Delicious, generous amount of meat in each taco! Then consumé was seasoned just perfectly where it was not overly salty. It soaked the taco just right where everything was still so juicy! With every part of my being, I absolutely recommend this spot! Okay, I ordered once on uber eats before and it was good, so I obviously had to go visit this place in-person! I have to say, I been in Austin 2 years, and I been on the hunt for the perfect Mexican food here. No place has done it for me, until I found Birrieria Mama Rosa. As a Mexican I certify this place, authentic and the best I have had in Austin. Their prices are also great, but before I get ahead of myself let's actually talk about what I ordered. Not pictured: Quesabirria special. The consome, was amazing. I don't know who's working magic back there, but they know what they are doing in the kitchen! Quesabirria burrito: Can we talk about what they have going in here with their verde and Roja salsa paired.they loaded and filled this burrito and I was loving every bite. Quesabirria fries: These were a game changer for me. Look as a Mexican, I love nothing more than some bomb asada fries, but let's just say these have changed my taste buds because they got taken to a new level. The fries perfectly crisp, also loaded with birria, and that sriracha mayo is delicious. Also, to mention again, I do not know what salsa/sauces they are giving but they are soooo goood. Overall, this is my new spot for me and I hope this small truck lives on. If you're ever looking for it, it's kind of hidden, but don't let that stop you. I need more of you to be trying this place. I was trying to figure out what I wanted for dinner last night and saw Birria ramen and knew I had to go. My bf and I went around 9:00 pm and waited about 15 minutes for our order. The food was delectable! I was actually heading to home slice when I saw the trailer from the corner of my eye. The service was great and quick. (Spanish speaking establishment! They also speak decent English but I'm promoting diversity. Don't be afraid to practice a different language) It's small space next to a gas station, so not the best to sit & eat. We tried most of their different items and we probably didn't need to as they are for the most part variations of the birria - which was fantastic! The mini green and red sauces were very spicy! I would like to get a cup of the birria with meat. The meat was so tender and had good pieces (no large pieces of fat or gristle). Nothing was too oily but everything was soft and very flavorful. The birria ramen was our least favorite. The loaded queso and the birria itself was our favorite. read more

Everything was flavorful and finger-licking good! Seems like the menu had some other birria themed items, but if you're looking for a solid birria taco option this place has you covered! Few things in this world make me as happy as birria tacos. I used to work very close to Mama Rosa, they were so good I had to venture out to their new location when the birria hungers hit. Atmosphere: Food truck service. Can't miss it, it's pink. So atmosphere may vary depending on where they are parked for the day. Food: The birria here is spectacular and their choices of what kind are exactly what any taco and cheese lover wants. You'll find the usual selection found around Austin, that being the tacos, a pizza, quesadilla, and sometimes ramen. I can happily say I've tried all of them, with the pizza being my favorite. Something about the cheese with their mix of consomé is just pure bliss. Service: Friendly service. Food truck style service so no real interaction but every time I've gone they're nice. Easily would return especially since they service mostly the North Austin area. If you ever need a birria taco fix, come on over. read more

First thing I have to say is bless the hands who prepared my plate today. The birrieria tacos were incredible, packed with a load of meat and cheese, and very fresh ingredients. Favorite thing was the consomé, they didn't hesitate on the portions and was extremely flavorful, enhanced every bite!!!! P.S Be careful when trying to park, there is a steep hill going into the parking lot. Definitely caught me and my car off guard lol Recommend any day especially if you want to sleep good read more

A pink trailer tucked in the back of convenience store parking lot off of North Loop and Avenue F, is where you'll find some great birria tacos. I've been hearing many a good review of Birrieria Mama Rosa, so I decided to stop in. I had the birria tacos at few places, and every place has their own way to cook. Everyone does have added at no charge, cilantro, onions, consume of some type, and sauces available. Some consumes are a little more greasy than others and some have more meat than others. The ones here were stuffed with more meat than at other places I've been too. The flavor of each place is different, but that makes each of the unique. I'll be sure to be back for another round. I did stop to pick up a Big Red to go along with it. read more

I didn't have much liquid in my ramen BUT it could be because I got my order to go and I had to drive 6 mins back to where I was staying. There was too much grease in the ramen (imo). This food truck has some authentic birria tacos! I used to only go to Gabriela's for their birria but I'm going to start coming here. The food was authentic. The tacos were stuffed with food. The meat was so clean and lean. The consome was so delicious. It's located next to a gas station but it has a great authentic vibe with string lights and colorful seating. Today I stopped by this pink food truck in Pflugerville on my way home from work. It's parked at a gas station a little ways down the street from Windermere Elementary. I ordered 2 Quesabirria Specials for $13.99 each. Came out to $30 and some change. I sat in my car while my order was made. They brought it to me within ten minutes and I was on my way. The consommé is fantastic! The best I've had thus far. Better than my own I must sadly admit. I don't usually care for consommé with my birria tacos. But this consommé? Oh I drank the whole cup after finishing my food. There was a good amount of meat and cheese in these tacos. They were very well sized. I will say I wouldn't care for them without the consommé. The meat was tender but not super seasoned. My guess is they meant to do that by how seasoned the consommé was. The green salsa it came with packed a hell of a punch. Too much for me but I didn't need it for these tacos. Overall 10/10! read more

Birrieria Mama Rosa #1 in Austin was recommended to me by a friend who loves quesabirria, so I had to give it a try. The quesabirria was pretty solid and delicious.
