Found this piece of chicken on my wet burrito after I finished most of it.

I'm a usually like coming here but after this I stop coming here. I don't trust this place anymore. I warn everyone who comes here to inspect your food very carefully.

    Aporreadillo

Wow mi Lindo Apatzongan! I was pleasantly surprised as a person born in Michoacan! The Chilaquiles Michoacanos were crispy, saucy and delicious. But their Aporreadillo left me speechless. Perfect meat scrambled with eggs, drenched in a spicy bold red sauce that had just the right amount of heat. Beans and rice were solid. Camarones Empanizados came with a spicy mayo sauce that had me asking for more. The Horchata was perfect as it was not too sweet and it just hit perfectly after every bite. Chips and salsa are complimentary. They are good though the Salsa lacked a kick but were still good. The Ambience was like a cozy Michoacan family gathering. The place was tricky to find not gonna lie. If you drive too fast you will miss it, so slow down both on the road and in life in general, and chill here for some real Michoacan flavors. I will definitely be going back!

Great service, super yummy food. I ordered shrimp taco, sooo good and big! It had at least 6 medium shrimps, but I forgot to take pictures! My family enjoyed chicken fajitas and steak fajitas. Rice and beans were so good too!!

    Taco Tuesday!

My first time here for breakfast! I came here for the Menudo soup but unfortunately they didn't have it. So I went for their chicken soup instead since I was craving for something soupy. Service was great, however , what bothered me the most was the flies! I couldn't enjoy my meal because of the flies! The flavor of the soup was just ok , I probably won't order it again. I also ordered their tacos since it was taco Tuesday. The asada tacos were my favorite! Overall, I hope they will have their Menudo soup again since it was one of their popular dish! (And please fix the flies issue!)

Food is delicious. Great service always clean. Menu has a lot of options. not very big inside, but it's always clean busy service as well. We've never had to wait even though that it's just a small area.

I always get the birria tacos! Ugh these are so YUMMY! All their food here is so good! Carne asada, carnitas, enchiladas, fajitas, etc. SO GOOD! we love this place. We love how they always have condiments and salsas on the table! People here are nice! It's just a little small inside but it's worth it

1st time. Wish I would have been here sooner. All the ladies were pleasant. Not a long wait for our food. Maybe we beat the dinner rush hr. Shrimp spicy not for the weak - flavorful. Rice w/ veggies and beans were good. Not a big place but catch it a a good time and it'll been fine. Can't wait to come back and try the Taco Tuesday.

First off, where has this place been hiding?! Seriously I have driven back and forth on Magnolia a ton of times and never spotted this little hole in the wall place. Very small lot, handicap spots in the front and then regular spots hidden in the back. Friends and I walked inside, waitress behind the counter told us to grab a seat - we picked a nice booth/chair table combo. She came and brought us chips and salsa and grabbed our drink order real quick. We got a chorizo breakfast burrito, chile verde con huevos, chilaquiles w/ rice instead of beans (which it says only beans on menu but they are nice to accommodate!) and a kids chicken tender meal. The waitress also served all our food with 3 bottles of house salsa , very spicy creamy green (jalapenos?), house red (mild), and tomatillo (not spicy). Prices are on point! Food was delicious and we were full for pretty much the rest of the day. We will be regulars for sure, this place captured our hearts !!!

    Mojarra plate
    Melissa B.

I ordered the fried tilapia (mojarra) during Lent at Mi Lindo Apatzingán, and OMG it was so delicious! Crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The homemade tortillas were an absolute chef's kiss ...soft, fresh, and the perfect addition to the meal. The servers were super friendly and totally on it.

    Molcajete
    Sandra M.

Wow! Had the molcajete. In my opinion this is the best I've ever had. Every piece of meat was seasoned perfectly! The beans were amazing and the fresh tortillas! Will be back for sure. Service was great aswell!

Micheladas were good. I Ordered the shrimp cocktail and ceviche and it was so tasty. The service was good, waitress was friendly, and my food came out quickly. Restaurant has TV and music playing while eating. I would reccommend this spot!

Location is near Mission Inn on Main Street. Price is on the higher end so plan to pay an average of $30/person. The only thing that was a bummer for us was the loud music for lunch hour experience. The music was loud and made me think it would be best for a club atmosphere? Maybe it was just me but I felt anxiety eating because the music was so upbeat and loud. Music is a big part of the eating experience. I know some people may be fine with it. For example, we had breakfast at Tio's Taco and the music was spot on for the dining experience.

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

We have not been here since the 90's and I have to say, it was much better back then. All in all, there is just no flavor. The salsa tasted like watery tomatoes, our waitress gave us a little side of habanero salsa to incorporate with it but that heat is the extreme for me. We ordered the Mesquite chicken and steak fajitas which were less than average. Not sure if it was just a bad day, but the taste of the protein did not match up to the wonderful smell of BBQ outside the restaurant. The tortillas were just ok, first batch was not even warm. My Michelada was good though. Bummer visit after being away for so long. Looks like the interior could stand a makeover.

Some pieces are like playing I Spy. It was funner to see than a lot of museums I've gone to actually. It's truly just packed with art.
