I am surprised they are on Yelp but thankfully for me that they are. On January 24th I sent my colored diamond Michele watch in for a battery as it stopped ticking. Along with it I sent a fossil watch that the hands fell off inside. Both watches since they are made by Fossil I thought they were in the best hands sending them back to the manufacturer. Packed in bubble wrap and insured Fedex as my Michele watch cost a lot as well as it matches my wedding band. A month after the watches were sent the Fossil watch came back repaired no charge as it was under warranty. Than to my surprise I receive my Michele watch back with the crown broken off and dead as a door nail. It says they have no crown or movement to repair. Ok so I get my watch back in worse shape than it was sent! I had insured it with Fedex for $58. and instead of contacting me they break my watch. I call they say that my watch didn't need a battery but a movement that they don't have. Also they don't say anything regarding the crown that they broke. I was supposedly speaking to the person in charge and she was going to get back to me. Weeks pass nothing. So I call again furious they send me a label to look at my watch again. So Saturday I get my watch back three months to the day after I first sent it out. Surprisingly it is running the movement and crown they didn't have I guess they found one. But get this a bill is included for $60. Plus tax and labor for fixing the crown that they broke?! I will be calling them today. Also I will never buy another Fossil watch again or any of the brands that they own including Michele. read more

I took my watch in to the Fossil store to replace the band sometime in 07/2014. The staff did their job and sent it in to Metro Service Center. I didn't receive an order number so, thank goodness it made it back from TX. It came back to me looking very sharp and I was pleased because they not only replaced the band but the crystal. crown and case. All for $45. My watch has lasted the test of time for 5 yrs before I needed a repair. Unfortunately, this new band doesn't look like it will last as long. This is the repair center for FOSSIL brand watches (one of our favorites). You will need to request a form from the Fossil store (filling it out is pretty simple and the directions are on the form). You will need to include a check (for shipping and handling) in the amount of $8.50 payable to Metro Service Center (the repair service is free, remember). It was a pretty easy process, overall. I bought a watch from the outlet store and a week later, the watch was running really weird- in reverse! I wrapped the watch in bubble wrap, packed it in a manila envelope, and sent it in. A few weeks later (the anticipation was growing), I got my watch back (it seemed shorter than the standard 4-6 weeks). In fact, I'm wearing it today! I am so pleased with their service. I decided to write about it. I had such a positive experience with this dependable company. I didn't know about this until I did a search online for it. This is what I found online: Your Fossil watch is covered up to eleven years from date of purchase under the warranty. The warranty covers manufacture defects and workmanship errors. Metro Service Center is based out of Dallas, Texas so it generally takes about 4-6 weeks for repairs to finalize and be sent back to you. They have had a long track record with their collaboration with Fossil. Hope this information helps other Fossil watch customers. I had my Michael Kors watch repaired after I accidentally hit on a column and it cracked the glass. They did a great job replacing the crystal, front plate and band. Was super fast too. Sent on a tuesday and got it back on the following thursday. They will repair anything you want on your Kors watch for $60 so I suggest disecting it and knocking everything out. I have a Tahitian white ceramic Michele watch which stopped working. I thought it was the battery so took it to a watch repair. They tested it out and said it's not the battery and I should take it in to a place that specialized in those watches. Metro service center is the only authorized watch repair for Michele watches. I gave them a call, and they provided me information to ship it in. I paid about $30 for shipping/insurance (to and back) but I thought it was worth it if I wanted my watch fixed right. I ended up getting my watch mailed back in about 2 weeks. It was the battery, and they charged me such a reasonable amount for that. They even did a water test on it. Fossil Group, FG Services located at 10615 Sanden Drive in Dallas, TX is a rip-off scam! Do NOT send them a watch to repair. Chances are high that they will claim they never received it, even when you supply proof of delivery. They lie and lie and lie and are brazen thieves. They received my watch on August 31, 2020. If you email them, they send automated boilerplate replies that never address the issue. I tried everything imaginable to communicate successfully with them. After several of my emails received no useful response, I did an online chat with "Kathelen" on Sep 15, 