Pretty juicy grilled chicken sandwich! Super friendly staff... we also ordered the tater tots which were amazing! 10/10 recommend Cute decor inside as well.

The buns are fresh made. Beef is very good grade with great flavor. We had eaten here when they were still at the old location. Several years ago. Everything was cooked to order. The chicken fried steak was a generic frozen steak, that was a downer, good but not what was expected. Tots were cooked so crispy outside, soft inside. Decor was great. It's in a converted garage with all the car memorabilia anyone could want. Clean and temperature was just right, even with the door open. Wait staff were friendly and quick.

First stop on our road trip and we loved this place ! Super cute retro vibe burger joint with plenty of sitting. Burger was good with all the traditional toppings. Onion rings crispy , zucchini fries were excellent. Fresh made fries. The patty was a little generic , but overall the burger was tasty. Bun held up really well. Service was fantastic. These lovely ladies check on you constantly , real southern hospitality !

The last two times I had a to go order my orders wasn't right. The first time I ordered two chicken fried steak dinners they are supposed to come with a side salad I didn't get them. One of the order was supposed to have fried okra it didn't have any (now that was just the first time I went ) I went a second time ordered the chicken fried steak again my order was messed up. I ordered corn with one of the dinners didn't get any. I called them both times they said I could go back to get the missing items or they offered a free meal but when I went to get the meals since I wasn't able to go back right then & there to get the missing items but I was made to feel like it was my fault that they messed up my order read more

Good Burger`s & side`s -Had to sit and swat flies the whole time we ate-Kid`s standing at the front door holding it wide open-Duh, Could that be the reason? Not worth $10.00 a person to have to swat all the flies - The Sweet tea will put you in a coma-I counted 8 scoops of sugar she put in one tea urn -Not to mention some one come`s by every 3 minutes to check to see if everything is ok said you need anything -Yes a flyswatter! read more

This is the best burger I've ever eaten. The bread is pillow-soft and has a slight sweetness to it.The meat is not so thin that it's burned through, but is plenty greasy (I wouldn't go to a burger joint if I were worried about greasiness). I like the Pontiac: swiss cheese and mushrooms. The melted cheese covers the meat and the sauteed mushrooms give a slight acidity. I make a point to go to MGs anytime I go anywhere near Sherman. read more

I love going to MG's with my friends. They have delicious burgers, their service is great, and I absolutely love the 50s style decorations and music. They have vintage photos on the walls, and car-related decorations all over, which makes for a fun atmosphere, and kids seem to love it! When I went to MGs on Halloween, they gave me a box of Halloween-themed sugar cookies, which was awesome. However, I like a hearty burger, and their patties were underwhelming and underseasoned. I go there for the fries. read more

A must place to go if your in Sherman. Great food and wonderful service. Hood ornaments on the ceiling and antique license plates on the wall. Neon signs and a large front end of a bullet nose car coming out of the wall! Very cool place, we even drive our hot rod there just to eat hamburgers. This place has good food at a fair price. Can't recall the last time I had a bad meal here and we come here pretty often. The thing I don't get about this place is there bathrooms. Now hear me out. This place has been in business for years and has a very loyal customer base and every time we go here its busy. Problem is the bathrooms look like they have not been touched in 30 years. I mean come on, you wanna go wash your hands before you eat and you have to do it in that nasty bathroom. read more

the best chef salad that I've ever had I always get a double bun and double honey mustard and ate it off and on all day it's huge. I was wondering if you deliver because I'm homebound now and I have sure missed your salads. MG's is the best place in Sherman to get a burger, hands down. Well, hands full. The Portions are great, and you can't go wrong with their other options too. My personal favorite item is the chicken fried steak sandwich, which beats out places I have tried which specialize in chicken fried steak. Grab a slice of cake with your meal too, it's always fresh and moist, and the flavors rotate daily. The atmosphere here is great too, lots of vintage and antique car decor. This place has been around forever, and has always served awesome burgers in a cool environment. They just moved into a really neat building across from the old location too, and it's really well designed with a classic car on a lift next to the dining room. The building itself is dressed up like a retro gas station and has classic car paraphernalia throughout. It's also a very clean building, and offers outdoor dining with a nice shaded area. Some of the most AMAZING Hamburgers in Sherman!!! My favorite is the Cadillac which has BBQ Sauce on it and WOW does it make for a great burger. Blue Cheese dressing was good and thick and the salad large for a dinner salad. Seasoning on the rib eye steaks were very good and they were cooked to medium for me and medium rare for my husband. The cheesy potatoes were pretty good and husband's baked potato was fine (hard to screw up a baked potato). What was wrong. 1) Green beans tasted literally like they had been dumped out of a can and some commercial bacon bits thrown in and this is after we asked was there bacon in them. We expected real bacon, not bacon bits. No other seasonings could be tasted. 2) Rib Eye Steaks: My rib eye was ok, a little tough and gristly - I could eat it with a lot of chewing. Husband's was nothing but fat and gristle (see photo) - over a 1/3 was left on the plate because it was not edible. It is obvious that the steak is not a prime grade, but commercial grade or less. 3) We were also surprised that no rolls, toast or any type of bread was served with our meal. Their response was "we only serve with the BBQ". Guess this is an area where they cut back. I find it very hard to recommend this place for anything, especially with our first experience with the BBQ being so bad and now with the expensive steaks.
