I know a lot of locals really like this place. It's closer to a three star to me, but small town flair pushed it to a four for me. Strictly on local owned and portions of food. The yard was just mediocre. The service was okay. The server was friendly enough. I would like to see the place cleaned better and some faux plants to spruce the place up. read more

Mi Casa is a great family owned Mexican restaurant here in downtown Seymour. Everything here is made fresh and served up hot and delicious. The service is always fantastic (and everyone smiles and greets you). I can't really say enough about the owners and the staff. This place is the best! read more

Mi Casa is a favorite of mine in Seymour. Family owned and always friendly, fast service. The nachos are so yummy and huge portion. My granddaughter loves the child taco salad which is a miniature version of the adult serving with a cute, little shell. We would probably go more often if they were able to serve alcoholic beverages. read more

I know I say this a lot, really I do.... but his is for real the truth! This little slice of heaven hidden away is a gem that needs to be discovered on a much larger scale..... Damn this was truly the BEST Mexican food I've had- ever!!!!! Strongly recommend trying this place - hidden, small and amazingly delicious food! Had the beef and chicken platter - English saying :) and it was utterly amazing! The seasoning and marinade was to die for! First time I haven't had to use sour cream- which tells you how de-lic-ious it was!!! Magnificent! read more

I love Mi Casa! My favorite restaurant in Seymour. The waiters and owners are very kind. Their salsa is hard to beat. I love to get the Arroz con Pollo, Grilled Chicken Fajita Quesadilla, and the Dr. Nate Burrito! You have to give it a try. read more

This was my first time visiting this restaurant in July 2017, and it was a good experience. The building is dated, and has a weird lobby/restroom area. And it could have been just a bad weather day or something, but there was a sewer smell in the lobby that was not very inviting. With that said, the service, food, environment and staff was all terrific. I got three tacos and my guest got burrito, beans and cheese. Very good food for very typical small-town Mexican restaurant prices. read more

We came for lunch at 2:30pm. A group of 7 including 3 kids. They staff were very nice and attentive. The food was sooo good. Everyone was very happy. They have a very nice offering of different types of food and a kids menu. They refilled sodas once they noticed they were low. So happy we ate here! read more

Tried Mi Casa on a friend's recommendation. The food was excellent. Ordered the special Hawaiian Fajitas and they were delicious. The price was fair for this type of dining. The service was a little lacking however ; we had to ask multiple times to get chips / drinks refilled and the wait to get our food was very long. Once we did, my order wasn't correct and another member of our party didn't get her fried ice cream until we asked. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because the food was so good, but hopefully service is improved next time I go. read more

This was horrible. The food was bland, service was non existent. Couldn't even eat all of meal because it was that unflavorful. Half of food was barely warm from being plated up too early. Won't be wasting my time or money here again. read more

I don't usually eat in Seymour, except when we pick up kids from Springhill Camp (nearby). This is a great place to stop on your way back home, as the prices are reasonable for families, and the food is very good. I ate the Nachos II, which was delicious, and more than I could eat. We also ordered the cheese dip, as well as guacamole for our pre-meal chips. read more

Great locally owned mexican restaurant. The salsa is very good and homemade. All the entrees I've had are excellent. I love the burrito with chicken and topped with queso and the red sauce. They also have a spicy green sauce that spices the meal up! All of this is very reasonably priced. Well worth stopping in if you are in Seymour! read more
