    Mezze platter
    Allie H.

If I could eat here every day I would- it's honestly that good. This gem has big portions for a reasonable price and it's GOOD. Mezze platter is a must- you get to sample the different dips and it's served with hot pita bread. The lamb beyti is huge!! It's super rich- lamb wrapped in dough. But just split with some people because it's a wonderful dish to try. The governors plate is also a great mix of seasoned meats served with some veggies and rice! Everything we had here was great. Nothing was "just ok". I came twice in a week because I was thinking about their hummus topped with olive oil. To top it off, service is awesome.

I love the fun, vibrant ambiance straight off the bat. You order at the front and they give you a number. For two people, we got the governor's plate and chick me out. Portion sizes were quite good and we had leftovers as well! The complimentary pita was so soft and pillowy pairing well with all the meats that were juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. Also enjoyed the sides that came with it which were very refreshing. Good spot for a casual meal!

My favorite spot for quick and classic Mediterranean food. I love the order at the front and find a seat style establishment. All of the workers are super nice and the restaurant has a really comforting homemade vibe. They provide complimentary pita bread and hummus which are so good it's almost addicting. I always order the chicken or lamb plates because they have everything you could ask for. The meats are always cooked and spiced to perfection and I am a sucker for pickled vegetables for which there are many. I love combining all the ingredients and wrapping them in the pita bread. Mediterranean food is great because there's so many ways you can mix and match your meal. I usually never shoutout the drinks at a restaurant but their house iced teas are so refreshing and I always need to have it to wash down the food.

When you first walk into the restaurant, you'll order from the cashier. The person working at the counter was very friendly and made great suggestions for first timers. After you're done ordering, you'll take your number and sit down at a table of your choosing. They'll bring the food over to you. The restaurant kind of reminds you of Chipotle? But slightly homier and where the kitchen side of the restaurant is blocked by equipment. I lived in the Middle East for a few years and have enjoyed my fair share of Turkish food, so my standard might be a bit high. We ordered two dishes, the Mezze Platter and the Governors Plate From the Mezze Platter, I did enjoy the first dip of hummus, but I thought it got a bit dry towards the middle since the olive oil wasn't drizzled on top. The texture reminded me of dry Greek yogurt. I was a bit disappointed with the governors plate. The lamb kebab was the best out of everything. All the other meats tasted really dry, almost as if they microwaved left overs or meats that were sitting around. Overall the service was great and the food tasted somewhat healthier and light, but not the best Turkish food I've had

    Iskender Kebap in takeout container

I've either eaten here or gotten takeout from here several times before. Most times, it's been reasonable, but recently their Adana kebabs have become obnoxiously salty. They were seasoned just fine before! I've been favoring their Iskender for lunch, which hits the right notes. Tomato sauce and meat slices over chunked up pita bread, and a side of yogurt to balance it out. They provide a grilled shishito pepper on the side, with a grilled tomato and some parsley. If dining in, it comes on a platter. Their other entrees come with a standardized set of sides: usually rice, ezme salad, pickled red cabbage, sumac seasoned red onions, and tzatziki sauce. Also comes with a pita. Their salmon comes on a thin plank and seems to be cooked well. Their falafel are flat cylinders that are reasonably tasty. The stuffed grapes leaves here are small, but still mighty. They are more spiced than they are sour. You order first at the counter. They'll give you a number and you find a place to sit. Your food will be brought out to you. There is a mix of tables, both low and high, as well as some booth seating. Their menu uses icons to indicate inclusion of certain types of ingredients or allergens. This can be helpful for those wishing to stick with or avoid certain foods. Lastly, the restaurant is located in the Triangle. This means you'll have your pick of 2 hr packing slots, try out the parking garage, or wait for someone to leave.

wow this might be some of the best turkish food i've had, especially for how generous the portions are for the price. you order at the counter and most things are self serve, but the staff are friendly and the ambiance is rlly nice the governor's plate is perfect if you want to try a little bit of everything. the lamb beyti was the star of the show!! the lamb was so fragrant, and the dough it was wrapped in was SOOO addicting. the chicken was also amazing, super tender and flavorful. the doner plate was just okay for me... the shaved meat was a bit too gamey i also really appreciated all the extras like the free pita and hummus, the pickled veggies, and especially the yogurt and tomato dips, which i loooved. overall, such a satisfying and well-rounded meal that i'd definitely come back for!!

I've eaten here a couple of times now and both times I have had good food. From the pita bread given as a service to the various pickled vegetables, the taste was very nice. I liked my lamb medallions best. They were tender and I could cut them with a fork. I was one of the first customers of the day and my food was ready pretty quickly. It was brought to my table. The interior is set up nicely with several items on sale near the register. There is also outdoor seating. Parking is limited in the triangle area, so be aware of that. MeezeMe may just have what you are looking for... I hope you stop by and enjoy.

