My #1 fav spot to meet friends for a glass of bubbles after work. Literally the friendliest staff who make you feel like a cherished friend. Do not sleep on this spot. They also host fun events each month. Happy hour too.

Cute spot! We came here from off of a recommendation from someone we met at an event. It's a nice, quaint, neighborhood bar. Good and different selection of wines. You can get them by the glass or buy them by the bottle. Music was nice. Big screen going with a live beach cam of Jacksonville beach. Lots of indoor space and a cute outdoor area. Would totally come back if we weren't moving. Everyone was super nice!

Remember that old adage, I want my MTV. Well move over MTV and hello Palm pantry. I was really intrigued about a wine bar and all it has to offer. We met the owner who was super nice and chill. On to the charcuterie nibbles and then to the piece de resistance, vino or wine because I want to sound bilingual. There were for wines to taste including a rosy upon entry. I sampled all for which were dry but I really like sweet. I ended up buying a bottle and having the time of my life. Who says nothing good is in Jacksonville. I beg to differ. Palm pantry has that small, intimate feeling with an outside patio to boot. Tell you friends and love ones that there is a wine bar in town. It is ours for the taking Thank you Palms Pantry and of course a legendary manager for a exciting but rainy evening!

Stopped in for a quick beverage. Ice cold beer and generous wine pours! Seems like a nice neighborhood spot. Casual decor and some interesting merchandise.

Adding to my review- been back 5 times, sometimes with a local gal pal, once with a out of towner, and once with my hubby. One thing is true- time always flies at Palms Pantry. The vibe is always so relaxed, the wine pourers are attentive, and the wines are tasty. On their anniversary party they made a champagne punch that was excellent! No matter the occasion or the season, I'll be back to hang out at Palms Pantry!

Cute little hidden gem! Officially opened back in September, I believe. They serve wine and beer for alcohol choices. Limited parking but close enough to the large parking lot by Planet Fitness and Publix. Check this place out for a cute date night, an after the boat drink or a ladies night! If you follow their social media it looks like they do fun events throughout the week!

    Date night! After dinner stop.

How convenient to have this neighborhood stop for a happy hour glass of wine on the way home or a coffee stop after weekend morning walk! Lindsay, the owner, is genuine, heartfelt, and does a great job of bringing people together. We always enjoy the camraderie at this location, whether with neighbors we know or complete strangers! Great ambiance!

    Yummy wine!!

Since it was a Tuesday morning, it was pretty quiet in the area and we had a private class with Chris. Chris was very thorough, starting with candle and fire safety. He took his time showing my daughter the process, from pouring, mixing, balancing the smells and everything in between. He knew a lot about scents and what goes well together. The shop itself was really nice and tidy. Bonus points on the "secret" room that had some gaming stuff like pool table, mini arcade area and some board games. I say secret because the connecting door is hidden as one of the shelves. He let us take our time in the room that is actually an adjoining room to his shop that has its own entrance/exit door. We could have also bought food from next door and the shop offers drinks. They have different events every month. Overall, it was a fun experience and worth checking out if you are looking for something different to do.

Seeing as that we're not big wine drinkers, we were very happy with the size of the meals, the size of the menu, and just overall the quality and taste of the food that we got. We also really loved that the server brought out some complementary pretzel bread to start us off, along with some butter, which was delicious. We ended up getting a nice bowl of soup that had some shrimp, lobster, and crab in it. It was a bisque, and it was absolutely delightful. Perfect size for just a cup, or if you want to get a nice bowl, that could be probably a meal for you or for someone else. The entrees were delicious, and for dessert we got this baked cookie or brownie sort of thing with ice cream on top. It was like this Reese's peanut butter cup sundae, and it was absolutely to die for. It was one of those meals that you come in hungry and you leave stuffed, and at the end of the meal you figure, "Okay, I'm done eating," but as soon as the server asks, "Would you like some dessert?" even though your stomach's pounding, you say yes. You have to say yes because it's so delightful. Definitely go back to Cooper's Hawk. Had an awesome time. We'll be back soon.

Well, I have to say that this restaurant can compete with the best in NYC, New Haven, and Providence or Boston! First and foremost, the service was top notch. The attentiveness and efficiency of our waiter was the best, but to top it off, 2 of the owners each came to the table to check on things. This is something that stands out today. I love it. The atmosphere was comfortable yet refined and the place is very clean. The dim lighting is a point that my wife appreciates in a restaurant setting, but our seats were probably the least lit, (our backs to the front window) and our old eyes needed our phone lights to read the menu, haha. The Arancini was perfect and we loved the marinara. My veal dish was magnificent with it's perfectly cooked, large and very tender cutlet. My wife fully enjoyed the Pappardelle con Vongole nero and I thought it was phenomenal. We can't wait to visit the best Italian restaurant in JAX again, when we return in October.

