Our server, Alex, was very personable despite being busy with a large bday gathering and several other tables. He made us feel welcome as he went over the specials and took our orders. I got the chicken Parmesan which is my goto litmus test, while my date got the beet salad with grilled chicken. The food arrived promptly and looked and tasted delicious. My chicken parm was yummy, crispy chicken with melted cheese over delicious spaghetti! The beet salad was also well received. We saw several tables getting some delicious bread and asked for a basket. I thought it may be complimentary however it was 8$ a basket. They make it in house and drizzle it with olive oil. Served with some fresh rosemary and soft butter, it was delicious and well worth the price, just don't fill up on it! We were pressed for time so turned down their house made gelato, however we passed the gelato station on the way out and regretted this decision, it looked amazing! I mentioned to Alex that my entree was delicious but what set the restaurant apart was the service and atmosphere. It was warm, welcoming, and friendly. The lamb gyro was jam-packed with sliced meat and dressed with a wonderful mint sauce that packed a little heat. The addition of a beef gozleme was better in theory than it was in something with a distinctive taste. Overall, we had a terrific meal that left us too full to try a dessert in the form of 4 different types of baklava. A great choice if you don't need tableside service and just want to tuck into some great food after ordering it at the counter.

Using cured lemon was a very clever idea as the sauce was not too strong but still had depth; the saffron and turmeric were well balanced. The fish itself was NOT overcooked and flaked perfectly. The vegetables were also executed well and cooked so they could be eaten with the same bite. The star of the show was still the cook on the fish with the wonderful sauce. The sever gave us some Moroccan mint tea which was also wonderful. We will be making the drive from the Maine Line to just to dine here again.

They do have a lovely outdoor area at the front and side of the restaurant so we could have sat outside since last night was quite mild in weather. One downside of the prix fixe is no zucchini and eggplant chips which are my favorite, and I didn't want to order that on top of the appetizer, entree, and dessert. Next time!

The portion size was small, and the rice was severely undercooked and crunchy. The rest of us all had the Shrimp Lourdas which was just okay. It could have used more feta cheese and seasoning as well as more shrimp. As far as dessert? We couldn't get out of there fast enough. The only thing we liked is that the restaurant is byob.

Plus, at $26.95 an overload of spaghetti didn't make up for one small roll of chicken. -- Chicken Francese -- Fellini's has a different spin than the lemon butter I'm used to. The menu claims asparagus and mozzarella. While I was eating, I thought 'this is good, but not as described.' And this is what happens when waiters don't write down orders. They gave me saltimboca. Fellini's is byob with no corkage fee. A sign outside offers a free glass of wine. Perhaps, because we didn't request the freebie, our host brought us amoretto on the house. A nice gesture. FYI, expect a 4% upcharge if you pay with a credit card.
