The crew picked up their belongings and left the site with no notice and no explanation as to why. The owner could not clearly explain why a new drain was added to the cost, and their plumber who said it was needed would not communicate with me as to the reason for replacement. Overall lack of clear communication and general disappointment at how the crew abandoned the job. Would not recommend this team. read more

Ordered flooring for a room we are remodeling in our home and were super happy when we ordered. However, when it came time to pick up we called and said that the price for the flooring we had already paid in full for had now gone up. So they said they decided to return our order when it arrived. I don't understand why a product I already paid for was returned and I was never given a call about it. Nobody ever apologized for this and now I have to go get my money back and delay my project. read more

I would give this company negative stars. They ordered the wrong tile, even though it was a reorder of the exact same tile I had already purchased. They refused to take responsibility for the mistake, and get me my tile in time to complete my project without another huge delay. It was possible, but it would have cost them something. The only people who pay for their mistakes are the customers. The manager was awful, rude and smug, and completely dismissive. Please avoid this business. read more

Over all, we are very happy with our partial master bathroom remodel. Pilar was very patient, accommodating, and helpful. We had a little bit of misunderstanding but I understand how busy she is so it's not hard to make mistakes. She referred me to R & B tile installation. Ruben, Ovi, and Pablo did a wonderful job with the tile installation. Javier and his son did the shower hot mop and that was also great. It only took them 5 days RJ demo, prep, and installation. We purchased our own tub and shower glass enclosure (waiting for the glass still). My husband installed all the new lighting . I would recommend this place of business. Im a contractor that probably dose not look the part. I went in to special order 5 chrome metal strips that only could be bought at a tile store. Daniel, a sales person that works there was helping me out, when a very rude lady with bleached hair rudely interupted and told him not to help me and instead do something else.. There was only me and one other person looking at tile, there was 3 employees there.. she told me to go to Miramar to find what I needed..I bit my tongue and walked out,, there is something wrong with this lady thinking she can brush off someone like they dont matter.. Very disgusted with this individual.. If it where a guy the outcome would have been different.. Just called and asked if they carry a certain size Schluter (tile edge trim), and the lady that answered said she doesn't have the time to check sizes and for me to drive down there and look for it myself. We recently had two bathroom conversions (tub to shower) and the floors, along with the floor on a third bathroom and the kitchen floor, all done with the same tile. The quote we received was reasonable. Our first experience with CV Tile and Stone was with Mayra Chavez. She was and is professional, knowledgeable, patient and charming. The team who performed the work at our home consisted of Ruben, Pablo and OB, who were also professional and knowledgeable, and gave great advice. I had them install a complete kitchen, cabinets and granite. From the start I had issues with the quality of the workmanship. We were shown one product in the showroom and something else was delivered. I shouldn't have accepted the cabinets from China, and assemble in my garage. I can't state all the issues here, needless to say we still deal with the odd hidges, missaligned doors and drawers, and the poor follow up service to address these issues. The quality of the products and the workmanship of the installers is very good. The prices of materials and installation on most things seemed reasonable. However the communication between store workers and installers was nonexistent. And, incorrect supplies were ordered when the correct item was lying on the desk. Patterns for tile that were discussed in store did not make it to installers. Incorrect amounts of flooring were ordered and priced. It was an ok experience...but make sure to follow up and check everything. read more

This store might have everything you might need and price is reasonable but I wouldnt ever recomend this store to no one. Before you get any work done by these people make sure you look them up under www.cslb.ca.gov. There license is suspended. The installers dont even have licence as well. I got work done by these people and the workmanship was poor. I just want people to be aware and dont make the same mistake I made. Also make sure if you do get work done you make a contract with them i made the mistake of making just a verbal agreement. read more

I bought all the tile for my downstairs and bathrooms from Chula Vista Tile and Stone (About 1200 Square Feet). We also bought some glass tiles to refinish a fireplace and have a small accent at the entry way. We also purchased all the grout and everything else needed for the install. We worked with Willy who was great and took his time with us even though we went there several times. The tile turned out beautiful - it has been almost a year and i am still so happy with the quality. Chula Vista Tile and Stone does not have their own installer but we took their recommendation of Pablo and Rueben who did a very clean job. They were in and out in less than a week.
