Jorge H. came and inspected my furnace - plus the rest of the heating/cooling system - at no charge and gave me a great deal on a new system when my home warranty wouldn't replace my dangerous, old, faulty furnace. He walked me through the different brands, and who had the best warranty. David and the rest of the Metz crew worked diligently over a day and a half to replace the entire system, and got parts in and out of the tight spaces in my older residence without damaging anything. Plus, they replaced all the vent covers, a section of the vents, and cleaned the vents at a great price - and cleaned up everything afterward. We have always had trouble with getting the upstairs nice and cool. My dad had called Metz to come and see if they could fix it and Pedro came out and explained to him what they could do for him. He has used Metz a couple times before. Unfortunately, he passed away in December and my mother had called them and notified them that the work won't be getting done. A couple months ago my mother told me that we'd have guest staying with us in the summer and I told her we can't have guest staying out here in the Inland Empire in the summer with an air conditioner that barely cools down the guest room... we have to call Metz back! I called Metz and Norma instantly remembered my dad and what had happened to him. It showed that she truly cares about her customers. She told me Pedro would have to come out and give another quote because some time had passed since his last visit. He came out and very briefly explained how he can get the upstairs cooler. He gave me two suggestions that involved either re-sealing and tying down our current ductwork or by redoing the ductwork completely. He showed me pictures of how badly the ductwork in our attic was. He also wanted to install a new air distribution box and make it so some of the rooms don't share air with each other. I decided to do the replacement ductwork, but still had some questions for Pedro. I called and texted him many times and he always responded very promptly to any of my questions and concerns. He was very helpful. When the day came for the installation Hayden, Carlos and Miguel came out to do the work. They were all very nice and professional. I was not there to greet them but was there when they finished the work. Hayden had explained everything they had done and guided me through with pictures of the new ductwork and pointing out each room. It was all done according to what Pedro explained besides making our guestroom duct just a tad bit bigger since the room gets the poorest airflow. He also explained to me how our blower fan was in bad shape and how I might consider replacing it. I asked him for a price range which he did not have off the top of his head, but he contacted Norma who got the price. I agreed to the replacement. They finished cleaning the cooling coils and the blower fan as best as they could and then Hayden and I tested the system. The air was blowing A LOT better than it was before. Once I was satisfied, the three left everything the way it was before nice and clean. A couple weeks later Jessica called to schedule the replacement blower fan. When it came time to install it, they were a little late on the arrival timeframe. I had called to find out an estimated time that the tech would arrive, and David answered and told me he'd find out and call back. He got back to me stating that I was next and that I'd receive a text when the tech was on the way. I did receive the text and saw that Danny was my tech. When Danny got to my house, he realized he forgot the blower fan. He told me he'd be back in thirty minutes with it. Mistakes happen so I let it slide. When he came back, he was very knowledgeable and helpful in more ways than one. He really explained how the air conditioning worked, explained about filter replacements, and suggestions on how to keep my system clean. He also told me my car smelt badly of anti-freeze and I should get it checked out. I have no clue what anti-freeze smells like, so I just took his word for it. I got it checked out the next day and he was right. There was a leak in one of my tubes, so I had to get it replaced. THANK YOU, DANNY! I waited to post this review so I could test out the air on some of the hotter 100+ degree days. I was very skeptical if it would work or not, but everything seems to be fine. Besides some hot spots in certain areas of the house, the rooms feel nice and cool. Overall, I am very satisfied with Metz and would suggest them to anyone who is having trouble with their air conditioning. Again, shoutout to Norma and David who probably don't get enough praise. Norma for her memory and her care for the customer and David for really taking the time to help me with the answers to my questions. read more

I Just had our Trane air conditioner unit serviced by Nathan Metz. He was on time and listened to our concerns. He checked out the condenser and blowers which were making noise and explained that the system was working ok and provided a written diagnosis of the system. He checked the noise and explained that the condenser made more noise when in heat mode he adjusted the settings on our thermostat and provided still photos and videos of our system. Nathan took the time to explain how the entire system operates. I am very pleased with the service provided and rate Nathan as excellent. I recommend Metz air if service is needed. read more