2020. She was nice and said she'd expedite the repair, but nothing happened. If you speak with an agent by phone, it's another waste of time. Phone calls last at least an hour. I spoke with "Madge" on Oct 1, 2020 and a few weeks later with "Leila" whose email refers to "Misfit Support" (lovely). "Leila" created a "ticket number" for my case when I called. She agreed to refund half the cost of the watch upon receipt of proof of purchase with the price. I told her I would send the proof of purchase right away. She advised that I should not count on getting a response to the email with the proof of purchase attached as "the company won't get around to reading or replying to the email," but that I should send the email with proof of purchase anyway. I sent it to her within half an hour. No reply was ever received, but a week later a boilerplate email arrived with the same old text stating that the watch had not been received. I sent several more emails asking them to repair the watch or issue the refund but only received useless automated replies with links that were not helpful. On Nov 1, 2020, Fossil Group sent an email stating they were closing the case because they never received my watch! If anyone starts a class action against them, count me in! read more

The top of the glass was completely shattered and some of the stones were missing. This is what you would have heard me yelling if you were in a 10 mile radius of my house when I opened my package that returned from the Metro service center last week. 2 years ago, I bought a Michael Kors watch from the Soho, NY store and was/am IN LOVE with this watch. A friend and I both bought Skagen watches at the same time. Both developed condensation under the crystal from normal wear. I sent both watches back to Metro Service Center, the Skagen repair facility, since the watches carry a lifetime, limited warranty. Even though I had mailed both watches together, Metro mailed them back to me on the same day in two, separate mailers. Consequently, I had two postage charges to pay ($8.50 each). Metro repaired my friend's watch at no cost. For my watch, which was returned for exactly the same problem, Metro charged $45.00! I sent them $8.50 for postage for mine and noted "Warranty Repair" on the repair slip. Why would I throw good money after bad? If Metro intended not to honor the warranty, they should have checked with me first before proceeding with billable repairs. Sent my favorite watch in for repair, when shipped back to me it was lost by UPS mail innovations. They want you to insure your watch when you send to them but they don't insure it when they ship back to you. Now I'm out of $55 for the repairs. Have to wait a month before anything can be done. They tell you, you'll get a refund but offer you a GC to buy a replacement watch from them, my watch is not even available anymore. You email CS & get an email saying thanks for contacting them & if you need further help to respond to the email. If I didn't need help I wouldn't have emailed in the 1st place! There's only one email address so when you respond to an email you get a totally different person responding back, therefore having to explain the problem all over again, they are no help at all. A Wretched Repair Service Experience About 4 weeks ago, I took my Fossil watch to a FOSSIL STORE in Hollywood, CA for a simple repair of the metal flex band which had separated. Not only couldn't they fix the problem, they no longer sell replacement metal bands. However, that's another story that reflects badly on Fossil. In any case, the store sent my watch to Metro. Today I got the watch back. The band was replaced, but was now too short and the clasp wouldn't close. Moreover, the 2 of the "12" was detached and floating around under the watch face. For this, I was being billed $45. I sent the watch back to Metro with a note inviting them to keep the damn thing. I'll buy another timepiece, and this time it won't be a Fossil. Incompetents! I sent my watch in about 6 months ago because the people at Fossil had determined that the movement was malfunctional. I payed to have it shipped to Metro and got it back 8 weeks later seemingly working just fine. I did not wear the watch for a couple months after and when I took it out of the box it had stopped working again. I figured it was just the battery but once again the people at Fossil said it was the movement. So I paid again to have it shipped to Metro and this time I got my watch back and there are scratches around the bezel and case that weren't there before and worst of all the dial is scratched because whoever fixed my watch clearly didn't use a dial protector when he put the hands back on after replacing the movement. Also there is a spec of dust on the inside of the watch that is just glaring at me every time I look at the face. Extremely disappointed as I really do love this watch. