Andhra 2 America tends to focus on street food rather than curries that you would find at the many other Indian spots in the area. If you are in the mood for a good dosa, this is the place to be! I had the Madhurai Malli Dosa, which had the potato filling but also coriander paste. It came with 3 different sauces, all of which were delicious. The dosa itself was fantastic, it was soft and flakey and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly, it had plenty of spice to it!
I would say the dosas are the highlight of Andhra 2 America. When you spend some time hanging out by the truck, you will see families with plates of dosas, it seems to be their specialty! However, this isn't the only thing they sell. Their chicken manchuria is like a super awesome sauced nugget. It has some heat, but lots of other savory and bold flavors to it. The veggie noodles are a good option for something with less sting to it. I would say it teeters on the verge of being bland, but gives your meal some variety. The double egg and chicken fried rice is a step in the Chinese direction of food, with Indian flavors with Chinese techniques. A solid option for sure.
If you are like me and are intimidated to navigate into this spot, fear not! The only entrance is along Davis Drive Rd. But once you are in, you are going to be treated to some pretty great food. Don't forget to warm up your palate with their complimentary Chai, it is part of the experience!
