Read and heard good things about Mi Corazon so our family went there for lunch. Limited parking, but plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service staff were outstanding. Friendly, informative and prompt. We arrived around 1pm on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded, but did fill up afterwards. Ambiance was new, clean and relaxing. I really liked what they did with the place. Free tortilla chips and salsa. Salsa was exceptional, must be homemade. We had some appetizers before lunch. We all liked what we ordered and took some home with us since there was so much. Lunch arrived and we weren't disappointed. It was all good and we "dove in" For drinks, we had Horchatas and a Mexican cola (was going to have a Jarritos, but the only had pineapple flavor). Overall, a very enjoyable lunch and we will visit them again to try more from their diverse menu. read more

Two doors down from our hotel, Greenfield Inn, was this gem of a Mexican restaurant. The enchiladas Mole, Sopes with Chorizo and Pastor (marinated pork with pineapple), Chips, Salsa, and Guacamole were as good as we've had anywhere. The Saturday night karaoke crew was a blast and we stayed through to the end, alternately laughing and singing along. My wife and I got to try the crushed Watermelon Margarita and some of their Mexican and local craft beers. We fell in love with this area as well as this restaurant, a busy little Mexican gem, literally the only restaurant in this small town. And the community is glad to have them. read more

We live about a mile away, in Greenfield. We usually enjoy it, but tonight a couple came in with a dog. Then another couple came in with a dog. Personally I love dogs, but do not want dog hair flying around the dining room. I did not see that these dogs were labeled as service dogs! Wow really had high hopes Went in with a friend for a margarita, did not eat food which is hopefully better than their drinks game. I was a professional bartender and server for well over 10 years. Margaritas are not a difficult drink to make, this was the worst expensive margarita I have ever had. The chunks of strawberry made it undrinkable with a straw. They get caught and block the suction! Also did not taste like tequila which should be a flavor in a margarita? If you are going to use a puree make sure it's pureed? Or make the muddles product big enough so it stays at the bottom People go to Mexican restaurants just as much for margaritas- if you don't have decent ones good luck! I guess it is a positive they didn't use high fructose corn syrup sour mix, but for $16 each, you expect a decent beverage? When told about the problem, the server did not address the issue and blend them or offer to remake=piss poor customer service. They also asked us if we wanted salt and we did, and they did not have salted rims when delivered to table? Why ask if you do not want to provide what is ordered? To start things we were seated in the corner the restaurant was completely empty, then one more group of 6 came in and the server then seated them right next to us. Why would you do this in a mostly empty restaurant? The tables were wobbly AF, not fun to have a coupe glass on, felt boat on the water like? My friend has been there several times and this wasn't the first bad experience. The other week she had really fatty tacos and the staff and kitchen didn't address the complaint. I know it's annoying when people send things back but it does happen in a restaurant from time to time, but you should be prepared and deal with such things if you care to have returning customers. It is really sad so many businesses fail in this location. I really miss Side Trax which was a breakfast place here years ago, and it was the Greenfield Industries when I was a kid, and used to go there with my grandmother and get a grilled cheese. I will say the interior and renovations are quite swanky, and it definitely looks like a nice restaurant to take a date out to etc. However be ready to drop $$$. After reading others reviews this has not been the first complaint about their drinks, and customer service, and if you want to stay in business you should address these issues sooner than later. I am not sure the server spoke much English, and that really doesn't help communication issues? If I was working anywhere where my language was not the areas- I would spend a lot of time getting proficient enough to get by. Some of the restaurants I worked at I had to memorize like 40 new cocktails plus the menus, and all the dietary allergies information. That is what you do if you want to make a living in the front of house in restaurants, and yes I have worked in kitchens, and at a bakery too, so I am not just being a jerk with this feedback. I hope you guys iron out the kinks and you make it work. We have also had really bad experiences at the New Fiddleheads in Hancock, but that was just with the quality of the food. A hidden gem . In a small town in the middle of New Hampshire , it's nice to find this restaurant. We just had the chicken wings but it was delicious and if it's representative of the other dishes , theres no doubt it would be delicious . New Mexican Restaurant in Greenfield, NH. Located in the center of town is this amazing addition to the Monadnock Region. We went on a Wednesday night and I was shocked at how busy it was. We were seating quickly and brought water, chips and salsa. I had the Elderflower Margarita and it was one of the best margaritas I have ever had. For dinner I had a burrito. They serviced French fries with it, which I didn't feel was necessary. The sauces and rice on and in the burrito was so flavorful. The staff was friendly and prompt. The only downfall for the restaurant was it was very loud inside. Overall this is the best Mexican Restaurant in the Monadnock Region. read more

