Food Review: Super Nachos Worth the Stop! Driving home, I stopped in for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised by all the options on the menu. After some thought, I went with the Super Nachos -- and I'm glad I did. The portion was huge, and they even provide a fork, which you'll definitely need once you dig toward the bottom. The dish was served hot from top to bottom, loaded with my choice of Carne Asada, plus pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and refried beans. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. I LOVE this spot, being that I work in the Facebook neighborhood, we are limited to not many options, but one option that always pulls through, is Mi Taqueria. They never fail to serve great customer service, amazing and flavorful food, and the vibe is always nice hearing the cooking staff joke around or talk to customers who wait at the pick up counter. I love that while you wait, you have the option of getting your bag of chips and little containers of salsa at the salsa bar. They also have a water station if you had opted out on getting a Hispanic drink or regular drink. I also love that they have a section with grilled onions at the salsa bar. Service is good, serving size is ok, price is good too, but the food lacks that kick that I expect from small taquerias. I ordered the carne asada taco platter for lunch, and even though the meat-to-bread ratio was decent, the taste was average. The meat seemed dry, and lacked flavor. The good thing is that they have a salsa bar (and unlimited chips) that I could go to to spruce up my tacos. Will I come back? I've heard good things about their shredded chicken burrito, so I guess ill have to come back and try it. Parking in this plaza is a pain, so be wary of that as well. read more

Mi Taqueria is located in the middle of Facebook land. Well actually in a strip mall full of other mom and pop restaurants. The food is decent. I have eaten here on a few occasions. The burritos is ok to good. The enchilada plate I had was good. I was impressed with the shredded chicken inside of it. Surprisingly the corn tortillas wasn't in the oil to make it flexible. They did a good job on executing it. But the sauce could've used a touch more salt and spice. It was missing out on some flavor. That would counteract with the chicken. Rice and beans were cooked perfectly. There's a refrigerator with bottle drinks. No indoor dining at the moment due to the pandemic. Free parking in the lot. Dumbarton bridge is nearby and so is Facebook. Customer service is great here. The place is clean. Oh and cash is faster since their card machine is effy sometimes. The dish came with a good helping of rice, refrained beans, and warm flour tortillas served in an adorable cloth... something your grandmother would make. It was also served with a good helping of avocado and fresh salad. I would say that the eggs and chorizo was very, very salty and had that "fast food" taste to it. That's where the 3 stars comes from. The fixings were very good and seemed fresh. This place has a family run vibe, everyone is really nice and there are plenty of tables (seems like it would be good for a crowd or for kids!). It is very casual, almost like a fast food joint but the staff has a friendly family owned vibe. It is also very clean. My family goes to this place out of the "700" you can find in East Palo Alto/Menlo Park area. I think the reason why is it's easy to get to in traffic and it's had the best customer service and probably the best Chile Verde wet burritos. I've had in a long time. We also get the Mia taqueria roll, the carnitas, carne asada, El pastor tacos all are great. If you're in traffic on Willow road and Hamilton going to the Dumbarton bridge or Facebook and you have time to kill stop in there and wait for the traffic die down you won't be sorry. read more

Discovered this place with my co-worker about a year ago during lunch and have been going since. I always order the "Mi Burrito" with shredded chicken & less rice. The meat is so clean & juicy- I'm very picky about how my meat is cooked; this is all white meat chicken. It comes with a small side salad and let's not forget the complimentary chips & salsa station. The horchata is basically my desert- smooth and the right amount of sweetness.
