Much bigger than a NY traditional slice of pizza but very good!! It was perfect for folding, thin and crusty. My husband and I grabbed it as a snack, shared it and it was very satisfying with all its flavors! The service was simple for counter pick up but just fine. Stopped by today for the first time since the name change around 11am. It was empty and super clean. Got 3 slices and a small salad to go. Also 3 drinks. There is a restroom here for customers it was very clean and spacious. It was decorated for the holidays which was nice. Staff is super nice and friendly, food is fresh and you can pay with cash or card. Can't wait to come back already. By the way, get the margarita pizza!! It's sooo good read more

Contrary to Dave Portnoy's unfavorable opinion about spinach, I strongly feel it is an excellent vegetable especially as a topping. Pizza was burned hence them saying their pizzas crispy. The dough was meh and I couldn't finish the crust as it was hard and dry. Slices are 5.00 ( I know the overhead is high) They have been open a few months and the windows are decorated with signs that read open for 50 years. Was on Arthur Avenue the other day...got a little hungry and decided to stop in to Full Moon for a couple slices. I've been here a few times over the years and every time I come it's always a good experience! Service is always good...food is heated up nice and quick and there's plenty of seating both inside and outside. Got myself a slice of buffalo chicken and a slice of spinach/eggplant. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted excellent! My Girl got a fresh arugula/sun-dried tomato slice. She loved it! We also got a spinach roll to go. Great pizzeria here on Arthur Avenue in The Bronx. Smelled like stagnant water with a mix of vomit when we walked in and I'm not sure if it's the smell of the cleaning fluid that they use to wipe the tables because there was a staff cleaning tables. There are a lot of options in the display case. We ordered take out and got pepperoni slice and it cost $6 which seems super expensive for a size of pizza. The pizza was medicore and did not taste great. Overall I would not recommend. There has to be better pizza places else where. read more

The Lasagna I ordered had a grainy texture to the ground beef and though at first bite, the sauce is okay, you get a weird after taste. All went in the trash. A complete Tourist Trap, locals beware. In all the times-years, going to Arthur Avenue, this was my first time there. Don't waste your time and another thing, this was friend recommended because it seems nobody can make a good Lasagna to save their life. My SO and I stopped in on a whim while looking for a place to eat in the area. The staff here are quick and efficient, bustling through orders to keep things moving. I was pleased to see gluten-free options and enjoyed a white pie with mushrooms--the seasoning and preparation were great. It took quite some time for the pizza to come out, which was my only issue. My SO loved the massive and tasty individual slices. My only wish is for more seasoning options to be easily accessible, as they're kept behind the counter where the line forms. Was so happy to find this Arthur Ave gem! Was in town and was craving a real NY slice and pie. This did not disappoint! I ordered ahead and it was ready right away. Everyone was super friendly and even though it was an off hour (3 pm) it was crowded. If you're going to the Bronx, you gotta go to Arthur Ave. If you've going to Arthur Ave and want slices, this is the place. The slices are huge, chewy and crisp dough, well seasoned and lots of toppings. Had the BBQ pork slice and the chicken parm slice. Both excellent. Also had a potato croquette which was huge, size of a baked potato - excellent seasoning, good amount of cheese. Staff was awesome, friendly to us tourist types, helpful and very fast. read more

It's been remodeled. Still the same quality for decades. Bring an appetite the slices are large (see photo) crisp, fresh mozzarella and good sauce. The garlic knots must be on steroids; they're three times the size most place serve. It seems a little touristy on the weekends. But, it is in Little Italy in the Bronx. read more

I've been ordering pizza from here for a couple of years now. So far i have only had pizza delivered to my home. I always order a large pie. I tried the following toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, bacon and sausage. They allow you to pick different toppings for the left or right side. My favorite combo is mushrooms and bacon on the left side and pepperoni on the right side. So good. The pizza's here are huge, it takes up the entire box. The pizza has an amazing tomato sauce and always has a good amount of cheese. I love the crust, its just enough. I've also ordered the garlic knots multiple times. My favorite part is always the pieces of garlic on the knots. The knots have a great crispy exterior and a soft inside. Its delicious. They serve it with marinara sauce which is always good. I just wish i had more of it. Pizza fridays from Full Moon will continue in my household. We love it here. read more

My trip back to the BX wouldn't be complete without having some pizza from little Italy of the Bronx. The plain slice was amazing. For such a big slice, the crispy crust did not wilt. The right amount of sauce and the cheese was good as well. Now the Sicilian was great. I was a bit intimidated by how thick it was, but when you bite in, it is very light and airy. The guys behind the counter are very cortious and helpful. Service is great. The ambiance is casual and friendly. Can't wait to try other slices. read more

