacking, so we were a little frustrated, but it didn't prepare us for the ordeal we were going to be dealing with. We live in an old house, 1920's. My husband expressed this many times, that appropriate measures would have to be taken as we had lead in our old windows and trim. I heard him over the phone as well as in person and he was assured they would take the steps necessary. The day the windows were to be replaced, my kids and I left the house. Two windows were in our daughters room, the other in our guest bedroom. One window was oriented the wrong way and still installed. The worst part was, after removing the old windows, the workers took leaf blowers out to blow debris out into the yard below and all over the rooms. My husband ran upstairs and yelled at them to stop, that once again, there was lead paint involved. They stopped and cleaned up, but not well enough. My husband wiped everything down afterwards, not trusting it was cleaned properly. A few months later, my daughter received test results showing elevated levels of lead in her blood. It was quick and not a single other person in our family had any detectable levels. I was livid. I'm still livid. I don't care that one of our windows is wrong or that it took forever to arrange communication. I'm livid that lead safe practices weren't followed as promised and my child had to pay for it. You can't put a price on that. Thankfully, she's grown, and the situation is under control now, but if you have an old house, I would absolutely not recommend this company. To the owner, if your business gives homeowners your word that things will be done safely and following safe standards, you need to follow through. Safety should be top priority. This could have had a very poor outcome.

Michigan Egress hires a small crew of three hardworking men, all subcontractors. Not direct employees of Anto or MI Egress. ME recently completed an installation at our home. Thus far the work appears satisfactory. It's a big dirty messy project, so be ready for cleaning up inside, and some outside. An outstanding administrative issue was finally resolved with them which took more time and effort from me than appropriate. Rounding up overall rating to 5 rather than down to 4 considering their courtesy and efforts.

I spent a considerable amount of time trying to handle this professionally and work toward a solution with the company. At their request, I even took additional time out of my workday to recreate the leak using a hose test and documented everything with photos. The result was clear -- water still entered through the window area after exposure. What has been most frustrating is the response afterward. Instead of taking ownership and actively working toward a permanent fix, I was repeatedly told the issue was likely my bricks, foundation, or something unrelated to their installation. Regardless of the exact source, the fact remains that the leaking became substantially worse after the install, and I hired a professional company specifically to prevent problems like this. Water intrusion is a serious issue, and customers should not have to repeatedly troubleshoot or investigate an installation issue themselves after paying for professional work. At this point, I've lost confidence that this will be resolved properly through them and am now looking into hiring a third-party company to repair the issue correctly. I will also be pursuing reimbursement for the additional costs associated with fixing this problem. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I think it's important for potential customers to understand not just the installation experience, but also how issues are handled afterward. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.

Once this happened we contacted Dover and Company and they did not respond to us at all. It was at this point that we started a complaint with the BBB. We then reached back out to the company and they were willing to talk to us at that point. The owner stated that he would be willing to replace the garage door at cost. We indicated that moving forward with that option was not the company taking any responsibility they stated that they would be willing to replace the springs exchanging them with their heavier springs at their expense. We agreed to that and moved forward with getting them replaced. When the technicians from Dover come to our home they did not have the heavier and springs they tried to replace the existing springs with the same weight of springs that we had originally. The technician mentioned it and when we brought up the issue he had to contact his company to get the go ahead to replace the springs. Once that took place, the door was still not able to close. The Technician left at that point. We still did get a bill for this replacement!!! That is a large issue. Not only was it almost impossible to obtain meaningful assistance and a willingness to accept some accountability from Dover and Company but the replacement work was not what we were promised and then we received a bill when it was not warranted nor was the job completed. Dover and Company has proven to be not only dishonest but also does not stand behind their work.
