Let's starts off with the food, I ordered two tilapia tacos that were amazing, the fish was fresh, had good flavor, you can tell that the fish was fresh because it didn't have that weird fishy taste. The selection of sauces that come with the complementary chips are very good. The waitresses are pleasant and have good hospitality. I was hoping for a good experience since I've been here before, however I was highly disappointed. While the location, decor and vibe stood out, the food saddly did not follow suit tonight. The chips and salsa were very bland and lacking of flavor. Salt helped some, but not enough and most were left uneaten. I ordered a margaritas with dinner and advising the waitress that I had not received it, 20 minutes later she returned apologizing and saying it was on the way. I ordered the Quesatacos de Birria. The presentation was nice, but once again completely lacking in flavor. Both the quesataco and consume required a lot of salt. And I am not a heavy salter. My little girl had 2 plain grilled chicken tacos which again were very bland. I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen today but today's experience definitely did not mimic past experience. I finally received my drink as we were waiting on the check, so I utilized that as my "dessert". This was actually the highlight of the dinner. The bar knows what they are doing. When I first arrived here, I was second-guessing my choice because while I was initially greeted, I wasn't told that I could choose where I want to sit so after the initial staff spoke to me, it took about 60 seconds for me to realize that I had to sit myself outside. Once that was over with everything was up from there, I had the sweetest server Seidel who gave some awesome recommendations for appetizers and drinks. Food was very good and the pitcher drink was good and strong although you need to make sure you follow it up with plenty of water!!! :) All of the banners and decorations are nice, I love the lighting and as it begin to get a little cooler they instantly lowered the shades and turned on the outside heaters. Came in with my friends for the first time after the pride parade. I could overlook my margarita arriving in a mini solo cup, but when everyone's food but mine arrived, I was a bit upset. I ordered pibel, and they offered carnitas as a substitute. Overall the food and experience was disappointing, and I don't see myself going back. read more

I must admit that I've had better fajitas before. The food was very tasty, but it wa she service that put this visit over the top. There were 9 of us on several tickets and our waitress was beyond attentive. Not only was everything flawlessly delivered, she made sure that if there was any questions, they were asked before the order went in. Visited:: 30AUG25. First time trying this place out. I love the 5 points area. Ordered queso for our chips and salsa. My girlfriend and I both agreed that the queso there is the best. Only because for once it wasn't like soupy it was actually thick, ya know stayed in the chip instead of trying to run off the side. She ordered a chicken quesadilla with grilled onions and the queso on top. Bigger then what she thought but def worth it a really good. I got the California burrito minus pico chose black beans. Really a great tasting burrito the tortilla shell was a little dry would recommend queso on top or something of that nature. Well, we ended up here cause my drunk friend insisted this is where she wanted to go. My pleas to go somewhere else fell on deaf ( drunk) ears, I said think of the food!!! I recently visited 904 Taco on 6/6/26 at 12:17 am and was looking forward to the tacos since I've been here before. However, this time I was highly disappointed not only with the food but the service was a little off. The thing that really disappointed me the most was when I received the bill. They had added an 18% gratuity. I thought this was an mistake because I knew if it was a party of 6 or more they usually included that fee but, it was only two of us. Last night we stopped by 904 Tacos for a little fellowship and good vibes. It's right in the Five Points area... a solid local spot. We weren't really there for a big meal... mostly just wanted some beer and wings while we hung out. Our group grabbed a table and right away they brought out some complimentary chips and salsa. That salsa was fresh... you could really taste the veggies in it. Great flavor and not the watery kind you sometimes get. Definitely made in-house. We got a couple pitchers of beer and they came with frosty mugs... always a win. We made our way through them pretty quick and our waitress was happy to keep them coming... might've had one too many but hey, that's fellowship. The wings came out hot and crispy. No breading... just fried up nice and clean. We tried the Mexican special sauce and the habanero BBQ. I leaned toward the spicy side... the habanero had a good kick. Others went with the milder one, but both had solid flavor. Good wings... good beer... good people. I met up with a friend here while in town. It was about 30 mins before closing. They still took us and didn't rush us to order. Our waitress was really sweet. I wasn't very hungry so I only ordered a drink and enjoyed the chips and salsa she brought out. She let me try the horchata which I was thankful for. I love 904 Tacos so far! I've been there twice but this is my first review. The peach margarita was strong and I should've stopped at one but I finished two and left drunk. I only ordered the carnitas taco Mexican style (cilantro and onions) and a side of rice and beans. Honestly I judge most Mexican places by their rice and beans but 904 pasted the test from the drink, to the chips and salsa, to the entrée! My friend ordered the chicken tacos and he enjoyed them as well. Oh, their customer service is great too. Everyone engages with everyone so it makes things run smoother. They have a no refund policy on food and drinks which I'm not really a fan of, but our server fixed the mishap a quickly so there was no issue. I definitely recommend this place and honestly they're probably in my Top 5 for Mexican spots in Jax. read more

