Wonderful experience from beginning to end. We even got to experience some epic belly dancing. Delicious and authentic. Impeccable service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was great too with the lively music and the mood lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10/10 experience.

First time at La Vie. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a beautiful place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were there for lunch. We had a good server, he gave us some good suggestions on what to order. We had the lamb, delicious! So so good. We will definitely be back.

What was supposed to be a "fancy" dining experience, turned out to be a relaxed and authentic Greek/Lebanese experience at LaVie Restaurant. Not sure what it is about these, shopping plaza restaurants, but the more I go to them, the more I am reminded "don't judge a book by its cover" and LaVie was another example of this. The food was amazing, the desserts were top notch and I would bet the drinks weren't half as bad even though I didn't partake of any libations on this visit. The service was ok, but our waiter tried his best, as he maintained what appeared to me, the entire restaurant and the guests that evening. I hope I enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the food. LaVie, I'll be back!

This place is a true hidden gem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is intimate with comfortable, well-spaced seating that makes it perfect for a relaxed night out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the mixed grill, which came with a steak kabob, chicken kabob, and ground beef kabob every bite was incredibly delicious, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. The rice was excellent too, easily holding its own alongside the mains. The service was top tier. Our waiter possibly the owner or a manager was extremely professional, attentive, and helpful, offering great suggestions that clearly showed pride in the food and the restaurant. Overall, an outstanding experience. I'll definitely be back and only wish they had more locations.

We love this spot! It's a bit hidden, but if you find yourself in this area, you should definitely check it out! The bar area is stunning. It's trendy, upscale, sexy and vibrant. The Saturday evening bartender is awesome, and can mix up any cocktail you're feeling. They have all the unique liquors too. This time around we did a cocktail tasting - which was fun. You get 4 different cocktails for $28, and can tell the bartender what you like too. It feels a bit like a Lebanese restaurant in Queens, NY. It's quite large inside, very authentic and a bit NYC like. The food is very good! The La Vie chicken was outstanding. Their lamb dishes are also amazing! I highly recommend their salads too. They also have belly dancers on Saturday evening!

The whole package experience. The food, the music, the atmosphere, and the hospitality is top notch. If you can't decide what you want, try the Mixed Grill. Chicken, fillet mignon, and Kofta kebabs. Served with a delicious rice pilaf and dipping sauces. I noticed a lot of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options on the menu. Just ask the wait staff and they'll accommodate. It's a gem establishment.

Love this spot - food is very flavorful and good quality Mediterranean. We were in on a Friday night and were treated to a packed house and a dinner performance by a belly dancer- great energy. Everyone in the room was enjoying themselves. Colby took great care of us. The restaurant has a cool design with intricate paneling over the bar area. Good for families or date night. Location is very unassuming off of Palm Beach Lakes, feels like a bit of a hidden gem.

Fun environment, good food, friendly staff, great place for families and dates. La Vie features lots of delicious Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine. There's both vegetarian and meat lovers options. On holidays, they have specials and there's always belly dancing performances at night. This location has a beautiful bar area and plenty of table and booth seating. There's also an outside dining area. They have unique cocktails that come beautifully decorated. We had a veggie mezzo appetizer platter to start. It comes with hummus, babaganoush, yogurt, 4 grape leaves and a light tomato kale salad. It's a good way to try different flavors and find something for everyone. The portions are good for two people but are a little small for 4. My favorite was the babaganoush. Then we shared a mixed grill for two and a lamb chops entree. It comes with chicken, filet mignon, lamb kafta and a lot of seasoned rice. The garlic sauce it comes with is delightful. All the meats were juicy and tender. The filet mignon was the best. The chops were a set of 4. It was nicely charred on the outside with a smoky flavor but quite rare on the inside. Very tasty though. The seasoned onions and garlic oil were perfect compliments to the meat. Get the Arabic coffee, it's dark, bold and great way to start or end your meal. The Kunafa dessert is something I dream about. Light flaky outside, warm soft cheesy inside, topped with crunchy pistachio - delicious! Our lovely belly dancer performer did an amazing job with fire balancing on her head. Will be back for more.

I had a blast there. At some point a dancer came out, she was really great and brought the room to life. The lamb chops were absolutely delicious. My drink was not my favorite but some others from my table had some good choices. Our server was also really great and attentive. Overall I had a really great experience and would go back.

Came for dinner on NYE and im so happy I did. The food was amazing (my husband's first time having mediterranean food and he loved it), we had the mixed grilled for 4 and it did not disappoint. The meat was well seasoned and tender, the rice was so fluffy and delicious. Plus the many appitizers we ordered came out quick and packed with flavor, the hot fresh bread and eggplant spread was phenomenal, and the salad with crispy pita bread was beyond. We also enjoyed the live belly dancer during our meal overall this place did not disappoint and we will definitely be back. P.s. There was a used bandaid on the base of the seat on our booth which skeeved me out but when I brought it to the waitress attn she immediately took care of it and apologized.