Metz responded and gave us a fair quote plus walked us through the process. We had Metz do a complete system replacement with new Trane furnace, AC, duct work, air scrubbers as well a split ductless system for an office. We can't recommend Metz highly enough. Their attention to detail was simply amazing. This replaced a 17 year old system and the house, which we only bought last year, had that musty "old-house" smell. Not even 24 hours after the new system has been turned on, that musty smell is completely gone. Jacob, Murray and Short Stuff (Anthony) were awesome, their workmanship is highly commendable and they should be proud of the work they do. We simply can't thank them enough. This review is based upon work performed March7th and 8th 2019. Upstairs installation for a new AC unit was required. We had used Metz for downstairs AC unit in 2011 with a successful outcome. Serviceman Jorge Hurtado assisted me to decide exactly what work was needed and the appropriate units to purchase. The installers were Armando and a young gentleman, David. They demonstrated professional workmanship and courtesy. In particular, I appreciated David's explanations to me about the operation of the equipment as well as clearly answering my additional questions and concerns without "man speaking" to me. Very friendly and polite. I got three opinions on my AC repairs. Metz said I needed a $787 circuit board because mine was "totally fried" Second guy I called said I needed a $2000 compressor and the circuit board was fine but needed a new fuse. The third guy I called went through a few fuses on the circuit board then took the system apart and put it back together "exactly as it came from the manufacturer" which does coincide with what he put on the invoice. After that its running like a champ for $190 which was just the cost of his time to figure out the problem for an hour and half of work. Metz did call me to follow up on this review and they were again very friendly and explained their process and OEM parts prices so I decided to soften the review as a courtesy to them. read more

This year, both of our old evaporative coil units are in need of replacing and we ordered new ones from Metz. We first used Metz back in 2008 when we had to replace our home's original A/C and heating units. They offered the best prices on Trane products (Home Depot, Lowe's and others advised they could not match their prices). We bought a Trane 13 seer unit for our 2-story home and it has worked very well (great A/C and heating). We had Metz come out twice since then for routine maintenance before summer. The staff is so friendly and they are honest about what you need to do and what can wait. We referred them to my aunt in Orange in 2016 and she ended up purchasing a central A/C system from them also (after obtaining several other companies' quotes), and was very happy with their service and products. I would give Metz Air 10 stars if I could! Three years ago we were looking to replace our old broken air and heating system. We received several quotes from reliable companies (or so we thought) until our friends suggested we use the company they loved...Metz Air Control. Jon Metz came out to our home and spent quite a bit of time educating us on what we needed and didn't need. We realized just how much the other companies were up selling us and went with Metz Air Control because Jon saved us almost $10,000! Seriously. The installation was effortless on our part and the installers were personable, efficient and respectful of our home. Now three years later on one of the hottest days of the year our a/c shut off, blew a fuse! It was late on a Saturday night so we had to call one of those 24 hr emergency places who came out to help since Metz was closed. They were quick to change the fuse which lasted a day but sadly only put a bandaid on the problem. After getting a hold of Metz Air during their office hours, Jon Metz came out right away and correctly diagnosed our problem...RATS! Ohhh the bane of our existence when you have fruit trees in your garden. He fixed it immediately, replacing the chewed wire and putting in a new fuse. Now I'm sitting here in the cool of my house all thanks to Jon. What truly made an impact on us is that one of the owners made the effort to take care of us. So many companies out there, once they've made the sale, tend to forget about you. Not Metz Air Control! He called back quickly and then was here the same day even though I'm sure they're slammed with phone calls during this heat wave. A few years back, my old AC compressor was not working. Called other guys (sorry forgot their name). They took my money with stuff I didn't need and the thing ended up breaking again soon after. Called Metz, they came out told me my old compressor has one foot in grave. I couldn't afford a replacement at the time, so they were nice enough to do a temp fix since it was so hot. Replaced the AC compressor with a state of the art new one through Metz. The following year, a @#!%&+$ rat chewed up the wires in my new compressor.
