They did such a good job on my birthday nails! I was nervous at first because the nail tech was moving so fast like she had 5 hour energy or something lol. I just wanted to make sure she was focused on the presentation too, and when we got to the end results she was! I am happy with my birthday nail set! Staff here is very helpful and welcoming, they pulled out the fans to cool us down, put on some nice music and brought us bottled water. I may have found my go-to nail shop.
I've been going here ever since I moved to Long Beach and I've been loving it. There is a short lady that always does my toes and manicures and shes amazing and always does a really good job. Recently I went in and I had a different lady do my manicure and I didn't like it. There was no costumers and she seems to be in a rush with it and the nail polish on my nails wasn't that great even tho the other lady used the same one on my toes and my toes came out lovely. I still love this place and I will still be going here but I'll just make sure to not get this lady again.
I left this place and cried in the car the whole way home. I can't believe I paid almost $100 to be this upset with my experience. - I needed a gel mani removed and the tech started using the Dremel (or whatever it's called) to remove the polish and seemed to not know how to properly remove gel polish - I asked several times to not have my nails buffed or ground down because my nails are very thin. I was pushed into allowing the guy the took over doing my nails to let him do ONE nail, and my did my entire hand and then asked me if it was okay. He could have texturized the plastic nail extension, like recommended, but even when I asked him to do that, he insisted that he had to grind my actual nail. This is what makes me the most upset. I DID NOT WANT MY NAILS BUFFED. And I said this several times. - I asked for my nails to be shorter because I don't like long nails and I am very outdoorsy. This was also disregarded - there are huge globs of glue under my nails (pictured) and it's very uncomfortable - one of my nails wasn't adhered properly and already has a bit of peel back on the edge: I went back in and asked him to fix it, and instead he took a file to it and told me it was fine - one of my nails is pretty crooked and upturned. It is uncomfortable and looks ridiculous - the guy that did my nails had a habit of 'not listening' or 'mishearing' or 'misremembering' whatever you want to call it. To several other guests he tried to upsell them with this method, I had to tell him two or three times I didn't want a pedi, another woman had to tell him at least three times that she didn't want gel polish, etc. this happened several times with several guests, to the point that it didn't seem like an accident. I absolutely will never be returning here. I should have left ask soon as I was feeling uncomfortable and not listened to by the tech, I wish I had walked out of the door right then.