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible service. (Did I mention that the service was horrible?) Metro not only failed to repair the two watches that I sent in for service, they actually sent one of the watches back to me in worse condition than I had sent it! (The watch was sent back with a dead battery.) I ended up speaking to Metro on three different days about the watches: once after received an e-mail stating that the work on my first watch was complete (when, in fact, Metro had not done anything to it), once to follow up on a representative's comments (see below), and finally, once after receiving both watches. The first representative was professional and pleasant; she advised me that she would look into my issues and get back to me. (Unfortunately, I didn't hear back from her.) The second representative was somewhat nice, even though she acted as if I was interrupting her day. The last representative, however, was kind of arrogant and truly unpleasant -- you know, the kind of rep that makes you feel like you've done something wrong for even calling. His whole approach could be summed up by saying, "Yeah, so we didn't fix your watches. What do you want me to do about it?" An actual comment: "Just find some parts on the internet -- that's the best advice I can offer." Well, then why send the watches to Metro at all, if I'm supposed to just fix them up myself, Frankenstein-style? The communication about the issues with my watches was extremely poor. If I hadn't called, I wouldn't have had a clue that there were problems with the repairs. Well, that is, until I received the blatantly unrepaired watches, or noticed that my previously-working watch was now dead. So, all in all -- very poor service. I sent in my pink bedazzled girly Fossil watch ($125) within a year of buying it because I had *stupidly* banged my wrist against something and popped off a 'diamond' and had a big scratch on my glass. They quoted 4-6 weeks for everything and said they would invoice me. Well, it's been LESS than 6 weeks and I got my watch back and it looks *brand new*... and for a whopping $32 of repairs! They lost my watch, they won't help me. I sent in my Michael Kors watch (Made by Fossil) to fix the backing which had separated due to manufacturers defect (Fossil used a glue to hold on the back that can't withstand the temperatures of charging the smart watch, it apparently is a common problem with this generation of smart watch). Tracking shows it was delivered, but I never got contacted about the repair. The first time I contacted them they confirmed they had it, but it hadn't been looked at due to covid related backlog with their repair department and to give them 3-5 weeks. After a month I contacted them again, and they confirmed they had it, but just hadn't gotten to it and I shouldn't worry. After 2 more weeks I reached out them to follow up, and they didn't return any of my emails. Finally, 2 months after my watch being delivered to them, they responded to one of my email saying the USPS tracking was wrong, they don't have it and my only option was to contact USPS for resolution. I contacted USPS and after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, they confirmed it was delivered to FG Services and the "to agent" simply meant it was delivered to a mail room, receptionist, someone working at FG Services. read more

I am ecstatic about the service I received!! I dropped my Michael Kors rose gold watch on my kitchen floor and the glass cracked. I was devastated. - I've had this watch for years and wear it daily. I popped it in the mail with a $60 to Metro Service Center with the appropriate forms. Less than 2 weeks later my watch arrived in my mailbox. As I said, I've had this watch for years, it was scratched up and the metal on the band was tarnished. It now looks brand new. Not only did they replace the glass, they replaced all the watch links with new ones, and shined up and cleaned the entire face of the watch. They also re-set the watch for the correct time. Originally I was very pleased with Metro Service Center and they would've gotten 5 Stars because my MK watch came back fixed and cleaned in perfect condition. However, when I sent my check to pay them, they lost it, so I sent another check which they promptly cashed. Two months later, they decided to cash the "lost" check. I immediately called and asked that I be refunded because they double charged me. I was advised it would be mailed to me in a few weeks. To me, this was unacceptable, I asked that it be put into my account OR overnighted to me. Ashley, the customer service rep was terrible, but I was eventually told last Thursday that she would overnight it to me and I would be receiving it by Monday at the latest. Today is Thursday and guess what? I did not receive anything, I had to call back this morning and was told in fact that it was not being overnighted to me and instead is being directly put into my account which now takes 2-3 weeks!!!! You're kidding me.... I was lied to by the first "customer service rep" I believe to get me off the phone and then I wasn't even advised that they could not overnight it and would take 2-3 weeks to be put back in my account. This is terrible customer service and I am very displeased with Metro Service Center and their customer service. I am waiting to see what happens now. I will not change my review, and if my MK watch needs anything else I will find somewhere else to go! read more