At the time, Mayport Cats was the branch that handled the feral cat colonies out by Mayport Base (TNR, feeding, vet care & evaluation to see if any could be placed for adoption). My aunt occasionally volunteered and contacted us about a 9mth kitten, that had delivered her own litter of kittens and was available for adoption but had been overlooked at several adoption events. My husband and I went to meet Clover, we immediately knew she'd be the perfect fit for our daughter (and boy oh boy has she been) and brought her home that day. Included in her paperwork was information about The Caffeinated Cat and our entire family was so excited to learn such a place existed. Several of our children have chosen to make donations of food, toys and treats (for the kitty residents of the cafe) for their birthdays and other milestones vs receiving gifts......and of course, we always procure some human treats for ourselves while there. Lastly, they stepped up and stepped in when we were experiencing a situation with a stray that had been dumped in our neighborhood (unfortunately it's quite common here). He was a stunning muted Siamese that adored people and dogs, but seemingly hated other cats although it seems that particular trait was due to the stress of being dumped and insecure (once he was no longer a "stray" the issue resolved)my kids named him Pig due to his pink nose. I was caring for him but couldn't bring him into our home, as he kept charging the glass door, hissing and growling every time one of our cats walked by. Sadly, he showed up badly injured one morning.....after an obvious fight with another cat, seemingly having lost his eye. I was heartbroken for him, I knew he needed to belong to someone.....he was not feral nor adjusting to the lifestyle well and that point seriously injured. I contacted Mayport Cats/The Caffeinated Cat with the hope of getting some guidance/advice but they instead offered to take him into their care. He was renamed "Merlin" because his eye somehow magically reappeared after being seemingly gone for 3 days and he healed beautifully, I'm not sure if he's still a resident or has been adopted but The Caffeinated Cat is an amazing place, that offers a unique experience that benefits our community ....If you are a cat or animal lover, you should definitely stop by, grab a drink and pet a fur baby! **Including photos of Clover and Pig aka Merlin

Last week of April 2026, my wife Judy and I were in Jacksonville/Atlantic Beach for a conference. While I was in session, she returned to our rental condo and got locked out due to a malfunctioning electronic door lock. She couldn't reach me (ringer off), so she walked down the street to Breezy. Owner Nancy Breezy immediately welcomed her with open arms. She lent Judy her personal phone so she could contact the condo owners to get the door fixed. Once that was handled, Nancy introduced Judy to the regulars, making her feel completely at home. Judy ordered a delicious latte and some gluten-free baked goods -- both were outstanding. On a deeper note, Judy has been through an incredibly tough couple of years with painful losses that had shaken her faith in human kindness. Nancy single-handedly restored that faith. Breezy feels like a quaint, neighborly oasis of love, fueled by Nancy's genuine goodness. Everything served here seems infused with what we now call "Vitamin L" -- pure love and warmth. Nancy didn't just help with a locked door -- she rescued my wife's spirit that day. If you're in Jacksonville Beach, make time for Breezy. You'll leave with great coffee, amazing treats, and an even bigger smile. Thank you, Nancy -- you are a gem!

While I wouldn't call this a go-to "work from a coffee shop all day" sort of spot. After asking around I found out this place has two floors the top floor has a space for daily office rentals. I am here on a Saturday and had no problem finding a place to work from on the first floor.  I asked Katie who was walking by and was super helpful about why it is called Ink Factory Brewing. This place used to be where Void Magazine was written and published hence "Ink Factory".  I was pleasantly surprised. The space is large enough that I found a quiet corner and even managed to snag a power outlet. The staff didn't seem bothered at all by me settling in with my laptop. That said, Ink Factory feels more like a place to hang out try the coffee, grab some food, maybe have a beer rather than a dedicated work spot. The space immediately gives off a relaxed beach vibe white walls, local artwork, surfboards, and beach apparel everywhere. It feels equal parts coffee shop, hangout spot, and beach town brewery. My coffee was spot on. Emily was awesome and helped me build a custom drink: an iced coffee with a shot of espresso, mocha syrup, topped with cold foam. Not only did it taste great, but she made it look so good that people sitting at the bar asked what I ordered. This kind of care and presentation really stood out.  If they're really busy, finding an outlet could be tough. Parking is also a bit limited for such a large space, but that's pretty typical for the beach area. Not the place I'd camp out every weekday, but definitely somewhere I'd come back to.