Recently visited MezzMe and was genuinely impressed -- definitely a place I'd come back to. We started with the Iskender kebab -- presentation was . The meat was juicy and tender, topped with a rich tomato sauce, and the yogurt added a perfect balance. The bread soaks up all the juices, making every bite incredibly flavorful. You can tell this isn't just "Turkish food" -- it's made with real attention to detail. For the main course, we had a mixed grill: doner, kebab, and chicken. Everything was cooked just right -- nothing dry, with a nice charcoal flavor. The doner stood out in particular -- very juicy with great texture. The rice was fluffy, sides were fresh, and the sauces complemented everything well. We also tried the pide (a Turkish-style flatbread/boat pizza). The dough was soft inside with a crispy crust, and the topping was rich and well-balanced. Overall: -- generous portions -- fair prices for the quality -- fast service -- casual but cozy atmosphere If you like Turkish food or just want a solid, satisfying meat-based meal -- this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Came here for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend and absolutely loved everything we tried! The hummus was a great size and super yummy. The lamb beyti was insane!! Super flavorful and tender and also a great size, totally worth the price. The chicken shish kebap was also an insane portion and delicious. I definitely recommend getting the garlic aioli with it. We also tried the cheesecake which I thought was good but I was so full that I honestly could have skipped this. The service here was great and the restaurant itself was very cute. I definitely recommend eating at the restaurant rather than ordering to go! Super excited to come back again :)

One of my favorite Mediterranean spots in Austin! I came for lunch on a Wed. and the place was popping! The outdoor lot is small, but there are plenty of parking spots in the garage near by. As soon as you walk in, you place your order then find a seat. There are a few tables outside and a few booths and tables inside. We didn't have an issue finding a table. I ordered the Doner Plate. The portion was huge and you can order bread on the side. The pita is so so soft. The dish was really good and flavorful. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on this menu. Services is quick. Great spot for lunch or a more casual dinner.

The food was absolutely delicious -- it's been a long time since I've had pide and lahmacun this good. The restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly. The next time I travel to Austin, I'll definitely stop by again for more amazing Turkish food!

We spent around $600 with tip and fees for 5 (mixed grill, two apps, two drinks each); and while the food was delicious the meats were luke warm not piping hot, our server while very friendly was not the best at giving suggestions (basically she said everything is good lol) and wasn't able to split the check 2/3 and 1/3 instead of 50/50 ("... I don't know how to do that"), and the cocktails while tasty didn't really feel special enough to be $21-25 each. It was a very enjoyable experience I just don't know that it lived up to the price tag. For that price I'm looking for exceptional not just very good. That being said the food was delicious! Pricey but pretty good portions. The server said the mixed grill was good for around 4 people, but with two apps it was actually a little too much food for the 5 of us. Mixed grill ($220): -Rosewood Wagyu Strip and Lamb Chops: tie between these two for the best dish; they were both juicy and tender and the sauces were delicious. Not served piping hot but they were so good I didn't really mind. -Harissa Marinated Beef Tenderloin: great flavor- a tad dry. -Spiced Lamb Kefta: also dry, I liked it best with the yogurt sauce. -Red Pepper Chicken Thigh: delicious, one of my fav kabobs. -Herb & Garlic Shrimp: tasty and not overcooked -Charred King Trumpet mushroom: loved the veggie option! they mushrooms were substantial and the sauce was great. -Crispy Shallot Hummus: very good- loved the crispy shallots in particular! -Manti Dumplings: top app- I would 100% order this again the dumplings were delicious and the sauce/yogurt on top of them was the best, we wiped up every drop with the pitas! -The pita bread was hot, fresh, and delicious and our service kept on offering more, so I don't know if they've changed their policy but my experience was not the same as reviews that said only one pita per person. We refused extra pitas 3 times I think! Cocktails- everything we tried was quite good, but again there wasn't the pizaz or just 'blown away by the flavor' to feel that the crazy price was totally justified. We tried: Spanish G&T (very refreshing- don't chew on the juniper berries lol), Banana Bread Old Fashioned (pretty good even for someone who doesn't much like whiskey!), Bonfire on a Beach (fun, smokey, love the harissa on the side), Peach Martini (teensy bit sweet for me but good). The manager stopped by a few times to check on us and our server was very attentive. She did give us good service its just for the high price I would expect some more detailed suggestions on drinks, being able to split the check other than 50/50 (or at least ask someone instead of just saying 'I don't know how'). It was friendly and enthusiastic service just not 'wow this truly is fine dining' service. Outside of the restaurant, parking is a bit of a pain but that is normal for down town. We parked at the Laz garage half a block away- $8 for 2 hrs instead of the $27 for valet.

