Metro Service Center $45 Band Replacement. Less then 1 yr after replacement,
    Tony J.

I took my watch in to the Fossil store to replace the band sometime in 07/2014. The staff did their job and sent it in to Metro Service Center. I didn't receive an order number so, thank goodness it made it back from TX. It came back to me looking very sharp and I was pleased because they not only replaced the band but the crystal. crown and case. All for $45. My watch has lasted the test of time for 5 yrs before I needed a repair. Unfortunately, this new band doesn't look like it will last as long. A year has not gone by and the band is already loosing its cooler. It looks like the result of an inferior quality replacement part.

The links to attach the band to the face were completely stripped and bent.

My stainless steel watchband broke on my Fossil. I went everywhere to get it fixed and "Nope, can't fix that." I finally called the manufacturer and they suggested Metro Service Center. For $45 I got a brand new band and got to save my most favorite watch from the trash. Thank you Metro Service Center!

I thought the second hand is supposed to be stuck to the other ones not floating around the watch and the service guy was BM031
    Rodney Charles S.

Just got my diesel watch back after the service open it up in the second hand is off and floating around inside my watch nice job!

Within seconds of attempting the repair, they broke it. What I don't understand is why they didn't take their own experience and profession into account and simply decline the repair if it was that likely to fail. As a mechanic myself, I know what I will and won't break. And if I advise a customer to do something and it breaks because of my actions, I take responsibility for it. They did polish the ring and it looks nice, but that's about the only positive I can point to. Instead, they wanted to charge me $70 to fix the damage they caused, then recommended adding a shank for over $200, with the ring not ready until the next day. That's not accountability, that's passing the cost onto the customer. Overall, poor judgment, poor handling of the situation, and a really frustrating experience. I won't be coming back.