The lady that did my feet left me in cold water for a hour. And the chairs were old with no massage settings When my nails were done my right middle finger was throbbing but i thought it would go away. The next day it hurt worse and by the 28th my nail was completely swollen. / went to another nail salon to get it removed and they told me my nail was infected. My nail was completely green and swollen. / called them and told them And the lady called me a liar ! I sent her a picture and she dismissed me. I have never been Treated so poorly im my life
I recommend MH Nails shop Christie does an amazing job she's Fast & efficient The shops very clean & cute. Also her pricing is very reasonable she's good with designs. Always happy with my results
My daughter picked this location to get something special for herself. She showed pictures and was very clear in her request. The man who did her acrylic nails was not very gentle, a little rough in fact. Then, after ONE HOUR of work, had the audacity to charge her $90 !!! Is this common for having some designs painted and some plastic objects glued to the nails?! I think he took advantage of a child who didn't know any better and she obediently handed over her allowance money! I have never heard that this type of nail would be so expensive! I had to stay outside in the car, parked illegally, because there's no parking here. I believe that since I wasn't there in his face, that he took advantage and totally ripped off my daughter. We won't return.
I'm posting this from my brother's account since I don't have a Yelp account. On 11/25/2025 I went in for a full set and a pedicure. This was a walk in. I think it was the owner that performed the pedicure and she was lovely, but I think it was her sister that gave me the full set. The tech was rough and then she did a design on one of my nails wrong. I end up going out of town for the holiday the next day (11/26/2025) and noticed that my right middle finger nail was hurting but I sucked it up and thought maybe it was just sore from how rough the nail tech was the previous day. The nail pain eventually became unbearable and I noticed that my nails wrong was swollen. I noticed this in 11/28/2025. On 11/29/2025, I went to another nail salon in Independence, MO called Family Nails and paid to have my nails fixed and she took the nail off and informed me that the nail was infected and that she was unable to replace the nail. I called MH Gel Beauty Nail on 11/29/2025 to inform her of the situation and started by just asking nicely if I could just get refunded the $50 for my full set (I paid $100 for both services). I believe I spoke with the salon owner and the owner started to have an attitude, interrupting me while I was speaking and saying that my nails was broken when I got there (it was but that was the reason I went in to get the service in the first place). She then was saying that the nail wasn't infected so I took pictures in several angles and sent her the pictures (attached). This is where I got upset and threatened to get an attorney involved. I did raise my voice because I was made to feel like a liar and kept getting interrupted. This is when I gave the phone to my brother to calmly try to resolve the situation. He asked who he was speaking to and she said Hung I believe. He also told her that I was complaining about the nail since the day I got to MO (the day after the service) and that pictures were sent and the finger was clearly infected. The salon stated that I would need to come in when I got back in town so that they can take a look at the nail to see what they can do for free. My brother stated that I didn't want to do that because the last time they performed on my nails, it got infected. The salon stated that she would have to get into contact with a Mike to contact the bank to see about a refund but 'Mike' would not be in until Wednesday or Thursday the following week. My brother asked if he could get 'Mike's' number and she stated that she cannot give that out. My brother asked what who he was speaking to again and her title. The person speaking stated that she had customers and hung up. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. From how I was treated while getting a full set, to my nail getting infected, to how I was treated while just trying to simply get a refund. I even noticed that the business is not even registered with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)!
Amazing service and BEAUTIFUL nails! Highly recommend. They also were able to fit us 3 in within the hour! The salon offers wax too so was able to get my eyebrows and upper lip done which was perfect. Everyone was very kind and welcoming.
Wonderful service. My nail technicians name was Christine and she was an absolute delight. I love when my nail technician is gentle and doesn't rush through the process. Besides all of that, my nails are dreamy. Thank you, Christine. PS. The whole vibe of the nail salon is peaceful and relaxing.
I made an appt for my little sister and I two weeks in advance, when we got there they were short staffed and communicated with us which I appreciated. I moved back to Socal and needed to re-establish a relationship with a new nail tech... I'm extremely picky about my nails, and I'm so happy to have finally found her!! Kristie did our gel-X nails and Kathy did our pedicures... they did an amazing job and were able to move clients pretty quickly while doing an amazing job!! Parking is bad, but that's the only negative for me. Both ladies were extremely pleasant the vibe was nice

lutely loved my experience at this nail salon! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional. The salon was clean, relaxing, and had such a calming vibe. My nail tech took their time, paid attention to detail, and made sure I was happy every step of the way. My nails came out beautiful -- exactly what I wanted, if not better! Absolutely love MH nails. I have been looking for a spot that does a great job and luckily I found them! They don't leave them thick and they always double check their work! Ive been to them 5 times and I'm so happy to have found them. Don't let the outside fool you, they don't have a lot of advertisement but once you go inside you'll be glad you chose them! I stopped by this week to get my nails done, gel X for my hands and spa pedicure for my feet. The style was cute but unfortunately one of my nails broke as I was closing my car door the very next day. I went back and the owner fixed it with no problems. I wanted to change my design while I was there and he was able to accommodate my request. Happy customer! read more

My new nail spot! I found them about 4 months ago when I needed some fun nails for an upcoming trip. All the technicians are great at taking any photo inspo and making the nail designs come to life. I'm very into the Korean/ Japanese style nails that have 3d components and they always make them awesome. read more

This is a cute place for quick nails. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I've gotten my nails here a couple of times and it was nice. My only hesitation is that it's a small place, so they're understaffed. I've seen them not respect appointments and rush through a service. My most recent experience was rushed, but the quality was still good. read more

This is my first review EVERR ... i don't usually do my nails because I've had bad experiences in other places.. so I been so scared of trying new places but I totally recommend this place its so clean and everyone is so nice, but what I love the most is the job that he does.. as well as his wife she did my pedicure and believe me shed did a good job, they are also really attentive ... I been coming down here twice already ... Im a really basic person, I requested this design recently and he went ahead and did them.. Jan is AMAZING. I've been going to Jan for two years now - and I am constantly impressed by his nail shape and art techniques. Even the most simple nails he's able to make it stand out. I've been in Long Beach for years, jumping from salon to salon to find a nail tech that can be CONSISTENT! This salon is everything and I highly recommend!! I've never been so positive about a nail tech but for the price point too he's great! Had to screenshot from a video for two of Jan's nails that he did, sorry for the blurriness. But as you can see, the shape is consistent and the designs are always on point! read more
