    3 beef tacos
    Katie B.

Came on a Friday evening with some friends and the kids. No wait, got right in. It was moderately busy. Service was okay- got my 1st margarita at the same time kids were getting their food. The guys had had their beers for about 10 minutes by the time my drink came. We got a couple queso dips- flavor wasn't bad but the consistency was super thick and needed to be warmed more to make it thinner and easier to dip. We got a variety of entrees: the kids menu had a variety and all 3 kids ordered something different (quesadilla, chicken strips, grilled chicken). The kids ate the quesadilla and chicken strips super quickly so had to have been good. The French fries were great- perfect breading and crispiness. Adults got the chori chicken, 3 beef tacos, pollo loco, and 2 mix & match tacos (cheesesteak taco & porky pig taco). My husband gave the chori chicken a 3/5. The beef tacos were good. My favorite taco was the porky pig. The carnitas was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the pickled onions and avocado sauce on top. The cheesesteak taco was decent but the steak wasn't as tender as I would've hoped. Our server was very nice but I think she had a lot of tables to tend to so she didn't come around as often as usual. With the name of the place, I was expecting more of a counter service, mostly taco place, but this was a typical Mexican restaurant with a larger variety of taco specials than normal.

We loved this place. It has unique and interesting decorations and ambiance. I also liked that they have a nice outdoor seating. Perfect for nice weather with my kiddos! The food was also great. Chips are not too hard to bite for me and love the crunch. Also salsa tastes very fresh. All the food we ordered were delicious! Would love to go back here and try their other menu. Service was also fast and staffs were really nice!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Everytime I come there's good service, great food and even better music! I bring all of my friends and family here and when they ask what to get I say anything because it's seriously all SOO GOOD! If you're going for tacos i'd recommend the average person to try atleast 2-3 and if you're hungry get a couple tacos and something of the starters menu! Their drinks are phenomenal and you can even take home a margarita jug. Next time you see this place stop in!!

Service was very good. The booths were very large, so we had lots of room. I had a margarita that was good, but there was so much ice and not much liquor. We had Taquitos as an appetizer and they were only ok. I was happy with everything else, but especially the 904 tacos. The 904 taco was outstanding! If I go there again I'm getting all steak 904 tacos.

A friend and I came here for dinner the other night and it was good. Nothing to write home about, but it was good. The 904 tacos were great. The wait staff not as friendly as I'm used to, but that's OK. We don't always have the best of days.

Quick service, pleasant waitress. Came midday on a Sunday with two of my kids. Queso with chorizo- warm and gooey, some grease Surf and turf Taco- definitely had a good kick, and flavor. Porky Pig- Pork carnitas taco- ok, meat kind of fatty California burrito- super large, good, at least two meals. Two chicken tacos- one with shredded chicken and one with diced. I tried and preferred the diced. Super tender. Two of us had a side of rice, basic Mexican rice. Will try again.

We needed a back up taco place to go to as the first place we chose was closed and didn't open until 4. Off to old reliable.... Parking at lunchtime as not the greatest but we were able to find a spot just as we pulled in. We walked in and we were sat immediately near the front door. They had a lunch special going on where you can get 3 specialty tacos for $9.99 and most of us agreed that we were going to get that. I had decided before we got there that I was going to get a marg so when our server came over I chose the One Night in Tamarind (Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind vodka, watermelon puree, lime juice, agave, tamarindo candy stick, tajin rim). He asked me "single or double?" and I said "double". I could not shove enough chips and salsa into my mouth to soak up the alcohol. It was kinda strong but I liked it. For the tacos I got the: Bacon Cheeseburger Taco (exactly what it sounds like but in taco form) Taco Fresco (skirt steak, pico de gallo, queso fresco) The Shroom Taco (grilled chicken, mushroom, shredded cheese, queso dip) Honestly, the bacon cheeseburger taco was pretty good. Blasphemy! I know but it really was. The other two were good but somehow the cheeseburger taco did it for me. The tacos came out with a huge side plate of rice and beans. I couldn't finish them all and ended up leaving a third if not half behind. The Lunch deal was a pretty good bargain and I hope they keep it around.

    Fajita Burrito

Staff members are great. Very polite and attentive. Some drinks are two for one, good deal. Ordered the fajita burrito. Loaded with steak, chicken, and shrimp. It was awesome. I been here for happy hours., which is everyday from 2pm to 6pm. I tried the happy hour empanadas,. Three nice size empanadas that were good. A very good deal. Highly recommend this place. Forgot to mention, they have complementary chips and salsa. Made in-house salsa. A lot of food at a decent price. They are far above other Mexican restaurants.

