Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I was seated at table 20 and waited 25 minutes without being attended to. No one offered me a drink, chips, or even a simple greeting. I ordered the fish taco combo with sauces on the side . The fish tacos were flavorful . It came with pieces of battered fish . I also opted for double rice . My drink of choice was an horchata. We had one waitress for our table of 8. They were playing music at a high volume close to our table and she asked if that was okay. I've been here before and ordered the steak and eggs which I recommend. The breakfast burrito was okay it had too much cheese that it overpowered the flavor of the sausage. This time I got the huevos rancheros and they weren't good. The eggs had cheese on it and a tortilla, it was too greasy to be enjoyable. It came with rice and beans and tortillas. The chips and salsa they give you is good. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. I recommend that and the jugó pura vida is very good. Service was good, it wasn't full when I went. I was looking for some good menudo and found it at Cielito Lindo! Went on Sunday for dinner and it was busy but luckily there was some tables available. The restaurant isn't too big and there's Mexican music playing and a TV which went perfect with the vibe of the restaurant. I guess they also have live music because when I was coming in, the guy was packing his equipment. We got seated right away and shortly after we got a small basket of tortilla chips and salsa. Salsa had good flavor with a some heat which was good since I don't like it too spicy. I got my menudo with freshly handmade corn tortillas and all the fixins and my tastebuds and tummy were happy! My daughter got their pozole and liked it, but still enjoys the pozole from Northgate market more. They're located in a small shopping plaza and there is a lot of parking, but I can see it getting packed if it's a busy day because there's a lot of businesses. My son was in town from Tacoma , Wa and wanted menudo ... so I looked on yelp and found this place ... parking isn't great but has been worse ... the place looks small but surprisingly once you are inside it's has a lot of tables and even another small room towards the back ... My son and I both ordered menudo with a pata and hominy .... my wife ordered carnitas sopes.. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD !!! From the chips and salsa that started our meal ... both of our menudos were delicious... my wife's sopes was also very good. Also got a chicken flauta a la carte .. omg soooo good. Finally! It's not as easy to find a place that makes menudo that'll have an authentic taste. I am happy to have found this gem! The menudo is the best I've tasted thus far from any restaurant. The red salsa they serve on the side to add to the menudo is FIRE, a little will go a long way- you've been warned (lol). The Horchata tastes like the one I make at home- from scratch. Their tortillas are handmade. The takeout service today was excellent. The lady made sure to pack enough of everything that is served w the menudo and she placed my pot inside a box along w the rest of the ingredients and drinks to prevent me from having to make two trips to my vehicle. I cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant! Everyone who had come here loves their food. I had been here a few times and loved everything that I have eaten. Yesterday was my wedding. We decided to bring some of the family to eat here afterwards. We reserved the back room a few weeks in advance. We called multiple times to change the time. We even did it a few times the day of our wedding. They were me than accommodating. Even though it was a busy Saturday evening, service was spectacular. The food was Amazing as always.
