Everything you are looking for in a Lechonera! Went miday afternoon, not a lot of parking, but able to find a spot. The service was friendly & quick. The restaurant was clean with a few handful of tables and booths. The food was fresh, delicious, Authentic Latin America + Puerto Rican food! Roast pork & rice reminds of the food I would get in New York Will be back for sure!

I love La Lechonera I didn't realize until recently that they had a location in Altamonte. I ordered a plate of pork, yellow rice and sweet plantain. The food was flavorful and good , but the rice tasted burnt. The service was quick and friendly. The ambiance was busy with ppl dining in and music playing. I would go back here again.

We ordered from here a few nights ago and were blown away. We tried the small dinner plate with pork, the Cuban sandwiches, and the beef empanadas, and everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The portions were huge. The pork was juicy, tender, and perfectly paired with the rice and beans. The Cubans were massive and arrived piping hot, but the empanadas were the real standout for me. They were flaky, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be ordering again to try more of their menu.

I went & bought a pernil for Xmas. I wasent sure if they would be able to give me one without ordering ahead. However, I was very pleased that they did. It was tender, juicy and delicious. Only $45 not too big at all & it was pretty big for 6 people. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming & staff was great & very helpful.

Pull up to this stand alone building with plenty of delicious creations and seating for great latin food with fast , amazing service and budget friendly large portions that are weighed on a scale with delicious roasted chicken and pork, rice and gandules, ropa vieja and many other latin foods and desserts ..a must stop!!!

Macaroni salad w/ham

This place serves some of the most delicious Latin food around -- tender oxtail, flavorful yellow rice, crispy pork, creamy macaroni salad, and perfectly seasoned mofongo. Everything tastes homemade, the portions are huge, and the prices are unbelievably low for the quality. Truly a hidden gem that deserves way more attention.

The fried rice and the empanadas were amazing

The food was amazing as usual the service was great, and the ambience was chill, the one here in Altamonte is smaller than the one I've been to in Miami and Miramar, but equally as cool.

Confusing but worth it. All the food is on display with tv screens of the menu and other information. I docked one star just because I think the food on display could use some labeling. La Lechonera has the best chicharron on this side of town! Juicy, crunch, and savory...it had me and my significant other arguing over the last bite. My box of food was only about $14 and it lasted me two meals. Rice, meat, and plantains were all delicious. I would 100% come back to try other items.

When you walk right in, it's open and right in front of the ordering line to get your food. Very clean and modern set up. The staff was quick to take your order and did not rush you. The portions are massive! I have enough food to last me for 2-3 days. I love Puerto Rican food so I was super excited to try this place out. I went through the line pretty quick, for what you pay for, price range from $8-$15 for a combo depending on the kind of meat you ask for. Combo consist of your rice, meat, and a side. I had to have multiple sides and I needed crunch from the chicharrón. There is not a lot of seating, so first come first serve. 10/10 would definitely come again. Food was fresh, very generous, and great pricing.

There is plenty of seating space. The tables have napkins. This is a Cafeteria Style restaurant. They have a wide variety of Puerto Rican Food. They had a whole roasted pig. Get their around noon on the weekend to get that fresh. It was pretty picked over at 4 pm. The tables were kept pretty clean but could have been better. The Arroz con Gandules was delicious. The roast pork shoulder (pernil) was excellent. Also, the Bistec Encebollado (Steak with Onions) was tender and tasty. For drinks they have some bottled beer and a variety of sodas.

As a Puerto Rican, I am always so happy to eat authentic Spanish food, and lechonera is just that! There is a plethora of food to choose from. A variety of different rices, meats, sides and even some bakery items as well. The service is good, and the portions are even better. They close at 8pm, and I would recommend you come earlier, because the closer to closing time it is the less options they have available. Lechonera will always be a go to favorite of mine

Rude service and terrible food. Long wait for subpar food. Expect to be completely ignored when trying to order or pick up food.

Quesitos are a typical Puerto Rican puff pastry and finding "good ones" were a real problem…read more.. When I arrived to florida quesitos were one of the main treats I was searching for, I visited several pastry places and had been heavily dissatisfied and disappointed. Until I was told about Pan Pan (Thank you Lauren) CALLING ALL PUERTO RICANS AND LATINOS, the most amazing quesitos are right here !!!! They don't keep many on their shelves, they bake a fresh batch every morning and afternoon, this ensures we (the consumers) get them the way they're supposed to be. Flaky, sweet, tarty, crunchy OOOOMMMGGG IT'S ALWAYS AMAZING. And lucky You if you get one nice and warm their cafe latte is done so right every time, not falling behind their breakfasts as well. Anyone not giving 4/5 stars is just a difficult customer. They do take their time making your food "MAKING" your food, not reheating food. What more can you ask for? if you're in a rush, call ahead, your food will still be waiting on you, hot and fresh. If you don't believe me, it's all your loss and it's totally okay cause it's more for me my colleagues and family if you want an average quesitos, coffee, or breakfasts go wherever. If you want amazing, go to PAN PAN. See ya there.