Quesa-Birria stuffed empanadas 3 per order with pickled red onions! Delicious

FANTASTIC empanadas filled with Birria beef and melt cheese!!! Tacos Tuesday $3.49 any taco &$6.99 special drinks. Happy Hour 2-5p 1/2 price appetizers! 3 empanadas for $5! Friendly fast service!

I think this spot, this location in particular, is so underrated. I've always had great service here, in and out in a reasonable amount of time, and the food and drinks are good. The drink specials are awesome here! If that's all you are looking for, take them up on it! Are these the best tacos in Jax? No. But for what you get, price and value wise, I think they get the job done and I'm happy with what I get in return. I liked my Birria quesadilla and my Frida margarita. They even let me substitute for my fave tequila for this drink (maestro dobel) without hesitation. I've been here a few times now bc to me this location is pretty convenient when I'm out and about near Southside and TownCenter. I would come back, & each time I do, I try to bring someone new so they also see the potential this place has. It's really fun and I think it's great for drinks and a quick bite to eat!

    West Coast Burrito
    Logan A.

My Fiancée and I ordered food for pickup from here and had an overall pleasant experience. The Quesibirria was an intriguing and decently executed dish. It's really nice that it comes with sour cream, Birria and an Avocado dipping sauce. The quesadilla was a bit dry overall, but obviously the sauces make up for it. The Birria was a little lacking in flavor for me, but I really did enjoy the avocado dip as a go to. We also had a west coast burrito. The fries were honestly the standout for me. Double fried and crunchy while still Maintaining a soft and tasty inside, they were amazing on the side. Unfortunately they turned a bit mush inside the burrito, but it was so well packed that I could easily overlook that. I'd definitely come back here. For the price and portion size it can't be beat, and the theming is honestly quite nice inside too. Would love to dine in sometime soon.

Spicy señorita. Very good! Perfect amount of spice.

Came in as a group of 5 and were easily seated outside. All the tables out there were huge. Our server was very attentive. I got a spicy Jalapeño margarita and was able to tell them that I liked spicy and they made it spicier and it was perfect. All of my tacos were delicious. We had someone at the table that got the Birria tacos...THOSE were great! All in all it was a great spot for a big group.

Fiery Fish Taco and Chipotle Shrimp Taco
    Mindy P.

Met a guy here for a first date and really glad he picked this place! The chips and salsa were really good and we also tried the queso dip appetizer. It was a large portion of white melted gooey cheesiness!! We both tried the specialty tacos for our lunch and I loved every bite of mine! I enjoyed the Fiery Fish Taco with fried fish, onions, avocado, sriracha ranch, & lime habanero cabbage. The fish was decadent and the sauce really hit the spot. I also had the pleasure of consuming the Chipotle Shrimp Taco with grilled shrimp, cabbage, pico de gallo, and homemade chipotle sauce. Succulent, juicy shrimp cooked perfectly and the sauce was incredible!! Both tacos exhibited the perfect melding of flavors and textures. I'll most definitely be back again and would probably order the exact same specialty tacos because I loved them so much!!

The floors were sticky and our shoes stuck to the floor. The women's restroom was out of order. The kiosks seem like a good idea but nobody there to ask questions or to get your drinks. If you can catch one of the two people working as they bring out orders you are lucky. The menus on the kiosks are pretty informative though and tell the ingredients for each item. Kiosk automatically adds 20% tip unless you change it. Considering you don't have any interaction with employees until they bring out your order other tipping options might apply. They cook to order which is nice except you don't get your drinks or your appetizers until it's your turn. There is a comment section to type no tomatoes or special instructions. Mine still came out with tomatoes but they promptly remade it for me. The food is pretty good. No complaints there other than having to remake one of my tacos. The chips and queso was pretty good. Chips were dusted with spices and served hot. We tried 6 different tacos and they were all very good. The tortillas were toasted on the grill which makes a big difference. You can get flour or corn tortillas. The chicken and steak were marinated before grilling and were big cubes and plentiful. The menu has a pretty big variety including a kids menu with chicken and fries. The last comment is their fountain machine for drinks. The coke tasted off. They may need to recalibrate it. Drinks are served in small clear throw away cups and the lids don't fit very well. Refills are hard to get. You have to wait for someone to come out of the back. If these small complaints don't bother you the food is very good.

I ordered the Shrimp Tacos (corn tortillas, lettuce, breaded fried shrimp, chipotle mayo, and cilantro) minus pico & they were great. The shrimp were freshly fried and steaming hot. I had to wait a bit because a large catering order was being finished as I arrived. The manager offered me a free Jarritos and apologized profusely for my wait. I took it as a good sign that their tacos are that popular plus it gave me time to enjoy the gorgeous murals by ARTBYJAE.
