I have not been to a Chili's in a very long time, but I decided to try it since nothing else was open and I wanted a drink with my food. After my first drink, my stomach hurt after a couple of my appetizers my stomach really hurt.... So I'm in Seymour about once every two weeks. A small town like this has limited options. This was my first time at chili's in Seymour. I will day I know chili's and this chili's quesadillas were incredible! Not sure what was different but I was pleased and ate all of it! That's a lot for someone who usually leave food on the plate. We checked in online and it said 15-20 minute wait. We arrived a few minutes later and were told that the wait was 90-120 minutes. The host and hostess saw our phone that said our wait time and basically said sorry it will be 2 hours. Got hangry whilst driving through Indiana and came across this Chili's. I hadn't been to one of these in a few years. They had some fun drinks, some good avocado laden food options, and some great tech upgrades that made my visit a little more user-friendly. Our waitress was on top of it for most of the evening, up until it was time to pay. So I grabbed the table top device, found our up-to-date bill and paid it. We were able to get out of their without having to flag down the waitress. After using the device I fear that their may be less need for waitresses now-a-days and wonder if this device has anything to do with minimum wage hikes. read more

We are from Florida where our chili's is pretty darn great and Tonya was my waiter for tonight, she helped us get into a seat that we where able to see our car with a trailer hooked on and I just have to say she was very on top of me and my family. I have the two kids with me and she was so kind she brought them two table tablets and made sure she told them the food was hot, was always passing by to say how's everything can I bring you more drinks could I take away some plates she was great with the prebuss she is so friendly and kind I'll be back when I'm traveling again through the state again read more

Much better than in past. They were a bit short-staffed so the wait was longer than it should have been but food was great. The server was wonderful. She kept drinks filled and informed us of the wait time for food. She even offered soup because it was taking so long. We ordered to-go at 9pm, after a day-long road trip. Tired kids, tired parents, time to get takeout, and we figured Chili's would be a step up from McD's. It was disappointing that the food was 15 minutes later than promised. It was awkward and unpleasant to stand in the to-go area and be able to see into the kitchen, where a big mess was on the floor and a bunch of employees were fighting about the cleanup. (Well, that explains why the food was late.) It was disgusting to get to our hotel, open the food, and find that our order of roasted corn guacamole was so old that it had started to turn brown. That sort of brown that a guest at a table would immediately notice and send back, but maybe the to-go people won't notice until it's too late and they won't bother complaining...! On the plus side, when we DID come back and complain, the manager was apologetic, refunded the cost of the dish, and got a fresh serving that wasn't oxidized. This was the worst experience at Chili's ever. We understand being short staffed but we're told 20-30 minutes of a wait time.... It was close to 45... again we will deal. Then we ordered. It took almost 45 minutes for our food as well. I ordered a steak. It was completely black and hard on the outside and so undercooked that it was cool on the inside. My daughters food had an odd flavor almost as if it were spoiled. My husbands burger was so greasy the bun was disintegrating. My sons grilled cheese had slices of cheese in spots that weren't even melted and the corn was cool to the touch. Our server was polite and we felt bad for her because it was the same way at many tables around us. We never saw a manager walking around or we would have spoken to them about this. Just don't. The service was so slow. We waited for 45 minutes just to get dip/chip appetizer. They must have been a shortage of chips. Then another 15-20 mins to entries. There were 4 of us and my food had to have been done 20 mins before the others. Everything was cold...like sitting in a fridge cold. The good thing was that once I finally got a manager (took forever), she reheated my food. I got to eat something warm though it wasn't great...it was food. And she took our entries off the bill. First of all, I will state, that I have not been a big fan of Chili's since they changed their menu, and some of my favorites were discarded. So, today I decided to check them out. I arrived just at 11am, with one or two other cars in the parking lot. Upon my entrance I was greeted with a smile and hello. I asked for a table rather than a booth, but since I was only one, and their tables are for 6 or more, I was escorted to a booth. My server was Macenzy and she did a good job. My order was taken and arrived quickly. Good portions, cooked well. I spent a couple of extra bucks for the half slab of ribs, to be honest the half slab was larger than most full slabs at their neighbor. I've ordered Chili's DoorDash to get an order of chips and salsa and an order of skillet queso delivered to me several times and EVERY time something has been missing. I am always shorted an order of chips and salsa as I am given only one when BOTH orders come with an order of chips and salsa. I even called in advance this time to ask that I please get everything and they still messed it up so now I'm driving across town to get the rest of my order. I'm incredibly frustrated as I've wasted up to 20 dollars or so because of this. We had an appetizer platter of Southwestern Eggrolls, Slider and Chicken strips with three dipping sauces. All were OK but I feel the Eggrolls could use a bit more spice as they were quite bland. We waited over 30 minutes and we're approached by someone other than a server in jeans and a fleece with no nametags & who did not identify herself. She asked how we were.
