Senorita's Mexican Kitchen is on Bowden Road in the southside of Jacksonville, Florida and is an amazing option if you are craving Mexican and in the area. Walking in, the ambiance was pleasant enough. Nothing high-end or overly fancy, but pleasant and had murals of women painted on the wall. The service was friendly and only added to our overall experience here. We both went with items off of the lunch menu, which was like eleven dollars and included a drink. I went with their bowl and my client had the California burrito. While my bowl was very good, the California burrito looked absolutely amazing and my client raved about it. Senorita's Mexican Kitchen is in a rather nondescript shopping plaza, but it made for no issues with parking. I would definitely recommend a visit here and I will say that I will return to Senorita's Mexican Kitchen. I will give Senorita's Mexican Kitchen five stars for a great lunch. read more

My lunch visit went well, ordered off the brunch menu. They served chips & salsa and as a drink, the limonada de coco was refreshing and tangy. But my party and I were turned off by the fact that they let a group of people bring a puppy inside the restaurant. The puppy was eating bits of food off the floor and jumping on servers and food runners, the kids would pick up the dog and put it near the table so I hope tables are deeply sanitized. Not sure they'd have the same energy if I came in with my 70lb Doberman... Dog was not a service animal and it just really wasn't a great first impression of this place, which is unfortunate because servers were nice, the food was good and decently priced, and it was decorated nicely. Unfortunately I am unsure how I feel because this is unsanitary, and I am a dog owner myself. Please just don't do this. You never know who is watching or in your restaurant. read more

Treated myself for lunch at a local and family owned Mexican restaurant @senoritasjax today! Staff, management and owner were very kind and helpful while choosing an entree to choose. I sat at the bar to be as close to the kitchen as possible. The dining area was very comfortable and spacious. The interior decors colors were vibrant and cool to look at. Customer service was truly excellent! Complimentary chips and fresh salsa accompanied my "Burrito Bowl" lunch menu special. I ordered the steak as the protein choice for this tasty bowl. I've had this place on my bucket list forever! I was at St. Vincent's area after work today. So, I made a point to stop in for a margarita and a meal. I am so glad I did. Me and Chris came in for dinner, I didn't know this place was here in a Lil strip mall off Bowden. It's your typical Mexican place, chips and salsa upon sitting down, we saw they were doing bogo on margs so got 2 of those and they were ok, very light on the alcohol. What did redeem them was the molcajete we got it to share and it was so tasty! Filled with all the stuff, steak, chicken, sausage, shrimp, veggies, loved the slices of melty cheese! Mojito Tropical (Mocktail) This was really refreshing, but next time, I'd try it with alcohol for an extra kick. Limonada de Coco (Mocktail) Absolutely delicious! I would 100% order this again, even without alcohol. Deep-Fried Burrito with Fries and Queso on the Side Since I'm not a fan of flour tortillas, I was excited to try the deep-fried burrito. I added onions and peppers, and it ended up being the best burrito I've had in Jax! There was a slight hint of sweetness in it, which was unexpected but worked well. I came across this place via Instagram and let me just say Thank You Instagram. They've only been open for a few months so they don't have their liquor license at the moment. She settled for Chimichangas, while I had the Fajita Burrito. First off her Chimichangas were deliciously well put together and made with absolute love. The beef was seasoned to perfection while the rice packed with flavor and you couldn't resist. My Fajita Burrito was a mixed of Steak, Chicken and Shrimp and cheese with rice and peppers topped with Guacamole sauce on top of the Burrito. Once again the Burrito was made to perfection. With every bite it was pure orgasm inside my mouth. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Our favorite Mexican restaurant we always said was hard to top but we both agreed Señoritas is now our #1 Mexican spot! The ambiance of the restaurant was calm and at ease. The restaurant is on the smaller side (maybe 10 tables total). Nothing went wrong during our visit but also nothing that really stood out. I've gotten the enchiladas and their three amigas combo with enchiladas, taquitos and a taco which was also really good. The rice had an authentic flavor, however I didn't like the beans and my friends quesadilla was very greasy which is the only reason I'd give them a 4-4.5.
