Last March (2025), I switched from AT&T to Verizon at this store and got a "free" Samsung Galaxy S25 as part of a promotion. I then returned the S25, as I preferred my existing iPhone. Credit card statement shows the return credit, presumably the tax I'd paid on the S25 being returned to my credit card account on April 1, 2025. Fast forward 14 months and my wife convinces me to switch back to AT&T, but in the process, Verizon says I owe them $477 to "buy out" the device (the S25). After 2 hours dealing with Verizon customer support, they cannot do anything for me, because they have NO RECORD of the return. This means Victra either A.) failed to complete the return with Verizon after I returned the device to them or B.) willfully kept the phone I returned without notifying Verizon of the return. In the first case, this would be massive incompetence, and in the second, outright fraud. Either way I'm out $477 because of it. I attempted to call the store to resolve this, but the phone just rang and rang with no answer. Do NOT do business with these people ever. read more

I ordered an iPhone 12 Pro 128GB Pacific Blue on the Verizon App yesterday around 10:24 am for in-store pickup. I waited a few hours for the ready for pick-up email, when that never arrived I started calling the store. No one would pick up. Finally at 4:20 pm a lady called me back saying there is an issue with my order & that she was trying to resolve it. Then finally at 5:21pm she calls me back saying that she can't complete my order for pickup because she is having issues with her computer, because the phone is Pacific Blue. This made no sense to me whatsoever. What does the color of the phone have to do with me not being able to pick it up in store? The lady on the phone was VERY unhelpful. She told me there is nothing she can do & told me to call 611. So now I have to cancel my order & wait 72 hours to get credit back to my credit card. I also don't know what will happen to the Verizon Dollars that I used towards my phone purchase yesterday. On top of that I don't have a working phone & have to wait an extra 3 days to get one. This is THE worst experience I have ever had. To save myself from further headaches, I'll be buying my phones directly from Apple. read more

