I was driving by and randomly decided to give this place a shot. I was welcomed by a friendly face and pleased by how clean the carry out area was. I was also impressed by the artwork outside. The food came out fresh and hot. This was my first time tasting mofongo and I was very impressed!!! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the salad complemented the entree very well. The empanadas were a bit pricey but they tasted AMAZING so it was worth it. I intend to stop by again and show support for this good, wholesome carryout. The food is made with love and it shows!

Omgomgomgomg THE SHRIMP EMPANADAS THE SHRIMP EMPANADAS THE SHRIMP EMPANADAS!!! I've driven past this food truck about 20 times, and when I think about it, I want to cry. Like bawl my eyes out. I've been sleep. Wrong. Dead. The food is SO DELICIOUSLY AMAZING. I don't regret much in my life, but not making several u-turns will sit with me the rest of my days. Flaky crust. Piping hot. Amazing seasonings. Delicious meats. What more do you need?? At $4 for beef and about $5 for shrimp, my bf and I grabbed one of each just to try. When you order, they take down your vehicle description so that they can bring it to you, super cool! We sat and waited less than 5 mins and when we got our empanadas and lemonade, (also comes with a mayo sauce), we INHALED them. And immediately got out the car to order 6 more. Totally worth it. It's located on Ronald Reagan and I wish I could live in this truck.

The most amazing Latin food freshly made! Do not be in a hurry. This is not a Pollo tropical fast food place. These people take pride in serving generous portions with fresh ingredients. And reasonably priced for the food and portion size. Highly recommend this food truck.

    Rice, beans, churrasco and tostones.

LOVED EVERYTHING! The best mofongo hands down. It was moist and enough Garlic but not overpowering the dish. I ordered the mofongo with steak and it was delicious! Ate it all, including the salad with the delicious vinaigrette. My husband ordered the rice, beans, churrasco and tostones. Outstanding. Their meat empanadillas were full of meat, and the chicken empanadillas as well. Even the mayo ketchup was good. I wish I had taken a picture of the empanadillas but they were too good to stop for a pic lol. 100% recommended.

We came mid-afternoon, and while I did see some fresh food coming out, some of what was there was looking dry (the chicharrones, in particular.) The lunch special includes a choice of rice, a protein (I got two large honey-glazed ribs) and a vegetable (mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon mixed in for me.) I added a scoop of pinto beans on the rice. The meal was so large, the to-go box containing it wouldn't close. (They have plates for those eating in (which we did), the lady didn't ask us which we wanted.) The ribs were well-cooked and tasty; rice and beans were good, the cheese and bacon didn't help the mashed potatoes much. My wife had trouble getting what she wanted in the pernil department: there wasn't any nice crispy skin left, just either flabby or hard; and she had trouble getting the lady to pick the nice fatty pieces of meat she tried to point out. There was a good variety of desserts too, though the chocolate tres leches I picked didn't change my low opinion of tres leches in general. Counter service.

Today all the…read morestars in our complicated life finally aligned and we got to go see what the buzz has been about. Whew. Expensive. We give this place 5*'s for food and 1* for the prices. Our overall rating is 3*'s. The folks who work here are very pleasant. The dining room is well decorated. There's no mistaking what the cuisine will be. We ordered a pernil Papa Locas ($14) and both street ($13/5) and birria ($14/3) tacos. We wanted to get a churrasco Mofongo ($35) thinking we'd have plenty of leftovers, but we realized we were simply running out of money. We love Puerto Rican food. We often stop at Lelo's in Orange City when we're in Volusia county and get Mfongo's and the rotisserie chicken and the pork and their daily specials. Our expectation was high tonight because of all the buzz. We really wanted it to be good. And what we ate was good. The employees and the ambience were both great. We enjoyed everything. But why so expensive? We make a good living and we both appreciate fine things - we willingly pay extra for high quality when we feel it is justified. But what we paid tonight didn't bear any correlation to our dinner. These sky-high prices reminded us of Disney. Everything at WDW is inflated: whether the captive audience syndrome because Disney knows their customers have no alternatives; or they just price everything ridiculously high because it's Disney. Unfortunately for this restaurant, it's not Disney. And there are dozens and dozens of alternatives surrounding their building and within a short 10-15 min drive. We wish the owners well. They certainly know how to prepare tasty Puerto Rican food. However, we both agreed we won't be going back because we frankly just don't see the value. Way too expensive.

I've been for lunch and on a Friday night for dinner and it was fantastic both times! For lunch I had the Pork Birria Tacos (hey...if they're on the menu...I get them ‍) and they are completely drool-worthy! They were as crispy as the food I have been seeing in the ASMR videos! The decorations with the plants and decor go well together. There is no question that there is Puerto Rican pride there! The hanging chair was also fun! The dinner I had there was also excellent! We sat in this time and had a Tripleta and Canoas. All the flavors were there for both! We also had a tamarind bucket drink! It was so refreshing, and not everywhere offers it! The chips they brought out were even plantain chips! On Friday nights they have Bachata night where they have a DJ, open up a space for dancing, and even have a spot for dominoes! Everyone should check them out!

When I arrived to florida quesitos were one of the main treats I was searching for, I visited several pastry places and had been heavily dissatisfied and disappointed. Until I was told about Pan Pan (Thank you Lauren) CALLING ALL PUERTO RICANS AND LATINOS, the most amazing quesitos are right here !!!! They don't keep many on their shelves, they bake a fresh batch every morning and afternoon, this ensures we (the consumers) get them the way they're supposed to be. Flaky, sweet, tarty, crunchy OOOOMMMGGG IT'S ALWAYS AMAZING. And lucky You if you get one nice and warm their cafe latte is done so right every time, not falling behind their breakfasts as well. Anyone not giving 4/5 stars is just a difficult customer. They do take their time making your food "MAKING" your food, not reheating food. What more can you ask for? if you're in a rush, call ahead, your food will still be waiting on you, hot and fresh. The rice reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--simple, flavorful, and comforting. The masa de puerco was tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly.