Oddly it's my first time at 904 Tacos even though I live only a couple miles away. Most likely it has to do with the general lack of available parking in the area. The food was very good, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant seemed very clean. The entrance through the patio and past the kitchen exit was a little odd. We had the taco salad with steak, chimichurri taco, and the Cancun shrimp taco. There are many options in Jax for Mexican food but 904 is a good option if you're in the area and already have a parking spot. read more

This taco spot is so cute! Love the outdoor patio! We stopped in for a late lunch around 3 pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was still pretty busy! I expected small street tacos, but these were a really nice size. The vegan one had grilled fajita veggies and the mahi in the other taco was flaky. These tacos were good. One fish taco was $7, which I did think was way too high. Would love to see a fish taco combo on there if you want to get more than 1. My boyfriend enjoyed the al pastor tacos and also couldn't believe how big they were. They have great prices and great service here. The second time we went for happy hour and margs were only $4. I've been to 904 Tacos a few times and never had a problem this time was the one that made me not want to come back. I walked in and waited for a table for five minutes since no one was around I came in and sat down at the bar. A few moments later, finally a bartender noticed me and handed me a menu. I asked if there were any specials. The bartender mentioned a house margarita, then I asked how much it was, then the bartender started making it. I didn't ask for a drink just how much it was. I then ordered a chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. Food was ok, service needs some improvement. About 30 minutes after I left I became sick and threw up all food. But the entrees were so bad, I didn't even eat half of what I ordered. Same with my significant other. Neither of us are picky eaters. I walked into the dining room ready to see a Spanish decor and did not see alot of changes from the previous establishment except a cool wall with a Aztec design but thats okay as long as the food has vibes of their own. 904 taco is a nice place that would taste great after a night of drinking in 5 Points. But totally sober on a Sunday it was mediocre and frankly a bit disappointing. We tried the standard ceviche and found it to be very spicy and lacking flavor typical of the dish at other Mexican restaurants. The birria tacos were particularly oily and the dipping sauce that was more a detriment than a flavor enhancer. Finally the beer was almost room temperature and my wife's sangria a bit watery. When combined with elevated prices the whole experience will add up to a one time visit. read more

SmOur server was nice and attentive, though it was around 2 on a Sunday so it wasn't very busy. Sat on the patio under a fan which was nice as it's August in FL. My husband got some street tacos which were just okay. The compechano (steak and chorizo) was just charred meat with a little bit of lettuce and cheese thrown on top. The birria was all right, but we've definitely had better and it didn't come with the dipping sauce - not sure if it was forgotten or if that's just how they do it. He regretted not ordering specialty tacos like I did. The Taco Del Mar (mahi) was pretty good, but lacked some flavor. The Cancun shrimp taco was really good with lots of flavor from their "special sea sauce" though it did have a bit of a kick to it (for reference, I usually order mild in terms of spice/heat). As far as tacos go, I think there are better places in the area to try. But if you're looking for a larger menu and liquor, then it's definitely worth a try! read more
