The worst Mexican I have had in a while, I didn't know it was possible to mess it up this much. Ordered fish tacos got shrimp tacos. Worst water, nasty, tasted like they got it from the bottom of a bathtub. Rice was terrible too. Stay as clear as you can from this place as you can. read more

My girlfriend and I have been coming here since this place was in the publix plaza. When they were there, everything was fantastic. The food was consistently good. However, they have switched locations to across the street near pizzavola. The food is inconsistent in taste, temperature, and texture. For example, my girlfriend and I ordered to-go today. Let it be known we arrived right as the food was finished. I ordered the Cali burrito and the Mexico's burritos and my girlfriend ordered the street tacos with a side of rice. The food was lukewarm at best, the Mexico's burritos that usually came with sauce and cheese on top were completely bare and had a nasty, orange tint to them, the Cali burrito was nothing short of a mess as it was so poorly rolled I had to eat it with a fork and knife, and (partially my fault for not checking) there was no rice that I paid $2 for. Long story short, sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's bad. I miss the old Mexico's!!! Salsa's is the new spot now :( read more

Wanted to try something new in Cocoa Beach, so we came here for burritos on a Saturday afternoon. Initially, I thought the prices looked a little high but the food was excellent and well worth the price. I always prefer ground beef over steak since "quick serve" steak is usually chewy and tough. Not here! The steak is very tender and flavorful. The tortilla was great too. Moist and pliable, but never tore open. Lastly, their homemade salsas are very good and they also have a nice assortment of bottled hot sauce. read more

Truly enjoyed the food. I had the barbacoa tacos. They were very tasty- should have grabbed some of the sauces to put on them though. I tried the rice and really liked that as well. My daughter really loved the salsa that came with the chips. She finished that off later in the hotel room. The entire family left satisfied & full. I recommend giving it a try. Quick and delicious place for amazing small tacos. About as authentic as it gets in the area with great choices for meats and fish! The fish tacos, barbacoa and marinated pork are delicious. The tortillas are fresh and the homemade guacamole and pico are wonderful. A great place for a quick bite, lunch and dinner. The only downside (and it's a small one) is the price. The tacos are $2.29/a piece and small, so if your trying to feed a large group, it's pricey. The taco plate, with (2) tacos, rice and beans is $8. Would be great if they had a few more plate options, combinations or something for larger appetites that you don't have to piece together from a-la-carte items. Overall, I highly recommend it if your looking for great food, casual atmosphere and pretty authentic Mexican food. Its worth it. Yummy! read more

Absolutely wonderful! I ordered the fish tacos and a pork gordita. It was a REAL gordita! And they were REAL fish tacos!! So many times we have ordered these items and received poor substitutes. You will not experience that here! House-handmade corn tortillas! My husband ordered the whole fish and it was delicious! To die for, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside! I moved from Texas 7 years ago, where I was spoiled with authentic, delicious Mexican food everywhere I turned. But when I moved here, I was very disappointed with everything I came across here in Florida and locally in the Brevard area, places like El Charro, El Chaparral, El Leoncito, La Marimba, that claimed to be authentic but served me tacos on a crunchy shell and a pound of lettuce on top! But FINALLY I found my little authentic Mexican spot in Mexico's Grill, that serves REAL Mexican tacos and other classics! If you want tacos on a taco shell, you can go to Taco Bell where You can have cheap and fake Mexican food. Or if You need lettuce on your tacos, which In reality, REAL Mexican tacos don't even contain lettuce, maybe you're better off just getting a salad. I've been looking for a place like this since I left the SF Bay Area. This is a proper taqueria. First good sign, they have carnitas (and barbacoa, pollo, adobo, fish...). Second, there's no ground beef option. Tacos are meat with a little garnish and lime on a double layer small tortilla. Burritos are a solid meal. Huge tortas. We've been twice now and have really enjoyed the food both times. The first time my husband got a burrito and I got a chimichanga. Both were very yummy but so huge we couldn't finish even half of the food we ordered! The second time we decided to share a a chicken quesadilla. Wow was that yummy! So much cheese and the chicken was actual pieces of chicken, not that messy, greasy shredded stuff you usually see. We had a little trouble with our order being wrong and then the check they charged us for a couple dollars more. However with both issues the waitress was very kind and it was fixed quickly! In town for a space launch and looking for a bite to eat. Small non descript place on a strip mall with a very simple interior. Service was super friendly and prompt. Steak and chicken fajitas were excellent. Home made salsa and guacamole also great. Chips were just chips. Tacos were well received as was quesadilla. Tried this place out based on fb rave reviews. Was disappointed. There are no veggie options so you have to modify which adds up. The fish they use in the tacos is Tilapia which is the dirtiest farm raised fish. The pico is nothing but a bunch of onions with a *very few* pieces of tomatoes and cilantro in it. The chips and salsa came out in a to-go teeny tiny container. I love salsa so was very disappointed. The chips were chewy. Someone wrote on the reviews this isn't like cheddar cheese but the quesadilla was overloaded, not thoroughly melted bunch of shredded cheddar cheese. Won't be returning. read more
