This place is lit up like a Christmas tree on the outside. I appreciated it since it is dark in this plaza. The inside is simple. I don't particularly like hard wood booths. It's also ethnically decorated. I liked that my food came out with sauces that resembled the Mexican Flag. I would eat here again. The food was good. I ordered a chimichanga. The flavor was slightly different than the Tex-Mex flavors I am used to receiving. This had like a salt, paprika undertone. Also, they serve chips and dip. I ordered a Margarita but I had to send it back because it tasted like water.

I've had this place on my bucket list forever! I was at St. Vincent's area after work today. So, I made a point to stop in for a margarita and a meal. I am so glad I did. I had a margarita and they were BOGO, so two was the magic number. I had the California burrito, chips and salsa following with Tres Leches(milk cake). I sat at the bar, since I was solo tonight. Mariafe was my Waitress. She was great. All of the Waitresses helped out as a team. A plus for that. Pros: great atmosphere, parking, food, drinks and service. Cons:none that I can think of. Recommend:yes!!!

Me and Chris came in for dinner, I didn't know this place was here in a Lil strip mall off Bowden. It's your typical Mexican place, chips and salsa upon sitting down, we saw they were doing bogo on margs so got 2 of those and they were ok, very light on the alcohol. What did redeem them was the molcajete we got it to share and it was so tasty! Filled with all the stuff, steak, chicken, sausage, shrimp, veggies, loved the slices of melty cheese! Came with rice and beans and tortillas to make your own tacos if wanted. We finished it off and we're nicely full. Enjoyed that!

Tasty meal and love the wall murals. I went since it is so close to our house. The ribs immediately grabbed my attention as I had some amazing ribs before that were chile rubbed. So I figured lets try it..The verdict is these Colorado ribs were so tasty slightly crispy with that al pastro salsa was one point. It had a nice kick to it which I'm here for the spice. Definitely will get again.

My friend and I needed to burn sometime before my doctors appointment so we said why not lunch. We arrived at 11 am and there were quite a few people already eating there . We ordered the lunch special at 12.99 . Plates were large and food was bountiful . I could not finish my lunch and neither could my friend . Super tasty and not greasy and not too spicy which I like . Not a fancy place but looks clean and service is good .

When I saw someone post this huge, meaty plate of goodness called La Parrilla, we had to stop by and try it. It's made to feed two. Skirt steak, grilled chicken, pork ribs, corn, chile toreado, spring onion, a bacon-wrapped shrimp skewer, cactus, sausage, and chorizo (yep, all per the menu). Served with white rice and frijoles borrachos on the side. An absolute feast! But the sausage and chorizo and bacon wrapped shrimp were missing on ours. Other pictures posted had them. Pretty bummed! Oh well, still pretty good lunch.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the space felt inviting. It wasn't very busy around 5:30, so we were seated quickly, and chips and salsa were brought to the table. Our waitress, Ginevra, was incredibly sweet and attentive. What We Ordered: Flautas (Appetizer) They had good flavor, though I would have preferred them fried a little longer for extra crunch--more like my mom's. Still, they were enjoyable. Carne Asada with Corn Tortillas My husband liked it and said it was on par with similar dishes he's had elsewhere. The beans weren't refried but were made with smoked sausage and beef, which was a unique touch. He's picky about his rice, but he thought it was really good! Everything was flavorful. Mojito Tropical (Mocktail) This was really refreshing, but next time, I'd try it with alcohol for an extra kick. Limonada de Coco (Mocktail) Absolutely delicious! I would 100% order this again, even without alcohol. Deep-Fried Burrito with Fries and Queso on the Side Since I'm not a fan of flour tortillas, I was excited to try the deep-fried burrito. I added onions and peppers, and it ended up being the best burrito I've had in Jax! There was a slight hint of sweetness in it, which was unexpected but worked well. The dish came with fries, which felt a little random, but they were crispy and well-cooked. If you prefer, you can swap them for rice and beans or another side. Overall, it was a great experience with delicious food and friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

I came across this place via Instagram and let me just say Thank You Instagram. They've only been open for a few months so they don't have their liquor license at the moment. But can serve wine so they have a Wine-Rita they promoting. The hostess greeted us as we entered the establishment with a smile, that already made me feel good about picking this place to eat. Our waitress came over as soon as we sat down and she was Awesome. Her name isn't coming to mind but once again she was Awesome. She asked if this was our first time at Señoritas and my Fiancée and I said yes. Then she asked how did we hear about the place in which we told her an Instagram post. She smiled and said Great Choice. We then continued to look over the menu and with each section we read her and I could have chosen many different things off the menu. She settled for Chimichangas, while I had the Fajita Burrito. First off her Chimichangas were deliciously well put together and made with absolute love. The beef was seasoned to perfection while the rice packed with flavor and you couldn't resist. My Fajita Burrito was a mixed of Steak, Chicken and Shrimp and cheese with rice and peppers topped with Guacamole sauce on top of the Burrito. Once again the Burrito was made to perfection. With every bite it was pure orgasm inside my mouth. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Our favorite Mexican restaurant we always said was hard to top but we both agreed Señoritas is now our #1 Mexican spot! The ambiance of the restaurant was calm and at ease. The decor of the place was so cool and once again our service was outstanding. It's save to say we will be returning to Señoritas and we will become regulars.

Stopped at Senoritas based on their reviews and that we were close. It was a gloomy day and their bright lights outside made them stand out and look very inviting. The 2 for 1 margaritas were a great invitation as well. The food, drinks and service were outstanding. Alexandria took great care of us and made us feel like regulars. Looking forward to going back again soon.

