I feel bad dinging a local business, but this one has really gone downhill. They re-plated some silver and brass-plated door hardware for us 2 years ago, and did a a really super job. We brought back more electroplate and door hardware this year. First, the quote was more than double. We paid since we'd taken all the door hardware off. When we picked it up, the brass plating wasn't even close to the quality of the previous job. I took two of the really tarnished pieces back, and they came back in worse shape with spots and stains.
