Flat part of roof needed TLC. Called and spoke with Corey who came out on a Sunday. Other parts of my roof were wearing and needed repair, but told him I couldn't afford the whole roof. Called Stephen and after speaking, they said they would do spot repairs for same price. As a widow, I was very thankful for that accommodation. Started project on Monday, and rest of guys came out on Wednesday of that week. To my surprise, they did my whole roof instead of just doing bad spots on rest of roof! If you want to deal with quality people, Stephen and Corey are kind, thoughtful, and honest! They care about the people more than the money. That is a rare business. Highly recommend them. Repair completed, but disappointed in terms of communication and coordination. Late to the appointment, required multiple follow ups, and I still have not formally received repair photos and an inspection report as promised - ghosted. Had a roof leak coming from the roof valley & chose Meyer Roof Company because Cory, who answered my inquiry, offered to tarp the roof for free right before a rainstorm, which felt like a strong sign of customer care. He also seemed like a personable and charismatic sales rep over the phone. However, from the start, I felt wary about the service. He sent what he described as his "best technician" for the tarp. They arrived later than the ETA, but no big deal because no rain yet. What was odd was that the two technicians who showed up repeatedly expressed their fear of heights and the task, which made me feel nervous about the actual repair work itself. Upon discussing with Cory, I later learned they were carpenters rather than the roof specialists who would be performing the work, but it did contribute to a loss of confidence. When it came time to receive the quote, I asked whether a drone inspection would be performed since no roofing specialist had visited the property to visually assess or diagnose the issue beforehand. I was told that a drone inspection would be conducted, but I did not receive any footage, photos, or follow-up discussion regarding the findings. After I followed up for a quote, I received later that day and asked for clarification on how the pricing was developed. On the call, I was asked the square footage and material, which made me wonder if those key factors were captured from the drone and considered in the quote. I was later told that the pricing was intentionally structured as a comprehensive "catch-all" figure to minimize the likelihood of change orders once work began. We ultimately reached a discounted amount, with a mold inspection and ceiling paint to cover the stain at no charge, (I asked if we should include it in the scope, he said it would be not be written in and would be done as a favor), and we proceeded. Scheduling was another challenge. I was told "Our tile technicians would be able to complete it in one day. We would start at 8 AM to ensure we can complete it by 5 PM." No reminders, no ETA, there was no proactive communication until I followed up nearly half an hour past the appointment time. I was told they were finishing a job in Santa Ana. Eventually a group chat was created with the director of construction and superintendent. I was told they were stuck in traffic, and a representative arrived about 1.5 hours late for an 8 AM start time. Joe, the superintendent, showed up first to re-ask where the issue was located before diagnosing the problem, which reinforced the quote felt more like a general estimate rather than a tailored assessment. Materials were later picked up mid-day from the boneyard, and the actual repair crew didn't show up and begin work until the afternoon. The good news is the repair itself was completed successfully with a water test, and Steven, the director of construction, came and walked me through what was done. He showed me photos and told me they would be provided in a formal report so I didn't have to take a photo of the photo. Regarding the favor, before the repair, I reminded Joe about the mold check and stain painting. The crew kindly handled the stain painting until it was no longer visible, using leftover paint I had - I genuinely appreciated it. Steven said he'd follow up on the mold inspection, but I did not hear back. Despite multiple follow-ups (including in the group chat), I never received the photos nor inspection report and was essentially ghosted - no response. I had called about a week after and they supposedly happened to be talking about me and Cory would take care of it that day himself, but I did not receive anything. I had to informally receive photos from my friend who received them from the actual repair man. Regarding the mold inspection, from the same follow up call, Cory briefly said there was no mold. He had told me the tarp carpenter would be the one handling it, and although the tarp carpenter never came out and I didn't see anyone out there detecting, I let it go because it was not formally scoped. I had hoped this would be the beginning of a long-term relationship, especially for a future full roof replacement, but the communication gaps and missing documentation makes it hard for me to trust the process for a larger, higher-cost project. Overall, the repair got done and some of the on-site crew were kind and helpful, but consistency, communication, and follow-through need significant improvement. read more

They took advantage of my Elderly Mom who paid there permit & citation fees they didn't pay but lied and said they took care of it but actually never did. I call Corey & Steven and they dont even answer there phone trying to get my mom's money back but they haven't sent any payments to her and according to Corey he was going to make her monthly payments not even 1 payment was made. My mom's on a set income & was taken advantage of by these 2 men . read more

I used Meyers Roofing to replace my roof. I had gotten quotes from a different other companies, but I just felt comfortable with them from the beginning. They were very detailed in explaining the whole process to me. Once I decided to use them, they came over and brought be different samples on the roof I wanted and helped me choose the best color for my house. When the work got started they kept up with commuicating daily with me onsite. Joe was our project supervisor each day and was really great with checking in with me and making sure my property was clean at the end of each day. I'm extremely happy with the work they did. We hired Myers Roofing last year. At first, Corey and Steven, both were very nice, professional and responsive. But one problem after another... Now, they are nowhere to be found! When issues started, they would come look at the defective work immediately and very apologetic but do nothing. They know exactly how to handle it in a very professional manner so that you can be patient with them. Then, saying they need to wait for materials and numerous reschedule after another reschedule and eventually never show up and don't return phone calls. Red Flags: -Both Steven and Corey have out of state license plate on their vehicles. -Their office is basically an address used at a WorkWell office space in Irvine. There is no one there. -They did not list their Contractor License number on their website. -I called City, they never filed permit. They used the previous roofing company permit to do the work. -The company is not registered with BBB. It has been over year that they dragged us along with no resolutions and now completing ghosting us. We have no choice but going to file the complaint with the Contractor Board. I'm sure that there are people out there that encountered the same experience. I encouraged you to file the complaint with the CSLS. Even if no permit was obtained or business license was not located. read more

I highly recommend this company! we've had two very positive experiences and both times they impressed me with their integrity and customer service. It would have been easy for a less honest company to convince me I needed more work done but they did not. The second time, there were two technicians here for two hours running all types of tests - only to tell me that the water damage I saw was not from the roof and there was no charge! Permit was applied for AFTER the job was done, but is STILL NOT finalized in January 2025. Once they found out I needed an inspection by LAHD and LADBS and require one piece of paper with their license number and signature, I have been ghosted.