I've passed by here several times wanting to try out this location. I decided to stop here today. At first, I was a little confused as there is parking there for the building next door for tenets, so I wasn't sure where to park. I was a little confused by which door was the main door coming from the apartment side over, but once I had it all set, I was quickly greeted and shown to a table. They have outdoor seating as well as booths and high tops. Our server quickly brought chips and salsa to our table. The salsa was very refreshing and had a wonderful flavor. The inside is very open and inviting, and it was very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. Although it wasn't listed, I ordered a horchata, which came in a glass garnished with cinnamon on top. I was very pleased with it. I asked our server if I could have the birria burrito made chimichanga style, which he was happy to ask the back of house if they would do. My friend ordered the grilled shrimp tacos. Our food came out very quickly. Everything looked delicious and the portion sizes were reasonable. Everything was very well seasoned and tasted very fresh. The meat from my chimichanga was tender and full of flavor. I usually don't say much about refried beans because most places seem to have bland refried beans, but this tasted made in-house. It tasted fresh and herbaceous. They really knocked it out of the park. I'm looking forward to making a visit again. read more

Drove the hour from the Concord area to Mi Corazon as a result of seeing one of their dishes posted by a friend on Facebook. What a great move. We eat at a bunch of Mexican restaurants around NH. This is right at the top with Vida Cantina (the chef at Vida Cantina is a James Beard semi-finalist, nuff said) in Portsmouth. I had the Los Picaditos w/steak al pastor and my spouse had Chicken Street Tacos. Both were seasoned perfectly. I requested a spicier sauce than the one that came with it, but both sauces were excellent. Definitely worth the trip. Can't wait to go back and sample some of the other great looking dishes on the menu. read more

First visit to our new local hot spot. We were greeted right away, and promptly decided to sit at the bar. The interior is very colorful and festive. We were waited on by Sergio, who was extremely helpful and attentive. Chips were crisp and flavorful. Salsa had just the right amount of heat. Our margaritas were delicious and had just the right amount of everything. We ordered a specialty dish, that I couldn't pronounce (sorry). It had tasty grilled steak slices, a wonderful savory blend of onions, mushrooms and a dark super flavorful sauce, all in a tortilla....covered in a special cheese sauce. Let me start by saying I've spent considerable time in Mexico. As such, this is as close to somewhat "traditional" southern Mexican food (Oaxaca-ish) you'll get here in rural New Hampshire, though to satisfy the locals there are quite a few easy Tex-Mex dishes too. We ordered two traditional dishes (and had PLENTY to take home--the portions are generous). Birria is a meat stew associated with Jalisco state containing anything from goat, beef, mutton, whatever. It's marinated in an adobo sauce overnight, and served with rich beef broth. The side of broth is rich, greasy, authentic. Loved it. The other dish was a chicken mole (pronounced molé). This is another unusual to find dish on a rural New England menu. Mole is a dark red sauce with assorted dried chiles, tomatoes, spices--whatever is lying around basically--and chocolate. Then cooked slowly for 24 hours. There are many kinds of mole in the Oaxaca area with as many different flavors. Corazon's chicken enchiladas with mole sauce were, in a word, excellent. This is a good place to experiment with flavors. read more
