My friend and I came here with hopes for taste of home while I was visiting. We are both from California and my friend has been desperate to find good, authentic Mexican food since she moved to Florida in July. WELL this place nailed it. She had a carnitas super burrito and loved every bite. I ordered one chicken, one fish taco. They were served traditionally with cilantro and onion and meat on two corn tortillas. I wasn't crazy about the chicken though, something with the spices (but I'm picky). The fish was grilled and served with a little cabbage, so fresh and light. I asked the server if I could return the chicken and buy another fish instead. He insisted on making me a fish taco and would not accept money for a new one. I never send food back, so I felt awkward not offering to pay. He came back to my table with another fish taco for me. He was so sweet! We weren't the only patrons that night who felt they hit the jack pot. Other tourist, visiting from so-cal gave their thumbs up approval to the staff. This is THE place for Mexican food, folks. No tex mex, not over priced, and fresh ingredients. Go get some! read more

Phoned in take out order on May 5. Despite sign indicating curbside pickup there was none - takeout had to pay and wait inside. Every booth was occupied (in spite of order for restaurants to stay at 25% occupancy). None of the staff was wearing mask or gloves. Patrons waiting for orders were packed in - well within 6 ft. distance. Would have gone outside or even left, but I kept getting assurances that the food would be "right out". These folks take their street tacos serious. I am in awe of their food. I tried 3 different kinds and they were all very good. I am not sure that I can pick a favorite. They make their own hot sauces and both options (tomatillo & hot) elevated the taco experience. The michelada comes with a tamarindo straw which was the cherry on top of my already yummy beverage. Living in the south has disappointed me a number of times, but I am here to tell,you, Mexico's Grill is the real deal. May be one of the best Mexican restaurants I have eaten at. My wife got the arroz con pollo and said it was the best she has ever had. My quest covered burrito was awesome. I also had to get a street taco after reading the reviews. The pork was outstanding. REAL Mexican food...from the homemade sauces and salsa to the tortillas. We are here every Tuesday for Taco Tuesday! There's not one bad taco on their menu! The best fish tacos I have ever had! Amazing!!!! Guacamole is a home run as well! I read some of the previous reviews. They do have fountain drinks now and you can still buy the Mexican sodas, beer, homemade sangarias, bottled fanta and coke, and bottled water. We have been eating there every Tuesday since Octoberish, maybe earlier. I have NEVER had anything bad, soggy, etc. It has always been a clean facility, even the bathrooms. read more

My family and I are Visiting cocoa beach on vacation, though we do live in Florida. Let me say Florida for the most part has terrible Mexican food (at least where we live in Pinellas County) so we were so excited when we walked in this restaurant and knew right away it was legit Mexican food! My family and I are Mexican American and we ended up eating here twice on our vacation here. I'm vegetarian and I will say I was a bit sad they didn't have a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. In fact none. But I ordered the burrito no meat, no sour cream and cheese. So I guess anything can be made vegan if you ask for no meat or dairy. But besides the lack of vegetarian/vegan options I absolutely would recommend this place. It's sort of a hole in the wall. The flan was amazing as well, and takeout was super fast. read more

We were looking for a quick bite to eat before heading home from our vacation and found this gem tucked away in a shopping center. Their tortillas are authentic and made to order on the spot. Fish tacos were amazing as was EVERYTHING else we ordered. The staff was kind and quick to put our order together. If you're a local, snowbird, or just happen to be in the area, the Mexico's Grill is a great place for a quick quality bite to eat. It's in the Publix shopping plaza and very clean and bright on the inside. I had a couple of fish tacos and the nachos with chicken. The fish was grilled/fried but not deep fried and it also included pico de gallo and shredded cabbage. The chicken on the nachos was seasoned nicely and had a good flavor. Went on a Tuesday night. Had an order of fish tacos and an order of barbacoa and chips and guacamole. Chips were tasty and guacamole was just okay. Small portions of both and they charged for chips. Food was fresh but the portions were also small. I would give a higher rating but the price for portion size knocked the rating down a full star. Hope they make it. Nice people. After being on a ship for a week, we were missing our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant from home. As usual, we turned to yelp for reviews and pictures. I was a little unsure until I saw the photos of the food. My son and daughter (teens) both ordered the beef nachos and they loved them. My son even said that it was the best nachos he has ever had! We also got the bean dip, homemade salsa, and chips. I ordered the taco plate and had the barbacoa and asada. They were fantastic! My husband who used to live in Mexico ordered the street tacos (adobado and carne asada) and loved them. He said the carne asada was the best outside of Mexico! We would come back in a heartbeat- hubby says we may even be back for dinner:) The only thing that would have made it even better was if they had margaritas. read more
