had such a great experience at Tulum! The place is very clean and modern with an awesome vibe--lively music playing in the background made it feel really fun and welcoming. The prices were reasonable for the quality you get, which was a big plus. Our waiter, Jaime, was excellent; he was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I ordered the fajitas, and they were absolutely delicious--flavorful, well-prepared, and generously portioned. Overall, this spot really impressed me, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some Mexican food here in Wellington. Definitely will be back.

    Chipotle chimichanga

I came here for a family member's birthday on a Tuesday. The ambiance is nice and not too crowded. I tried the chipotle chicken chimichanga. I asked for the chipotle sauce on the side because I thought it would be spicy, but the chipotle sauce here was very mild and barely tasted like real chipotle sauce. I didn't like the chipotle sauce as much as I thought I would. I usually love chipotle sauce everywhere else I go, so I was pretty surprised by how different this one was. I also asked for a side of the poblano sauce and they said they ran out of it. Normally this would be fine but I was disappointed because they originally took my order with the Poblano sauce on the side and just never brought it out (or told me they ran out) until after I asked where the sauce was. They were nice enough to make me my own sauce but it was so spicy and full of chillis that none of us could eat it. A few people tried and could literally feel their stomachs burning. We had to order milk to calm down their stomachs. Overall, my chimichanga and the rice were flavorful and cooked well. I just wish they had better sauces that could go with the dishes. They also do give free chips and salsa, but neither of the salsas were my favorite. I would have preferred a more creamy salsa or sauce as a dip. Since we went on taco Tuesday, they had a deal for some of their basic tacos. You can get 3 tacos for $4 each, which is a pretty good deal. The only thing to keep it in mind is that it is a very basic taco and doesn't have the cool toppings like their special tacos. I would say it is probably worth it to just spend $1 more per taco and get three tacos for $16-17 if you can get more toppings in their special tacos. The con about their special tacos is that they are three of the same taco. They do not let you mix and match tacos unless you are choosing from their basic tacos. Also they charge an automatic tip for parties larger than 6 people. Just something to keep in mind in case you would like to bring a large group.

    Birria quesadilla & ceviche.

I had a lunch date here on a rainy Friday afternoon. We arrived around 1pm and the restaurant had maybe four other patrons at the time. We were seated at a table in the back close to the bar. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. He brought out chips and salsa right before we placed drink orders, two shots of don julio, a strawberry supernova and a mango margarita. The chips were just ok. No taste of salt or lime. I wasn't a fan, but the salsa was ok. My strawberry supernova was disgusting. I honestly hated the drink and can't really pinpoint what did it for me but nothing about it. Was tasty at all. Somewhat resembled cough syrup. My date enjoyed his mango margarita. We ordered the ceviche as an appetizer. It took a really long time to come out, but it was super fresh and flavorful. For an entrée, I chose the Birria quesadilla. The flavor of both the quesadillas and the consommé were amazing. I would definitely order these again. Portion size was large enough for me to have leftovers to take home. My overall dining experience was nice and I would return.

AMAZING MEXICAN FOOD! The best Birria Tacos I have ever had, hands down. I wish they had one of these in Miami! The Toasted Coconut Mojito was very good; it was fresh and strong. The Street Corn comes with 2 cobs and is very tasty (can be shared). The Birria Tacos were absolutely amazing. They were full of flavor, packed with the perfect amount of meat, and overall delicious. I highly recommend to give these a try. I would drive all the way back up here just to have Tulum's food again. The restaurant itself was decorated very nicely and made you feel like you were in Mexico. They also had a live singer which was very nice to have. The service was good and our waiter was very friendly!

Lovely place with great food. We started off with the street corn which was a little different but still good. The mango habanero wings were so good, definitely my favorite wings by far. For my entree, I had the burrito bowl with chicken, it was delicious and I loved the different flavors. My boyfriend had the birria tacos, it was a little different since the taco shells were made of cheese. Definitely a good place for date night

One of our favorite places to enjoy! Great service, fantastic drinks. We dug right in forgot to show you the Mexican Street Corn. A must get! We come here again and again. Sunday brunch is available and bottomless mimosas. Run, don't walk. You're welcome!!

The restaurant is small and parking is limited. Staff was very friendly, They serve breakfast here all day. My husband had one of their breakfast specials, while I had something from the lunch side of their menu. He got their "Georgia Breakfast". It had two biscuits with sausage and cheese topped with sausage gravy along with two over easy eggs and grits. He said the biscuits were wonderful -- nice and soft inside. We were surprised to learn they were not house made, but from a food service company, Cheney Brothers. I got their crispy chicken club sandwich. The all white meat chicken was breaded and fried. It was very good. Came with a few strips of bacon, a large slice of red tomato, and a lettuce leaf. The bacon could have been a tad more well done. And the bun -- called a Kaiser roll on the menu -- was more like a hamburger bun. I didn't eat the bread. Got potato salad as my side. It was eggy and slightly sweet from the pickle relish. Good, but not my favorite. I had to get a biscuit to go -- just to try one -- and ate it in the car with the provided butter as my "dessert". Glad we got to try this place. Definitely a good option for breakfast. Although their pot roast special of the day looked appealing, too .

No stars Review for Skillets…read more This was a very disappointing experience and a terrible start to our family day. We waited over 45 minutes outside despite there being plenty of empty tables. Our party included two children and three adults. Once seated, we waited another 10 minutes before even getting coffee, and only after asking. The food was poorly prepared and tasteless. * The French toast was advertised as generously dipped in eggs and made with sourdough bread. It was dry, bland, and did not resemble sourdough at all. * The biscuits were hard, and the gravy was unidentifiable and did not resemble southern-style food in any way. * The corned beef hash looked raw and unappetizing and completely ruined our child meal. * The potatoes were absolutely awful. We had planned our day around visiting Lion Country Safari, so after investing nearly two hours between waiting and service, leaving was not an option. We left still hungry and frustrated, needing to find lunch elsewhere but short on time. Our waitress was pleasant and absolutely deserved the 25 percent tip we left her. However, service overall was disorganized. At one point she bumped into our table and did not even realize she was our assigned server. I had to explain that we had been waiting long enough and needed our children order taken immediately. To make matters worse, when we were leaving, a staff member exited the ladies restroom, which smelled terrible, and walked straight out without washing her hands. She passed directly in front of us. Between the excessive wait, poor food quality, lack of attentiveness, and hygiene concerns, this experience was unacceptable. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Enjoying a sunny day with our best friends from med school and residency who left the winters of PA behind to live in Florida. Celebrating life, family and friendship. Ordered a Mediterranean Skillet with skillet potatoes and a sunny side up egg. (You know I already looked at the quite extensive menu the night before.) My hubby ordered the same to match me. Our friends got a My Big Fat Greek Omelet and a Heathy Omelet with onions added. The skillet potatoes are more like a scalloped potato casserole. Milk, cream, cream cheese, scallions and shredded potatoes. So rich and creamy. The Mediterranean Skillet adds grilled red onions, mushrooms, peppers, Kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes and a generous sprinkle of goat cheese. Topped with two eggs, it is decadently delicious. Bread options included scones, toast or biscuits. Our table tried all of them. My scone was so delicious. I only ate half because my skillet was so delicious and so filling. My friend loved her biscuit and my hubby loved his scone. Sophia was great. She kept checking on us with a warm smile and refills of coffee. Lots of parking on a Sunday morning. A great breakfast for four. Very reasonable prices for fresh skillets and omelets. Hopefully we will be back on another visit to the Sunshine State.
