Please ignore the two star rating who gave a two star for a fly. My mother is from a city near the coast of Nayarit. Mariscos are embedded in my DNA. It's hard to find a good marisco place in the IE. THIS IS THE ONE. Also, I've been to a botana (a seafood restaurant serving family style seafood) before and flies are everywhere but we don't give a hoot! We just shoo them away and carry on with enjoying our food. I did meet this said fly and it was cool. It flew by once or twice but it didn't ruin our food or the customer service. Our server was very sweet, attentive and personable. We ordered the regular size ceviche, coctel and a dozen oysters. The regular ceviche seems like it could be for 4 people. Me and my partner split all our food though. We were stuffed! It's the day after and all I can think about is the seafood and the ice cold Pacíficos. If you're "bougie" and mind a fly wandering around...don't go. If you don't care and don't mind, get your butt here! Bring a fly swatter if you must. This is my marisco place hands down. I always used to think that this place had the best food in town, my mind has now changed after I ordered a Cielo Mar e Tierra plate with camarones al la diabla and the sauce was not spicy as it was supposed to be and the flavor was like mole. Just moved to Riverside and found this lil gem. I love the luenga tacos. They melt in your mouth like butter. If you like spicy there's a great lunch special that comes with a chile verde wet burrito with rice/ beans and a drink included. Big ups to the cook. Very tasty food read more

This place is an alright hole in a wall I suppose. The food was not terrible but also did not blow my mind away. I had some chilaquiles a la michocana and they were pretty scrumptious. They could of been better but in the most part everything was alright. Good customer service and the wait was not so long. If you claustrophobic don't go because it is a small place so you quite near each other . I've been to this place a couple of times, order take out during the pandemic. Food was ok, but I recently tried ordering one of their specials that they have on their website for 2 tilapias for the price of 1. The place on magnolia said they don't offer that special, although the website says they do. She referred me to their location on hole AVE. I called there. The food is good here, but the service always SUCK!!! As most of the small Mexican restaurants the words customer service means nothing to them, early Friday dinner so we can avoid the Friday dinner rush and get better service but that's TOO much to ask I guess, they had about 3 tables only and still couldn't provide at least basic service, sat ourselves, lady came to give us the menu and didn't even bother to ask if we wanted something to drink to get us started, sat at the table for 10 minutes listening to 2 of the servers and I guess one of the cooks talk about their telenovela drama right next to us but I guess that was more important than a paying customer, finally after a good 15 minutes I had enough and walked out and that's when they starting asking each other if anyone came up to our table , again it's usual to get this type of service from the paisa restaurants jaja osea van a trabajar o a comadrear muchachas? At first the small location looked small and nothing to get to hyped over. My first thought was the wait was going to be long due to the fact that the line was out the door and the establishment is small. In the contrary we got seated within minutes. The waitress was not only friendly but never let out drinks run out or even get close. She was very busy but that did not impune our service at all. I got chillaques and they are some of the best non home made ones I have ever had. The egg tasted as if they were cooked with love. They do not have a dessert menu but do offer flan. They have seafood options and menudo and a very wide variety of menu options. I will be coming back very soon. Most definitely a must try. read more

Mi Lindo is the best Mexican food in this side of Riverside for sure. Chips and salsa are always good and come out fast. The menu is filled with all the favorites and some special dishes that aren't served anywhere else. They have a variety of salads that are delicious and spicy. The relleno never disappoints but what we come in again and again for are the tacos. They have $1.25 tacos every day and they are the best. Perfectly grilled meats with all the fixings. Food is awesome! Sometimes there's a wait but reasonable amount of time. It's just hit and miss. But the food is always on point made to order. So expect a a delay. Staff works hard and are very courteous. I love the Michoacán enchilada with lettuce instead of cabbage (my allergy to cabbage but am sure it's just as good) the carnitas are always fire, pozole and menudo are a go back too as well.