I was a little skeptical about including my credit card number on the repair form required to be sent in with the watch, but I was impressed! I received confirmation when my watch arrived at the facility and it was returned very shortly after the payment was charged to my card. The whole process-from the day I mailed it to the day I received it-only took 10 days! I live in Massachusetts so I expected it to take much longer because of travel time, but I guess not! My Armani AR4625. As far as watches go it's not the most expensive watch but it's by far my favorite. I'm not exactly sure why, I just take to it and wear it all the time. Every now and then i'll take a break from it just to give the straps a bit of a rest. Anyway, the first time i sent it to Metro Service Center I needed the straps replaced. Sent it in, came back with fresh straps and polished. Was a little nervous because of some of the reviews but things were good. Fast forward about two years the dials second hand pops off.. It just popped right off during winding. Send it in.. expecting the absolute worst. Watch is returned, new dial, new straps, fully polished for a total charge of 0.00 for the trouble. So, I got the absolute best. While I don't hope to send the watch back if I absolutely had to, I'd send it to them again in a heartbeat. read more

Horrible service! I cracked the crystal of my Skagen watch. The only service to replace the crystal is Metro. The watch was working when I sent it to them. The crystal was replaced and when they sent it back the watch was not working. Thinking that it might need a battery I took it to the jeweler where I bought it. The battery was not the problem. I sen the watch back to Metro. When it came back it was working but the stem (crown) was missing and I couldn't change the time or date. Amazed with the service and price. Sent in my Skagen to replace the crystal, band, and battery. It had been out of production for probably 8 years, but they replaced all the pieces with new, identical components! My watch looks brand new, and I couldn't be happier. P.S. - The tracking number I received was a little unusual looking, but that's just because it was a UPS Mail Innovations (UPS in partnership with the USPS) tracking number. I sent it back and there was free returns and exchanges which was very helpful. There was the return label and box so, I shipped it back in that. I exchanged it for a new watch. I came in one week. Unnecessary repair and charge? A brand new watch stopped working, went to the store and in the Fossil store the women working said the battery was fine and that it was most likely a movement issue. Since I'm currently under warranty, she said that it would only cost me shipping. Get the watch back two weeks later with a bill for $20, a form saying the battery was replaced, and the entire back was scratched (actually nicked, looks like either the metal is soft or they just smashed it) and the back (it's engraved) is crooked. I don't understand how it could've come back so damaged, but I'm furious because it was supposed to be a gift. read more

Repair seems to be good. I've only had it a few hours so far. Had a Skagen watch with an automatic wind that stopped functioning properly, and the leather band was badly worn. It was still under warranty for the wind, but not the band. I talked to a rep who told me that I could mail the watch in, and that I could be sent a new band to replace myself to save money. I specified those instructions, however, they were not followed. I received the watch with a new band attached, and a fee of $36.50 for the band replacement (with shipping the total was $45). I contacted Metro and told them my story. They waived the entire invoice as a one time courtesy, and I was told that in the future, a rep can order a new band for me online, and that would be the easiest and cheapest way to go about it. After replacing the battery myself, I damaged the back case cover on my Fossil watch model ES3075 while trying to reinstall it. The cover is a small piece that presses on easily (if you have the right tool), but is normally sold only as a component in an assembly including the entire case. As an accommodation, Metro offered to replace and install the cover for free if I paid for shipping the watch to their Dallas facility. The watch came back in a week cleaned and as good as new. I "HAD" a watch from Fossil that I thought sending it to switch the glass because it was a little scratched, them I sent the watch to Metro Service and it took a while to send it back, after 4 days I've received the arm came out, then I sent it back and they returned back, and after 1 week the watch's background just unglued/come out, I sent it back and the representative said that they were going so replace for a new watch of the same model. After a few weeks, I received a totally different watch, then I sent it back and I got the same wrong watch again...