    Baba Ganoush...best ever!

Crazy good cocktails and super delicious Lebanese/Moroccan food. If you are in the West Palm Beach area, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to La Vie. It's off the beaten path of downtown, but just a short Uber from most hotels around the airport. The Baba Ganoush and seared Lamb Chops here were to die for. Order the lamb chops rare - by the time you get in to them, the carry over temp will cool to a perfect medium rare. Packed with so much flavor, kissed with smoky char!! Baba Ganoush here is some of the best I've had. Giant flavors, pleasant decor, and outstanding service here. Belly dancers on certain nights and hours too for live entertainment! Super fun place.

This is my second time here and let me say this is very very disappointing. The first time was ok. We went with a group of friends, for her birthday day, so we ordered a lot of food. (10 of us) Just to make a point it took approximately 40 minutes to get our food to us. It wasn't busy for being a Friday night. Which that has something to say. There were about 4 couples in the place. So for starters there was one server in the restaurant and a few others who were able to help him with drinks and serving food. They brought us our waters, introduced themselves and walked away. It took a bit for himto return, but once they came back, we had the menus and were able to order some drinks. Once he came back With our drinks, we were able to order. No one ordered appetizers. Two of us ordered appetizers to come with our entrées, however they came out before hand as appetizers. So now we had to wait for the food with the appetizers on the table. Once the food finally came, we all needed another round of drinks. Our waters were empty, and some of us wanted another round of Alcohol, which would've been nice for them to make some more money. Our server was nowhere to be found. We couldn't find anyone none of the busboys everybody was missing. We all ate with our drinks, empty and lack of alcohol, which would've been nice since it was a birthday party so we could've had a bit more fun.. It was their loss of money. Our entrée was chicken Shawarma, it was cold and literally a pile of meat that had no flavor. It just tasted like salted chicken. We had their dessert photo attached. It was the worst that we had ever eaten. It was burnt dry in edible, and there was nobody around to let them know. It was nice of them to give our birthday girl, a free piece of cheesecake, but that was pretty much. The only thing that was positive. The belly dancer was very beautiful and we were able to enjoy our time with that. We all try to make the best that we could so that our friend could enjoy her birthday . It was really hard. Overall, we agreed that this was a place. None of us would go back to.

Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were delicious too; strong, creative, and exactly what I wanted for a chill night out. I was having a great time, enjoying my meal and drinks, when disaster struck right at the end. I had literally just finished eating when a huge roach crawled right by my feet on the couch area. It was massive and absolutely disgusting. I jumped out of my seat so fast, thankfully I was done with my food, or I probably would've lost it completely. I didn't scream (which is a miracle because I definitely would have at home), but it was such a gross turn-off. I get that this is Lake Worth and Florida has its bugs, but come on, a roach that big in a dining establishment? That's not okay. You really need to step up the pest control. Also, the bathrooms could use some serious help. They're outdated and feel neglected, definitely in need of an update or renovation to match the rest of the cool vibe. Overall, the sushi shines, the drinks are spot-on, and the atmosphere is fun... but that roach ruined the ending for me, and the bathrooms don't help. Fix those things, and this place could be amazing. Hoping it was just a one-off bad night!

No real tables but honestly we sat on the couches looking at the bar, and turned out perfect for cocktails and app, and enjoying my beautiful company (my wife). Out waitress was cool, kept apologizing for how busy it was .....again 1/2 full. We were thinking there would be a mixologist there. Nope, just another waitress who never smiled once making drinks. And $21 drinks that seemed a bit light on the pour (as least for my ol fashioned. We did order a smoked prosciutto burrata app that was quite good! The guy placing music was really nice although for a few songs the volume got turned up and you couldn't hardly talk to your date, but that was temporary. So it was like $80 for 2 drinks and one app. With the 'absence of the speakeasy', mehhh

Another dear friend of mine had an upcoming birthday and would be away on a cruise so we opted to dine here to celebrate. We sat outside on the covered patio and enjoyed lupper. We shared a variety of items and started with the Parker House bread which is paired with an insanely delicious caramelized onion butter and a trio of tuna poke tacos. Both of these appetizers were superb! The billowy soft roll blanketed in the onion butter was dreamy and the tuna inside the tacos was well flavored and very fresh. Moreover, the combination of textures: the crispy taco shell with soft tuna harmonized extremely well. After we enjoyed the starters, we shared the seasonal chopped salad. The vinaigrette was magnificent and the sweet potatoes were roasted to perfection and danced delightfully with the cranberries and goat cheese. Finally, we shared the Clubhouse California sandwich and fries which we had the kitchen split for us. The sandwich featured toasted multigrain bread with a grilled chicken breast, gruyère, avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a sriracha aïoli. We requested this be held on the side and served along with a side of honey mustard. Unfortunately, there was an error and this didn't occur. I absolutely detest mayonnaise which is why I preferred it be served on the side just in case I could taste it. Luckily, I didn't mind the aïoli being I didn't taste any mayonnaise. It also had a gentle kick due to the sriracha that paired well with the accompanying ingredients. We washed down our meals with club soda paired with lime and good ole fashioned H20. I had mentioned to our server Morgan that it was my friend's birthday so after our meal she and her team brought out a hot brownie with vanilla ice cream and a candle and sang "Happy Birthday." It was such a special touch and very appreciated. Our dining experience was delightful and I will definitely return. The inside of the restaurant along with the bar is beautiful offering great views and the restroom was very clean. There is some walking involved from the parking lot to the dining room, but valet parking is an option.

