Good experience. Atmosphere- Fun, amazing paintings on the wall that glow. Smaller inside- booths and tables. Chips, ok only unfortunately - lacked some flavor Queso- white, delicious Enchiladas Suizas - 4, sauce was great (mother in laws recipe) Quesadilla- taco sized, good flavor Burritos- one was super large as shown, other variety was a bit small Taco salad- fresh, good flavor Service- Great, owner served us himself. Celebrated my daughters bday and he brought out dessert and a hat for her head. Definitely will try again, some specials offered, good 3rd party pickup flow.

Very nice family restaurant. Lovely decor. Service was fast and friendly. The food was nice. Good portions.

Churro Cheesecake had a nice contrast between the crispy churro exterior and creamy cheesecake filling - what a treat!

My friend and I were driving around the Jax Beach area, and it so happened to be that we were both in the mood for some good food. While in the car, he suggested that we try this new Mexican spot, and I thought, why not! Going in, the restaurant had a nice ambiance, with neat neon painting done on the walls, pleasant spanish music, and decent seating. Today we ordered 1x enchilada suiza, 1x birria beef tacos, and 1x churro cheesecake. Going into my review, I have to give credit where credit is due because everything was excellente! For starters, both entrees offered great portions for your buck. You can tell the enchiladas were made with fresh corn tortillas, stuffed with plenty and tasty shredded chicken, and topped with a delicious green poblano cilantro herbed sauce! The rice and beans that came with it, didn't disappoint either as the rice was nice and fluffy, and the beans has a smooth texture. As for the birria beef, these also were filled nicely, had tender shredded beef, and a flavorful consumè to dip with them! They do have an in-house hot salsa you can request that's awesome with any of the main dishes! Moreover, the churro cheesecake had a nice contrast between the crispy churro exterior and creamy cheesecake filling - what a treat! As for service, our server (who I believe was the owner), was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful with tips on ordering from the menu. Overall, the food and service was great, and this is one of my new favorite Mexican spots in Jax now, final review is a 5/5!

First impression: Vibrant painting on walls is so cute, makes for a fun atmosphere. My menu had what looked like salsa on it. Service: We sat ourselves. The waitress approached the table immediately. I asked for recommendations twice with no response, she seemed in a rush even though there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Food: I got the flautas. They were a little skimpy on the meat but okay. My lunch buddy enjoyed his tamale...I thought they should've had more filling. I would come back for taco Tuesday or HH so I can try their drinks and other items on the menu.

I have read many reviews on this hole in the wall so I wanted to check it out. It's definitely in a spot that you have to know about it. The artwork is unique inside and outside the box of most Hispanic restaurants. I personally liked it. The chips were on the stale side but the salsa very tasty. I ordered a ginger margarita which I had never had! If you come, it's a must if you like ginger. Excellent. I had a taco salad with shrimp grilled. It came out quick and was as I ordered. Very good and filling. It was a good experience and would like to come back soon. Strongly recommend and prices are not too bad for today's times!

My fiancé and I stopped here for an early lunch for tacos. They were really delicious, he got 4 tacos de al pastor and i got 3 tacos de asada. We also got two different types of salsa, one spicy and one mild. We ended up getting dessert too - the Chimi Cheesecake, which was absolutely amazing! The tacos were cooked great, not too chewy but they had great texture, only wish they had spicier salsa but the place was great nonetheless. Our server was really friendly and we even met the owner! We will definitely be coming back!

The ambiance was nice and there's plenty of seating here not including the bar. Service was great when we were seated, but once our meals were brought out it went downhill. Drinks were not refilled and it took FOREVER to get the check -- They did not bring out any Verde with the tacos and after 10 minutes of waiting I just ate them. There was another table seated when we arrived but we were the only ones here when it was time for the check. Not sure what's up with the service. The portion was lacking. There could have been more protein on the tacos. The amount billed did not match the menu.

    Tamales

The tamales and papas Guanajuato were DELICIOUS!! Great service, they were very friendly. The glow of the walls is just so cool too.

My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

The brewery has a really cool vibe to it, and they also have plenty of TVs where they were playing sports. I know they are a brewery and probably really good at it, but I came here for the pizza. Their selection is small but mighty. When we asked the staff what he recommended, he said all of them (not making it easy buddy). Since they are on the smaller size, we decided to get three and planning to take home some leftovers. My favorite by far was the Pancetta Garlic pizza. At the beginning I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of garlic, but damn was I wrong. The garlic was cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth. I don't think I've ever seen a similar pizza anywhere else, and made it even more surprising. Frankly the other two we had were also very delicious, but I truly give it the top spot to the prosciutto garlic. Last but not least, I like that they had THC on the menu. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, it is nice to see other options available on the menu.