A regular slice is $4.50 and a speciality slice is $6! The slices were too crispy to my liking, each bite was like a big chip with sauce and cheese. The margherita slice comes with a ton of basil and oregano on it which I found to be nice. I didnt need to add any more seasonings on top. Look at that crust! The pizza is Huuuuge! I'm driving back from Hudson Valley and we're hungry. I was going to my beloved Brooklyn but traffic was insane so? I set the nav to Arthur Ave, to my peoples! Well it turns out, my peoples are closed on Sunday or open late. It was the bat signal, I see Full Moon pizza open for business. There's a guy on line face timing to his pregnant wife, how about this one? Nah. Artichoke? It was very cute. There's two tables with kids, all running around and enjoying themselves. This is a family spot, I'm loving it so far. I ordered a regular pizza thinking I'd bring some home for my two sons. My wife, she's looking at the artichoke pizza up and down! Equally crispy. Oversized slices and thin crust on the round pie slices. Two enjoyable Italian house wines ready to be opened fresh poured into a plastic cup for $5. Really? Yes. The menu offers really tantalizing options: burgers, pancake options, salads, etc. Rochelle has been on an Eggs Benedict kick and that was her choice. I ordered an egg white spinach mozzarella omelette. There are options such as home fries, French fries or salad as sides to accompany the entree. We both chose home fries and whole wheat toast for my omelette. Rochelle ordered a regular iced coffee took one sip then one sip of my iced cappuccino and decided my cap was better. Here's how our entrees tasted: -Eggs Benedict: Two poached eggs on an english muffin with canadian bacon and avocado, topped with chipotle hollandaise sauce. I tasted the avocado and it was creamy and fresh. Rochelle enjoyed her meal immensely. -Egg White Omelette with spinach and mozzarella is made with three eggs, side of whole wheat toast and delicious home fries. The portion is generous and filling. This is part of build your own omelette on menu. -Iced Cappuccino: cream, dreamy and frothy, tbh, no added sweetener needed. -Service: courteous although I asked for iced water with lemon and received just water. Green Kitchen is a fine place for any meal; breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. There is a Happy Hour weekdays from 11am-7pm. GK is a five star experience, however, loss of one star is the attention to details: we wanted to pay in cash but needed change from a big bill. The server took the bill and some confusion later " the bill you handed is not enough to pay the bill.." Okey dokey. GK is definitely a nice post shopping ( Bloomingdales), gym or meet up for a meal. The small raviolis just can't swim in my pot! The older gentleman behind the counter asks if he can help me. I ask him to open the box and actually show me the larger ravioli. Oh baby, they are large and in charge. Why I walked out with one box still boggles my mind because I should have bought 3. I'm not in the area too often and the extra boxes would have carried me through the winter. I hand over my cash and the gentleman says God Bless to me. I'm not getting blessings on Long Island! We were greeted kindly by the staff sat down handed a set of dominoes to play with while we waited for our food and drank some water. The place is decorated nicely and you can see the vision in mind definitely. We placed our orders and I'm not gonna lie I came in thinking the food was gonna be eh but I was blown away by the flavors. For drinks we ordered a spicy sunset, pretty young thing and cokes. The spicy sunset is a nice strong drink and is rimmed nicely with just the right amount is tajin as you drink it; it has a nice smoky after taste to it definitely was delicious. The pretty young thing was a nice citrusy drink with a little salty aftertaste, which balanced out the flavor nicely. The cokes were not water down they were good as well. For food we ordered the Cuban sandwich with parmesan fries, butter chicken wings, butter chicken macaroni and cheese, steak nachos grande, butter chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and mom's butter chicken platter. This was a wonderful Spanish and Indian style combination of flavors. Definitely my first time having this type of food and wow what a mind blowing experience. Not one person in the table complained or had anything negative to say about their food. We all tried each other's food and each bite we exchanged to try was delicious and better than the last . The Cuban was delicious but the parmesan fries stole the show from that meal it was paired so lovely who would've thought those flavors would've mixed nicely. The buttery chicken wings oh my God dripping with goodness each bite was legit finger licking good lol. The butter chicken macaroni very very delicious. Had a nice cheese pull and a good balance could not stop eating it. The steak nachos were delicious I wish It had a little more meat, but it was not bad. The butter chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries also delicious and the fries were cooked so nicely that it was crispy and soft at the same time per bite. The mom's butter chicken platter was delicious they gave the right amount of sauce, the pita bread was delicious and soft, the salad that it was paired with was good too the rice was decently portioned. Everything was definitely tasty. Not one complaint of any of the meals. We did not wait long for the food. Bathrooms were nice and clean. I want to come back to try more things in the menu that's how good the food was and our group agreed to also come back with us. This spot is definitely a place to try. They have a beautiful quote right near the bar that really spoke to us, especially during these times it said "you are exactly where you need to be." It makes you stop for a second and really take it in and just live in the moment ... especially living in New York, where you have to be always go go go fast fast fast.
