I don't know anyone who enjoys moving. It's stressful and overwhelming! My husband contacted MFL and we crossed our fingers hoping that all would go well. MFL arrived on time and worked meticulously to ensure that our items were safe, and transported smoothly. They were professional, payed attention to furniture and items of value and moved our belongings with care. Our move took place in the Coachella Valley during the month of June, certainly not optimal with the desert heat. But, these three men were positive and helpful the entire time. I made an appointment with Eddie to move a washer and dryer from La Quinta to Lake Arrowhead and to bring the washer and dryer from my Lake Arrowhead home back to La Quinta. When we spoke on the phone he fully understood that he had to drive to Lake Arrowhead and back. When Eddie failed to arrive at 8:00 am as promised I called twice and he finally returned my call and said he "forgot" about the appointment. All could have been forgiven at that point, but then things went from bad to worse. He arrived around 11:00 and was shocked when I gave him the address in Lake Arrowhead as he "forgot" that he had to drive up there and bring the other washer and dryer back to La Quinta. I told him about the strict HOA hours of 8:00-5:00 and said he would have to bring the appliances back the next morning as it was now too late to make the round trip before 5:00. The next morning he showed up at the gate at 7:30 a.m. and the guard told him he could not come in before 8:00. He asked if he could turn around so she let him in and he took off toward my house. She had to chase him down and threaten to call the sheriff if he did not leave immediately; very embarassing for me. Both washers and dryers arrived filthy and covered in dirt. This is not a professional moving company. The one compliment I can give is for Jamal - he is professional and hard-working and I was so grateful that he was there. He should be working for a better company where his professionalism can be rewarded. read more

They took apart all my 3 bedroom sets and put them back together in my new home. They even took apart my chandelier and put it back together. Very happy, will highly recommend them! read more

I have moved house almost too many times to count, and I've had great moving crews as well as lousy ones. I hired these guys to move our household, stacked in a rental's garage to a new house just down the street. Everything was still packed, boxed and wrapped from the recent transport from northern California, and I thought it would be a relatively simple, straightforward job. Except that the rental house had a gravel driveway, which prevented Eddy from backing his moving truck up to the garage; in fact, the truck that delivered our goods a few weeks earlier had a very difficult time getting out. Unfortunately, a furniture dolly doesn't roll on gravel; thus everything had to be carted down the sidewalk to the street and then loaded into the truck, making for MUCH more work. Add to this that, despite starting at 7:00 am, it was one of the hottest and most humid days of the year, and because of the complication of the driveway, the job was taking much longer than anticipated. These guys don't exactly work quickly but they are steady, and the way they toiled with heavy lifting in the crushing heat was admirable. By the time the garage was emptied, it was after noon and over 110F; simply too hot and humid to keep working. Both guys were soaked and pretty worn out. Eddy asked if they could stop the clock and return in the late afternoon, around 5:00, to unload the truck, to which I agreed. They left the truck parked out front of the new house and returned later as scheduled, whereupon they finished the job. Unloading always goes more swiftly, and it didn't take them overly long to get everything inside the new place. Eddy was very apologetic that the job took significantly more time than predicted; perhaps he thought I was going to grumble about the additional hours, but the driveway situation wasn't his fault, and both men worked really hard. Honestly, I was so appreciative that I wasn't the one doing such brute work on the hottest day of the year, I didn't mind the extra hours, and I tipped them both. MFL Delivering & Moving did a great job moving my elderly mother from her home in Palm Desert to a senior community in Santa Barbara, near where I live. Eddie and Luis were great to work with, and took care with all my mom's stuff. Nothing was broken, and everything was handled with care. They were polite and worked hard the entire time, and were flexible when they needed to be. The move included two other stops -- to drop off a piano in Simi Valley and some stuff at my house -- but Eddie was unfazed by that, and his price was more than competitive, about half some other estimates. We pretty much had only a hand-shake agreement on what was to be done and the cost, unlike other movers who had lengthy contracts and lots of fine print. That might make some people nervous, but Eddie came through exactly as he said he would. He was a man of his word. I would not hesitate to use Eddie and MFL Delivering & Moving again, whether it was a local move or something more distant. read more

There is no praise high enough for moving for less! Eddie, Ryan, and Luis are professional, positive, expert, packers and movers. I used them four times in one month to prepare for a move and to move and they never wavered in their attitudes, professionalism, and attention to detail. Eddie and Larry helped my sister and I move our 84- and 88-year-old parents. This was a difficult move considering that some items were going to storage, others were being donated, while still other furniture was getting consigned. We aren't exaggerating when we say that we could not have done it with out MFL. This was a difficult situation but Eddie and Larry were kind and compassionate, thoughtful and considerate. They went above and beyond business as usual going so far as to return the next day to wrap up when we ran out of time due to darkness the day before. We are already planning to use MFL again, when our parents move their items from storage and into an assisted living facility. read more
