I was gonna take a photo, but I ate the food so fast. It was a great ground beef quesadilla. The best one I've had in a long time. The service was on point and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant is a touch of Mexico.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Super nice people with the best Mexican food. I've had in a long time.

Pretty good, but not great. Had chorizo and egg and bacon and egg. One on flour. One on corn. Corn tortillas are homemade. Honestly, they weren't as good as the store bought flour ones. The corn were too thick and the flavor didn't make up for it. Fillings were fine. Could have used a bit more substance. About $3.50 each. All in all, pretty good.

5 taco plate lunch special. 2 bistek and 3 barbacoa upgraded with avocado.

Fantastic Food, Friendly Service - Worth the Visit! Stopped by this local Mexican spot for lunch and was seriously impressed. I had the five taco lunch plate and upgraded with avocado--worth every penny. The tacos were loaded with flavorful meat, fresh cilantro, onion, and generous slices of avocado. My friend went with the crispy taco plate, and those were also excellent--perfectly crunchy shells packed with meat, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. The 3 taco plate came with refried beans and rice, and the beans were especially tasty. The verde sauce was amazing and spicy. Loved it. The gentleman working the register was extremely helpful--he explained the menu, started us off with complimentary chips and salsa, and answered all our questions with a great attitude. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only downside is the location--there's a visible homeless presence in the area, so I'd recommend locking your car and staying aware. That said, the quality of the food and service makes it well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!

Once again, this place goes above and beyond with great quality food and generous portions. They are officially my go-to taco spot in Austin. Everyone I've introduced to this place gets hooked! And it's always warming to see the familiar faces of the people working there, all so nice, and feels like they're always there to make sure everything's great!

This is by far one of the best taco spots I've been to in Austin. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is a bit of a hole in a wall but this place is a gem.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had migas, bistek (steak), and al pastor tacos. I also had the churros. Our food came with chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were delicious! The salsa was spicy and refreshing. The bistek tacos were by far my favorite. The al pastor tacos were also delicious. The churros were pretty bland and tasted stale or overcooked. I will definitely be back to have more delicious tacos!

Mi Trailita Y Mas sits next to a sketchy gas station and doesn't have the cleanest, most up-to-date establishment. The bathroom looks like a gross mess, and the surrounding buildings are pretty run down. However, I don't know of any other place in Austin where you can get a $7.50 torta that is loaded with beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and all the other good stuff they put in there. The torta alone was easily enough for 2 meals, and the portion sizes for the other dishes were also crazy. It's almost like inflation never hit this restaurant. The food was amazing, the quantity of food was insane, and the service was pretty good. Certainly a 5 in my book for the price.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute little taqueria![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The enchiladas were good for the price and their salsas are super smoothl! The queso being $7 is a bit outrageous though.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall nice vibe and good place for cheap quick eats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We've been here a few times now and we love it. The BEST restaurants are the hole in the wall places that are family owned. This one is super authentic and they are so nice when you go to pick up your order. Okay, so the best way to tell if a restaurant is good is to see the crowd that is eating inside. If the crowd that is eating inside is similar to the cuisine being served then it's safe to say that the food will be damn good. The tacos here slay . Also their corn tortillas are bomb as hell. Most corn tortillas are weak, the ones here are strong and are probably handmade. They also have ingredients like nopales which is cactus and you don't see that everywhere. Their salsas are also super fresh and spicy! If you go, try the double corn tortillas with your breakfast taco you will not be disappointed.

Picadillo taco and carnitas taco. Both awesome!
    Michael E.

Have been to the trailer before it closed but this is the first time I have been to the brick n mortar location. Do judge the outside by what is inside. This place is awesome! This place serves some awesome food and it is definitely worth checking out. The staff is very friendly and the environment is cozy inside. Be sure to order online or just be prepared to wait a little while for your food. Nothing crazy but we had to wait for about 25 min. For food, we had the picadillo taco, carnitas taco, and the bistek plate. They were all delicious and I would totally have all of them again. The bistek plate was great size and definitely shareable with a few other items and you get tortillas to go with it. We had both corn and flour tortillas and they were both handmade and amazing, but the corn tortillas absolutely surprised us as they were super flexible and thick and did not break. We added the different sauces they provide (a red and a green) and they were absolutely bomb to go on the tacos! You also get some nice salsa and chips while you wait at the restaurant. Definitely recommend checking this place out! I will definitely be coming back

As the sign says, "No Ticket, No Taco!" so don't lose it. Seating is limited and the line can get long, but they move fast. And don't come expecting cheese or sour cream -- the only add‑ons here are cilantro, onions, salsa, and guacamole. It's a stripped‑down menu, and they stick to it. The tacos are solid. The beef isn't anything remarkable, but the chicken is tender, moist, and genuinely flavorful. The quesadilla is the sleeper hit; the baked cheese gives it a deep, savory punch that outshines the tacos. And if you're hungry or just want the best value, the burritos are enormous -- stuffed right up to the tortilla's structural limit. Somehow I'd never been despite living so close, so I was excited to finally check it off my list. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and their famous foyer is just as pretty in person as everyone says. I came with a friend, and we grabbed seats at the bar first while waiting, but I definitely recommend making reservations because this place is BUSY, even on a weeknight. Parking can also be a bit of a struggle since they have a pretty small lot. I had to make a few laps before I finally found a spot, so definitely give yourself a little extra time. They do offer valet, and I believe you may also be able to park in the lot next door after hours since it's their sister restaurant, but don't quote me on that haha. Their margaritas are also really good and definitely on the stronger side, so they were a great way to start the meal. The staff here was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the night. They even walked us to our table and later showed me where the bathroom was, which I thought was a really nice touch. As for the food, it definitely lives up to the hype. It's on the pricier side, but everything tasted incredibly fresh and was well worth it. We ordered the enchiladas, which were delicious, and the shrimp was probably my favorite part of the meal because it was so fresh and perfectly cooked. I can definitely see why this restaurant has been around for so long and has such a loyal following. It took me way too long to finally come here, but I'll definitely be back. One thing I'm noticing as we do these is that you often write reviews that are genuinely useful--not just "food good/bad." You include things like reservations, parking, what to order, or where to sit. I think we should keep leaning into that because it feels very authentic to your style and makes your reviews stand out.