Came in to make a payment and was told it will be a 30 minute wait. I come back and another customer is waiting there too. The agent comes over and ask the guy next to me what he can help him with. He tells them he is there to make a payment. Then once he is done with him he tells me that another customer is coming back and he has to help her. Wtf you didn't say that to the last customer. Then he says that they can't take cash payments. If you had a sign or greeted customers they wouldn't waste 45 minutes waiting for no reason. My first experience at this Verizon gave me hope for finding a store that was actually helpful and wanting to make me a happy customer. However, as time went by and five months later I'm still waiting for them to credit me on an iPhone 11 turned in for the promotion. I trusted the manager when he said he would send the receipt to my email on file, and for a credit of $700 cash that was supposed to be applied to my phone so my new 14 pro max was all but paid off. That was October 2022. So far, I've called and of course that manager is no longer there but a sales gal remembered us and stated she would get it handled, guess what she's no longer there, now I'm on personnel service rep. three and have had to explain over and over my situation so far no credits applied not even the cash. I bought a upgrade phone, apple pro 14 and needed information transferred from my apple pro 12, I drive a considerable way to have them do the work because everytime I do it? something is problematic, so I'm most cases have a Verizon representative make the transfer and erase the memory in phone I traded in, So I dropped in at 12:30, the manager Jeff asked me to come in at 3:00 pm which I did so, as I walked in he was going to lunch, and as usual I had to wait for another rep, which I waited 20minutes, then the brand new representative approached me to help me and I exoalined what I needed? he said there was a 35$ additional charge to make transfer, Ok! if I knew there was going to be a charge I would of never gone to this store, which is a 20 minute drive to and from home!! the service was like out of cartoon movie!! The corporate stores used to do all the work and transfers for free!! they should tell the customer ahead of time! and BTW, when I did the transfer myself? there was many issues with erasing my date on old phone!! not my fault because I called a tech and we sent my phone without erasing!! Years ago I signed up with Verizon for my iPhone 4 cell phone service. From the beginning I have always been very happy with the technicians I have encountered. Most recently I went to Verizon to transfer the data from my iPhone 6s to my recently purchased 12. I had an appointment with Kimberly who transferred the data, applied a screen saver and patiently and thoroughly answered all questions I had about my new iPhone. Two employees sitting behind the desks half asleep when we walked in. The female appeared to use the last of her energy to get up and bail to the back room, leaving the male employee to deal with us. Asked about upgrading our phones, because Verizon told us that many were available to pickup today. Was told by the male employee that there was no way we would be able to get phones to until mid-December. Employee never got up from the desk or made a real attempt to help us. someone without permission charged over $2400 to my Verizon account. I've been a Verizon customer for approximately 22 years and never owed any amount close to this. Every time I have tried to call I get somebody in the Philippines who does not understand what I am attempting to discuss with them and gives me some lame. Answer that it's my responsibility, and that I must pay. This is America and the people in the Philippines do not understand American law and they don't understand what you're attempting to say to them. I have been an avid Verizon customer and had to switch my carrier. I was in the process of discussing with my employer, to change to Verizon versus the carrier that they presently have. This is a lot of money for me to have to pay as I am 71 years old and attempting to retire. Verizon does not care about their customers and they do not care about any professionalism dealing with their customers. On a sidenote, if I went to another country which I have done and traveled, I had to take my little dictionary to speak their language and to understand what they were stating or asking. Awful customer service. I showed up when they are supposed to open at 10AM and no one was there. I waited for a while and an employee finally showed up late. He immediately locked the door behind him, which was even more irritating since I was waiting, but I figured he needed a few minutes. He came back a while later, and still seeing me standing there waiting, stuck a sign on the door saying they would be opening 2.5 hours late. I called to him as he was walking away and he said they were closed for training. So what? I planned around the hours they advertise in multiple places and showed up on time, unlike their employees. I could see if this was an emergency, but it was obviously something planned and not important- yet they made no effort to correct their hours ahead of time. The least they could have done was post the sign the night before so I didn't have to wait for the employee to show up and put the sign up. I went to the corporate store in Pleasant Hill and they took care of me in about 10 minutes. That's all it would have taken; they wouldn't have even started their training yet probably. Eddy, the manager, was great and took the time to check in and went over my plan to make sure it was still working for me. I have had my plan for over 24 years! It is COVID so very clean and safe. Wore masks. So many people are changing their phones so the store is busy. Two customers were obnoxious so felt badly for the staff. This review is long overdue! If I could give zero stars I would. Went in store to pickup my new phone that i received notification was ready. When i went in i was told the phone was in the safe and needed time to unlock. After waiting i was told my phone could not be found.... and then thats when everything went downhill. Not only was the phone registered to me not in the store but now my account showed i picked up the phone! The lady helping me was no help whatsoever when she was the manager, she had no idea what she was doing. After an hour of waiting for my account to be refunded i left with no phone and now a huge problem, my account showed i had picked up the phone. She told me she would fix the problem but made no effort to reach out to me and every time i call they say it give some BS excuse that they need to call their help line, or when i try to contact the with verizon on the line they wont pickup. There is definitely some shady stuff happening in this store, and i wouldn't doubt someone got a free $1,000 phone that day. This was almost a month ago and now i am still having to deal with Verizon customer service weekly hours at a time to refund me and fix my account to reflect i did not get a new phone, reset my upgrade and my device dollars. I spoke with Sal before coming in. I told him I wanted to come in on my lunch break to buy the Galaxy S9 at 11:30am on 9/13/18. I told him I had lost my previous phone, no trade in, just wanted to buy the S9, add to my plan and be on my way. I show up and immediately he brings out 2 products. The S9 we have talked about and a Galaxy Tab A. He told me a promotion was going on where they are giving away the Galaxy Tab A, a value of $300, all I had to do was pay the sales tax, activation fee, and the monthly line of $10 a month. HOWEVER, when we got to the estimated billing page, I saw that the estimated charge every recurring month was more than $10 for that specific product. When I asked him about this he played dumb and said "that's weird, it will only be $10 for the line." This raised a red flag for me, I said I understood the line was $10 a month with my plan, but what about the surplus of that amount? Am I paying for this device? He continued to assure me it was a promotion where I was receiving the full value of $300 for the Galaxy Tab A. I told him I did not want the Galaxy Tab A if I had to pay more than the stated amount of $10 a month for the line. He assured me. THEN at the final billing page, when it was time to pay, I saw on the computer that the total amount financed included the $300 for the Tab A. AGAIN I asked him why this would be included if the tab was free. He said there was a $100 rebate, so then I asked him about the other $200, where does that come out of? Sal was very confusing, I asked him multiple specific questions about financing, the price, billing, contracts, monthly charges etc. I reiterated AGAIN that I do not want the Galaxy Tab A if I had to pay more than the sales tax, activation fee, and the monthly line of $10 a month Sal was very vague about answering my questions, but the bottom line that he assured me is that the maximum amount a month I would have to pay for the Galaxy Tab A was $10 a month. No contracts or agreements for this product were ever DISCUSSED or AGREED UPON. After this transaction I had spent 2 HOURS at this location, although I had called him before the appointment and told him I only had 45 for my lunch break. When I expressed my frustration with this he said it wouldn't have taken so long if I hadn't asked so many questions about the Galaxy Tab A. Even though he was taking 'breaks' during our interaction texting on his phone and he even took a phone call and left the store at one point! Additionally, I had wanted to pay for the phone outright - Sal said that was not possible and I had to be put on contract for at least 31 days before I could pay it off. I told him I did not need insurance as I already have it provided through my bank. He said store policy was that I had to purchase insurance for 31 days for both devices and I could cancel after that. I pestered him on these items, but he would not budge. By the end I was so confused about what had happened. This whole interaction kept eating at me so I decided to call in to customer service and double check a few things. The lady I spoke to was APPALLED at what she had learned about my interaction. She informed me of the following: -       I had purchased the Galaxy Tab A in full and was now on a contract to pay monthly for it along with the $10 line amount. -       I was not required to have insurance on either device for 31 days and cancelled it right away at my request -       I could have purchased the phone at retail price, I was not obligated to be on contract for 31 days She told me that I had been lied to and that Sal did not uphold Verizon's Code of Conduct or standards and she would be sending in feedback about him and the store to corporate. I have spoken to Sal after this and after a disingenuous apology I told Sal why I thought this was wrong. I was so upset my voice started to waver and he told me that he was just doing his job as a salesman which is to bundle things and that I shouldn't be acting like this is the end of the world. read more

I came back Saturday and she came to my car and programmed it into my Toyota. She is an amazing young woman who will go far and has already made a wonderful difference in this woman's life.
