I can't get enough of Mezeh. This is my 3rd time at this location this week and I must say I'm a tad bit obsessed with their food. The ingredients are healthy, fresh, and guilt-free! The new spot is located right beside Mission BBQ in the Germantown Shopping Center. Their concept is similar to Chipotle's where you can customize your own bowl. They have plenty of toppings to choose from where at times could get overwhelming but there's no such thing as too much when it comes to healthy options. My favorite bowl here is a mixture of greens and brown rice with the Shawarma chicken for a little kick. Topped with the green cilantro hummus, tabbouleh, couscous, roasted corn, Greek beet dip, crunchy chickpeas, and most importantly their caramelized eggplant is my #1 favorite topping above the rest. Don't sleep on the eggplant because this is a game changer in your bowl! They also have plenty of drink options to choose from and my favorite is the All Star Berry for immunity health! Make sure to download their app. for any special rewards and it can become useful if you're a regular like to me rack up the rewards points. We have placed multiple orders from Meza take out through door dash because we like the food. Last week we ordered it and a few of the options we selected for two of our 4 meals was missing, like the cabbage, cucumber, and most id the chicken. I called the restaurant and left a message but nobody returned my call. Your food is good but your customer service is terrible. You lose me and my family as your customers. read more

I was excited to have a new Med place in Germantown and couldn't wait to try it. I'm always going to CAVA in the Kentlands. The food was ok BUT the service is HORRIBLE!! First of all they need more people working, I saw 3 people during lunch time. The first girl started my order and put my lamb Kefta on top. I waited another 5+ mins for the other girl to come finish my bowl. Meanwhile my lamb is getting cold and being exposed. There was no one in front of me, but I think she was filling online orders. She kept looking at me and knew I was waiting, but still I waited. They need to learn how to move faster like CAVA, Chipotle and Chick Fil A! They have a great location, so I hope they get it together so I can go there again, otherwise back to CAVA read more

Really excited to have a Mezeh nearby now that I've tried it. The bowls were delicious, flavorful, and fresh. Sometimes when there is too much going on in a bowl, you end up with a mushy hot mess (though not really hot and everything is kinda cold) and nothing tastes extraordinary. If that's what you're avoiding then this is the place to get a bowl. Every ingredient tasted good and distinct. The food was also still warm when we got it delivered! There was ample amounts of meat in the Shawarma Bowl. The chicken and steak pieces were both incredibly tender and the rice was nice and warm. I'm not sure what sauce it came with (there were two sauces with the order of two bowls) but it didn't need any sauce. The bowl was perfect contained within itself. The Dip Crazy does sound crazy - who needs that many dips? You do. All the dips worked well together and the pickled beets were a perfect topping. I'd prob add steak next time but chicken was perfectly fine. Can't wait to try the other "lifestyle bowls" and maybe be as daring as to create my own. The baklava was kinda small for $2 but it was really tasty. I think each bowl comes with pita but we didn't know and ordered more. The ordered pita is a pretty large piece of toasty pita pillow. We ordered one of the juices but it didn't show up with our order. read more

The food is delicious and I'm happy to have this style of restaurant close to me. I've ordered from the Germantown location 4 times since opening, twice in person and twice online to pick-up in store. The in-person orders are 5 stars easy. The pick-up orders not so much. I noticed that both times I ordered online, my bowls were about 3/4 greens with only a sprinkling of the sides I ordered. This last time I counted exactly six pickled onions lol. It's not a huge deal but it's a big enough deal for me to take time to write this review. I can only imagine what people who deliver receive. If you can tolerate the line, it would be best to go to the restaurant and order. Otherwise, your bowl may not much leaner than you'd want lol. read more

I made a review for the Rio one years ago but decided to make one for Germantown as well! I came during the grand opening and other times this week because the food is just amazing. Also, you can't beat a 5$ meal with a purchase of a drink. The service is great! I don't feel rushed when choosing toppings. The guy who is tall working there works very delightedly. I hope this business succeeds in this area! Since they just opened up not everything is perfect because they ran out of many juices on Sunday. Also, they don't have the soda machine up yet. This place is amazing! The food is very flavorful and the staff is great!!! I had a large order that was prepared with many instructions and everything was correct! Not only did they fulfill my order but I was helped with all the food I had to carry to my car. I just want to say how great this place plus the the manager Will are!!! Tried this Mezeh location a few times and the food was delicious every time. The staff I interacted with was very kind as well.

I'm half and half on this establishment, mostly because of the lack luster employees. They give you a teaspoon of what you ask for and when you ask for a little more they look like they hate their life. You chose to be a server, put on a smile and serve people what they want. For a fresh fast food change up, it's great. Options were plentiful, including meats, veggies, rices (even cauliflower rice dressed up with other spices and veggies). Staff as friendly as can be. They don't even deserve one star. I have tried to give this place a chance for the second time now and BOTH times they have messed up my order. At this point it's basically THEFT! The first time they forgot the meat in my bowl which is the main ingredient that you pay for!!!! And now the second time I've ordered they forgot my drink, my sides, and the extras that WE PAID EXTRA FOR!!! On top of missing half our meals and items the customer service at the germantown location is the worst I've ever had. The recording says they're hours and when I call it goes to voicemail every time for me to leave a message....so of course I do and STILL NO CALL BACK... what's the point in leaving a message?!?! Not only ALL that but there was only a 30 min wait time but after I placed the order and paid it said an hour wait?!? Food safety and service: it would have been faster had we stood in line. Ordered online; had some issues with the website. Then arrived a few minutes later than the order was to be completed but they hadn't completed it. We waited another 20 minutes for our online order. Two employees were not wearing masks correctly, well below their noses; one was a cook, the other was putting together bowls. I have not eaten the food yet; actually I'm not feeling good about feeding this food to my family because of the poor hygienic standards there. Disappointed. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY HAVE A COCKRAOCH INFESTATION. I came when they first opened and was met by a bunch of clueless teens who had no idea what they were doing. They mixed up my bowl with another lady's and gave me side eye when I tried to tell her it was, in fact, my bowl. They had to throw away two perfectly fine orders when the lady in front of us clarified that they were not her bowls. They were out of steak and made me wait 20 minutes extra while they cooked from scratch and prepared it. It's a new restaurant. And they didn't have any extra meat in the back? While I was waiting for my steak, 20 mins later, two COCKROACHES jump down my shirt and crawl all over me, ALIVE. I told the staff and didn't want my food. Where there's two there's more. Some customers walked out with me. I drove by everyday for a week later, and they NEVER CLOSED. They never called an exterminator, they never addressed the issue. If they didn't know that's one thing, but I told staff. So now they know, and are choosing not to do anything about it. read more
