I had a problem with my motorcycle and was forced to leave it on the side of the freeway, I found Meza Towing on YELP. I called, Danny the owner picked up right away and said he could help me. The price he quoted me was fair and he mentioned he will be a while since he was dropping off another car. To my pleasant surprise he called me back earlier than promised and was able to pick my bike up secure, it and delivered it to my house. I called Meza's towing because I needed to get my car repaired ASAP. I had already been calling around and getting quoted at least $150 for less than 20 miles. As soon as I called Danny it was like I was talking to a close friend. He was very genuine and concerned and quoted me only $70. I didn't end up needing his services but I wanted to write about what a genuinely nice person Danny was only speaking to him for less than 15 minutes and something he said just really stuvk with me. He told me that people dont usually prepare or have money aside for towing services, so offering affordable rate was important because he genuinely just wants to help people. This "Cash for Cars" company is now located in Spring Valley. It is a terrible company. They sold my niece a car, lied about it being salvaged and refused to smog it. When I went back with her after our trip to the DMV, they refused to pay for the smog and were so rude and confrontational. They said, "Take us to civil court." My niece is young, inexperienced and short on money. She learned a lesson, but how sad that they get away with this. What they are doing is illegal and wrong. I find their bible quote highly interesting. After reading other reviews, I assume they are great at picking up your car to make money, but not so good at being honest and selling them. read more

I arrived and met Danny who was not only friendly and professional but was so helpful with helping me assess my car before taking it to a mechanic to potentially be ripped off lol we tried turning the car over and it started surprisingly. He then showed me how to check my fluids only to find that I just needed oil. He didn't charge me for the service and even stayed longer to offer some additional products that could help me diagnose car problems in the future. Don't believe in lies. This crook took my cousin's hard earned money with a huge smile on his face and never explained to her what his "as is" really "was". She needed a car really bad and he prayed on her misfortune. Relaying his story on how he does good for the people and such nonsense. He did mention that the car had no current tags but failed to "mention" that the car had no brakes, a short in the wiring system, and that the car's headlights were removed! And he's a member of the BBB?! Ok, I understand if she failed to look at these things but she's not a professional. There are only a few Yelpers who know about all the soon-to-be ex breaking into and f'ing up my truck. Well after it was tampered with by you know who, we fixed the ignition in a temporary way. So of course the day I was to go to the DMV, the truck decided not to turn on. By this time, I had been through so many other incidents with the truck and my residence I was ready to leave the truck and walk away. I did get a ride home but after I calmed down, I started calling tow companies. It was around 7-8 at night. I started calling tow companies with 3+ ratings on Yelp and places near my home. To tow my vehicle 5 miles to my house I had prices range from $45 and $3 per mile, $50 and $4 per mile. The divorce is draining me financially so I needed a reasonable price. Finally I called Meza Towing. The cost was a flat fee of $50. Sold. The guy was extremely nice and friendly. We chatted on the phone for a while before we hung up. He thankfully picked me up at my house and then got the truck and loaded on the flat bed and took my truck home. The owner is a very spiritual man and we engaged in some very nice and uplifting conversation. I truely felt like we were friends that have known each other for a while. I hope I will not have anymore problems with my truck but if the powers that be decide my sanity is not quite gone, I will definetely call Meza Towing. read more

I had an old car that just kept giving me problems. Problems to the point that putting more cash into it was becoming ridiculous. The last time it broke down my girlfriend was actually driving it and that was the last straw. So after countless weeks on Craigslist with no takers I decided to call Cash For Cars. I called them and let them know I had a car that needed to go and as soon as possible because I was having guests over and needed the parking space. But being the busy company they are their schedule was full but they would keep me informed of any openings. They did just that.I told the gracious receptionist that my girlfriend would be very disappointed if the car was still there when our guests arrived. She said she would do what she could but they were very busy. She was very helpful. Well an opening came up late that evening. It was like 9pm and they came and got the car. The tow driver was very nice and experienced and they paid the price that was discussed. Cash. It was a very good experience. Would I recommend them ?... ABSOLUTELY.