All three of us ordered the Bistro burgers with fries (which was the Wednesday special) $15 includes the burger, fries, and a beer. The burger was juicy and delicious. Fries were crispy and hot. Excellent combo, especially for the price. I wish they had sweet potatoes fries as an option. The coke I had originally ordered was flat so I had an Arnold Palmer instead. Server was greeted us with a friendly smile. We watched the beautiful sunset as we enjoyed our food and the fun event.

Very disappointing and unacceptable experience at Mary Lou's in West Palm Beach…read more The prices were already extremely high, and then the final bill included an added 5% operational fee on top of an automatic 20% gratuity. For a restaurant at this price point, these charges should be clearly explained before the bill arrives, not left as an unexpected surprise for customers. The restaurant was also uncomfortably cold throughout the entire evening, which took away from what should have been an enjoyable dining experience. What was most upsetting, however, was the treatment by the bouncer. He was rude and physically shoved me without any reason. No customer should ever be handled in that manner. It was inappropriate, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. For the amount charged, I expected a much higher level of service, transparency, and respect. Instead, the evening felt overpriced, uncomfortable, and hostile. I will not be returning and would strongly encourage management to address both the hidden fees and the conduct of their staff.

You may experience it once, or multiple times, depending on how comfortable you are with strictly valet parking and, in particular, the Palm Beach prices, but the food, the cocktails, and the service are on point. For as long as I have lived in the West Palm Beach area, the building that now houses Mary Lou's was a bait-and-tackle store with a respectable craft beer selection. The structure has been in existence since at least the 1960s, by my knowledge, and the owners of what has become Mary Lou's have kept the exterior aesthetic to make it appear like an old but unassuming store on Southern Boulevard, but once you're inside, you realize you're in a completely different universe. Once you valet your car and walk inside, you're greeted by ship-like, polished wooden walls and intimate lighting as you head to the greeting desk to check in. Yes, please reserve a table in advance. Once checked in, you're escorted through a set of doors into a darkened hallway before a circular, circus-like lounge area and bar appear that radiates 70s vibes, not too far from what you may watch on the show Palm Royale from Apple TV. After being escorted to our table, we enjoyed a myriad of lovely cocktails and small and large bites with excellent service. I enjoyed cocktails such as the Olive Ave and Old Soul: the former was a filthy martini made with love and understanding, the latter was a bourbon-based powerhouse with applejack, Barenjager, and mango. I also ordered off the menu and enjoyed a Paper Plane and an Old Fashioned. Both were fantastic bourbon cocktails that the bar made well. The Beef Carpaccio Salad was wicked good with the goat cheese brulee and pine nut butter, while the maple pork belly skewers were solid. The crispy octopus was excellent with the fav bean puree, while the grilled lamb chops were piquant. The Banana Creme Brulee for dessert was very good, shaped like an actual banana with a chocolate shell that evoked Andy Warhol. Everything we were served was meticulously prepared and exquisitely delicious. The service was prompt and accommodating. We rarely waited long for drinks, for additional items off the menu, the bar accommodated us well with different drink selections -- we were a party of six and didn't have delays per my observation. The drawbacks are pricing and exclusive valet parking. Most cocktails run at least $20, and the small and large bites are priced between $30 and $45, with some slightly lower and some slightly higher. You can easily spend $75 to $100 before tip. Therefore, this serves as either a special-occasion spot or a regular-occasion spot for those who can afford it -- definitely Palm Beachy in that regard. The on-site parking spots for Mary Lou's are reserved for valet; self-parking is not readily available, as I have observed. If you're concerned about valet parking, consider either coming with a large group and carpooling or using Uber. After 10 PM at least on Saturdays is when the lounge turns into a dance club with the lights darkening, the spotlights shining, reflecting off the mirror bar, with dancers and DJ spinning music. It can be a lot of fun to take part if you make a reservation at the right time to experience both sides of the establishment.

The bartender was easy to talk to and gave a couple suggestions without making it feel like a sales pitch. Both dishes came out pretty quickly even though the place started filling up during happy hour. I liked the overall pace of the service since nobody rushed me to order more once I finished eating.
