I was a customer of Metro PCS shortly after graduating high school because I kept running up my cell phone bill with AT&T and my mom get fed up with paying the extra fees.. but this instance was to get a personal phone for my father. Tucked in the shopping center with Planet Fitness and Starbucks is a new Metro PCS, only there three months (I believe). Julius and Chris were there the two visits I made in February 2017, and they were both pleasant to work with. VISITS - 2/25/17 - 2/27/17 We were greeted instantly upon entering, and Chris acknowledged that he would be with us shortly as they were both with a customer at the moment. So, we browsed around to check out the phones and plans. The phones were clearly labeled, with whatever discounts and pricing they were to come out. The current special on plans were posted on the wall, "two lines for $80, unlimited data", but in fine print no tethering, I believe. We chose the plan and were still debating between two phones. Chris assisted us during our first visit. He answered all my questions regarding the plan, including protection plans and return policy. He also showed me step-by-step how to redeem my rebate for the phone, and assured me that I could track my refund. I was very impressed with the customer service he displayed. Julius helped us during our second visit. My dad was having trouble adjusting to a Samsung Galaxy On5, so we went back in to switch to the iPhone 5S as it was within our budget and more familiar for my dad. Both gentlemen greeted us upon entering, and remembered us. Julius was quick and efficient with getting us in and out with an exchange and a new number. I would definitely recommend people to visit THIS METRO PCS location if they are looking into a new plan/phone with Metro PCS. I went in to get my phone SIM card changed to the new phone. The person who helped me was kind but totally misinformed or deceitful. She assured me that the screen protector for $35 was the best would never crack or get finger prints. I called 2 days later to say mine had cracked and did indeed have fingerprints. She then said they all do that it wasn't replaceable. This was a rip off- I could have gotten 7 five dollar screens & replaced them if they all do this anyway. I called in couple hours before closing and was assisted by Julius, I told him about my current problem and i was in need of a new phone asap but I couldn't be there before 7pm. WOW!! Major kiddos to this Metro Pcs location. I went in to pay my bill and was told I was eligible to upgrade my phone (to be honest I didn't even know Metro pcs did upgrades). I stumbled upon this store being it right next to Starbucks so I went inside and was immediately greeted by Julius and Chris. I told them my current plan and they asked me to run a speed test against my AT&T network. I couldn't believe me eyes but Metro was the clear winner! At this point, I was sold when I was told I would still keep my same number, save money on my monthly bill and have more data with no restrictions. At no time during this conversation, I felt pressured but I do know when I see a good deal. They made the transition very smooth and the transaction had no hidden fees, I literally paid nothing! Fast forward to 2 months later and I have no regrets in switching over. I can even cancel anytime I want with no penalties but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