We had such a great experience here! From start to finish everything felt welcoming and upbeat -- our waitress was absolutely wonderful and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. What we ordered: * Mexican Coke -- always hits the spot! * Esquite - $7.99 10/10! This was hands down the best thing I tried -- flavorful, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. I'll definitely be coming back just for this! * Quesabirria Tacos (Pork) - $15.99 7.5/10. Great value for what you get and super filling! * Pollo Borracho - $14.99 8/10. Tender chicken with just the right kick of flavor. * Kids Chicken Fingers with Refried Beans - $7.99 Bean-approved! * Flan - $7.99 10/10 Absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to the meal! Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The atmosphere was cheerful, the service was fast, and you could tell the staff genuinely cared about making sure guests had a great experience. We'll definitely be back soon -- that flan and esquite alone are worth the trip!

What I ordered versus what I got. Mexican Wings. They did not look like the picture advertised and tasted undercooked, not crispy at all.
    Kya G.

Ordered delivery from this place and probably will never spend money here again. The wings that were advertised as crispy, were not crispy at all and seemingly undercooked. Very unappetizing.

    Flautas
    Varsha P.

This is a local woman owned and family run restaurant offering authentic Mexican flavors with a modern twist. I decided to try the flautas for my appetizer since I had never heard of them before, and I'm so glad I did because they were DELICIOUS!! They're fried corn tortillas rolled and filled with chicken, topped with sour cream, pico, guac, and queso. For my main entree, I ordered the chicken chimichanga, and it was so flavorful and fresh! They served it with a side of rice and beans that perfectly complemented the meal. I highly recommend this new place to all my friends! My order: Flautas & Chicken Chimichanga

Senoritas was a pleasant surprise near and in the southside area off of Bowden rd. The owner and servers were excellent. The food was delicious and the drinks were cold and refreshing. From start to finsh, there was not a stone unturned. The restaurant is where the former Mr. Taco used to be. The owner says she may be expanding to include 2 more locations near you. Music was a vibe all by itself. The restaurant is spacious. There is a bar area and on those cool night, outside seating would be a treat. In english,] senoritas means young ladies. The owner and the servers make the restaurant look sooo good. When in the Bowden rd area, right off of interstae 95, is a mexican restaurant for the gods. Come and sample some of the finest mexican cuisine and drink. Hasta luego, Senoritas. In other words, see you again real soon.

It was evident they marinated the goat and cooked it perfectly as it is so tender and juicy! I also enjoyed a slice of a quesadilla. But I think the menu item that stole the show was my friends chipotle adobo, which was a half chiken. The chicken was succulent and savory! And the roasted brussel sprouts that came with it were so good! I ordered my favorite cocktail, the blood orange margarita, which I also sampled at the Yelp event. I look forward to going back and ordering new menu items as I want to try everything eventually;)

I had my first meal there when I visited Jacksonville Beach recently. Got the grilled bone-in yellow snapper, which was a daily special. Fresh, meaty, smoky. It was served with mixed greens and apple salad, some grilled green onions and freshly made corn tortillas. All paired well with the fish. The tortillas were about 0.75oz per piece. Moreover, the dish was served on a HUGE cutting board! I also ordered a side of Spanish rice, but surprisingly the manager took it off from my bill, saying that "[he was] glad that I enjoyed the meal so much"! The first meal was indeed impressive; it had been a while since I had had such Mexican food last time. So I decided to give it another try the next evening. Ordered the Carne Asada (asked for rare) and sub the beans with extra tortillas (to avoid high GI food). But the steak was disappointing: the first time it was served ~medium-well. The second time it was ~medium-rare so I did not complain twice. However, it was quite chewy. One reason was that, as you can see from my picture, the meat was not rest long enough before it was sliced and served. Service was good, friendly and quick. The restuarant was a bit noisy but I enjoyed the energy. Moreover, there were lots of beautiful decors and murals. I really like the tiger painted on the wall of their main dining area. So in short, I would recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food. I would recommend the seafood and slowly-cooked stuff, like their short rib and pork shank. And I will dine in again the next time I visit Jacksonville Beach.

First the good: the food was excellent-harkening back to the taste and quality when the restaurant opened in Fleming Island a number of years ago. I had enchiladas de mole- two corn tortillas stuffed with chicken and covered in a wonderful mole sauce- bittersweet with a touch of heat-one of the best I've had in Jacksonville. It came with a typical Mexican rice and refried beans that were good but pretty standard. My brother had the shrimp fajitas which was a giant serving of shrimp. and mixed veggies perfectly cooked and brought to the table sizzling hot. It came with the usual side of refried beans, rice and salad with guacamole, pico de gallo and topped with cheese. It was huge and delicious. we also received a basket of fresh chips and a newer, spicier chunky salsa that was also delicious. Now the bad: When I showed my birthday margarita reward to our eager and efficient waiter he had to ask how that worked because he was new. He came back to our table and told me that "this restaurant doesn't participate in that rewards promotion. Disappointed, I left my table and went to the greeter's stand to speak to the manager and was told that there wasn't a manager in the restaurant that day (it was a Thursday) and they couldn't honor the reward unless a manager was present. I was pretty upset by this since my reward expired the next day. I returned to our table, paid the bill and before I could get up my free birthday margarita magically appeared in a to go cup. In short, while the food was very good, and the atmosphere was still warm and cozy, the management is still uneven (or non-existent) which has turned Peppers from a must visit to a sadly iffy proposition.