Then, to get drinks or even the order was a problem. It took so much longer than usual. Our waitress was rude, and seemed bothered that we showed up. They also have the safe and standard fair like gyros, kebabs, and shawarmas. For next time, I might consider some of the rice substitutions they looked interesting. I had the eggplant and beef stew, Khoresh Bademjan, and Kashke Bademjan. Both were excellent and complementary despite te similarities. I liked the balanced of yogurt/whey against the eggplant mix with the starter. Someone else had Fesenjan (Persian Pomegranate Chicken), and it was delightful with its mix of sweetness, sourness, and balance that it tempted me away from considering ordering more eggplant dishes the next time I returned. The service was also exceptionally attentive, hospitable, and sociable. The ambiance was professional, fitting, and not overbearing. The deserts were also well portioned and easily shareable. My favorite was the Sholeh Zard, a Persian take on a rice pudding. I didn't see it on the menu, but they had some available. It was a nice mix of sweetness, florals, and spices without being too over the top in any quality. The price seemed fair. It didn't seem like a massive bargain or poor value. The portions were fairly large, but were not excessively massive. Everyone in my party had leftovers, but we are not big eaters and we ordered a starter and two deserts to share for the party of 4. A very slight negative was the rice was cooked a bit inconsistently giving it an uneven texture, but I was the only who noticed in our party. It may have been intentional, the slight crunchiness/hardness did create an interesting mouth feel. I know there are some dishes that do this intentionally. A minor flaw if that would not ruin a masterful meal and experience.

My little son and I came for dinner here on Monday night…read more Firstly I will say parking is a bit hard to come here so I pre booked a spot in Vincent lot just so I didnt have to deal with circling around and it was only a 5 min walk away The restaurant as you approach it is so cozy and definitely gives you that ethereal lush feel The restaurant was buzzing and full on a Monday night. We had a reservation and the host sat us down immediately and was so friendly. Our server was there right away. Her service was just perfect ... friendly and not over the top. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and gave us suggestions. We had a mockingbird mocktail and my son a soda. The drink was perfect. We ordered the whipped feta, falafel and beef Lamb kefta. Everything came out really quickly. The falafel was absolutely delicious. The whipped feta was a hit with my son. The kefta was a little disappointing. A little bland and dry. I ordered the pannacotta my son the chocolate chocolate cake. I absolutely loved mine with the sorbet on top. My son loved his cake. Atmosphere wise the restaurant is beautiful and cozy and grand but the only complaint would be the music was too loud and it was hard to hold a conversation. For me it doesn't match a nice restaurant but rather a bar concept I would say it was great service and great food

But this most recent time we came for lunch left us with a bit of a sour taste in our mouth. Everything started out strong, the waitress was super engaging, and attentive. Food was really tasty (as always), and came out quickly. As we started to get to the middle and end of our meal thats when things started to go down hill. The waitress didn't come by to refill our waters, I had to ask the staff. And then we were sitting around for about 30 minutes to ask for boxes, and even the check. I am not entirely sure what happened to the server, maybe they got distracted or got busy. But Aba is an expensive meal, and I expect more from this kind of establishment.

A Fantastic Introduction to Mediterranean Food!…read more I recently visited Levant Halal Restaurant and brought my parents, who are visiting from India. It was their very first time trying Mediterranean food, and they absolutely loved it! We started with two different types of hummus served with pita. The hummus was incredibly flavorful, and the pita was exceptionally fresh. We also ordered the falafel, which was perfectly prepared and delicious. For the main course, we shared the Chicken Shish Taouk with sides of beet salsa and Lebanese potatoes--everything was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. Honestly, the highlight of the meal for us was the drinks. The mint juice and beet juice were so refreshing and easily the best part! We finished our meal with baklava and basbousa for dessert, and both were fresh, sweet, and incredibly tasty. Beyond the fantastic food, the ambiance is very neat and clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Levant Halal, especially if you are looking for a great place to introduce family to Mediterranean cuisine!

It has both indoor and outdoor seating. But because I was early there was plenty of seating and I chose indoor. The counter server talked me thru everything and gave me samples of the different side dishes. I chose not to get rice nor bread and stuck to the sauces and veggies. I ordered the Chicken and Lamb Levant bowl. The mixture of all the different flavors was exceptional. Thank you Levant Cafe & Grill for a wonderful dining experience. May 2026 bring you much success! Happy New Year everyone.
