Wow tasty grilled chicken burrito!! I will have to go back and try their pizza quesadilla!! Love the green sauce and the orangy red sauce is HOT!! Whew!! The lady is so nice and it's a cute pink food truck!!

Delicious, generous amount of meat in each taco! Then consumé was seasoned just perfectly where it was not overly salty. It soaked the taco just right where everything was still so juicy! Would come back in the future!! Check them out, pink food truck next to gas station and the corner store. Few seats outdoors.

With every part of my being, I absolutely recommend this spot! Okay, I ordered once on uber eats before and it was good, so I obviously had to go visit this place in-person! I have to say, I been in Austin 2 years, and I been on the hunt for the perfect Mexican food here. No place has done it for me, until I found Birrieria Mama Rosa. As a Mexican I certify this place, authentic and the best I have had in Austin. Their prices are also great, but before I get ahead of myself let's actually talk about what I ordered. Not pictured: Quesabirria special. The consome, was amazing. I don't know who's working magic back there, but they know what they are doing in the kitchen! Quesabirria burrito: Can we talk about what they have going in here with their verde and Roja salsa paired.they loaded and filled this burrito and I was loving every bite. Quesabirria fries: These were a game changer for me. Look as a Mexican, I love nothing more than some bomb asada fries, but let's just say these have changed my taste buds because they got taken to a new level. The fries perfectly crisp, also loaded with birria, and that sriracha mayo is delicious. Also, to mention again, I do not know what salsa/sauces they are giving but they are soooo goood. Overall, this is my new spot for me and I hope this small truck lives on. If you're ever looking for it, it's kind of hidden, but don't let that stop you. I need more of you to be trying this place. I will be back for that pizza Quesabirria!

The food was delectable! I was actually heading to home slice when I saw the trailer from the corner of my eye. The service was great and quick. (Spanish speaking establishment! They also speak decent English but I'm promoting diversity. Don't be afraid to practice a different language) It's small space next to a gas station, so not the best to sit & eat. Overall I am pleased with my spontaneous pick. ANIMO!

Best birria spot in Austin. The food is delicious and the service is quick. Very authentic and flavorful

We tried most of their different items and we probably didn't need to as they are for the most part variations of the birria - which was fantastic! The mini green and red sauces were very spicy! I would like to get a cup of the birria with meat. The meat was so tender and had good pieces (no large pieces of fat or gristle). Nothing was too oily but everything was soft and very flavorful. The birria ramen was our least favorite. The loaded queso and the birria itself was our favorite.

Ordered this over Uber eats and honestly, it was really good. This is the best burrito. I've tasted while I've been out here and I've been trying different places. I miss la food so much.

Fast service and the food was delicious! The parking is a little wonky but it definitely worth it!

First thing I have to say is bless the hands who prepared my plate today. The birrieria tacos were incredible, packed with a load of meat and cheese, and very fresh ingredients. Favorite thing was the consomé, they didn't hesitate on the portions and was extremely flavorful, enhanced every bite!!!! P.S Be careful when trying to park, there is a steep hill going into the parking lot. Definitely caught me and my car off guard lol Recommend any day especially if you want to sleep good

Quesabirria - this is where it's at. Great quesabirria, the melted mozzarella cheese really takes the birria to a new level! Everything about this was great, I loved dipping it in the birria sauce. Burrito - solid burrito, well wrapped. I still prefer other options here and still have my favorite burrito spot as Burrito Factory.

Quesiberria taco and taco gobernardo is delicious!

Great food! Want to go back just hate the downtown traffic. Service was quick. And it's a cute little vibe outside since it's a food truck.

She noticed I was ordering dairy items on side and asked about if pesto in guacamole was ok. So astute and kind of her. Also on my friends second drink remembered she didn't want salt or her rim without even asking - Everything tasted so fresh and high quality - Brisket tacos: packed with flavor--maybe it was the wagyu meat or the black magic oil. Freshly made corn tortillas were awesome. Usually corn ones and pretty throwaway meh, but these added to the greatness of the tacos. 5 stars - Duck flautas: crispy covered in mild mole. Loved the mashed potato addition inside for some mellowness and texture. 5 stars - Guacamole: so fresh and that dollop of pesto on top was lovely. Served with crispy masa dippers were impressive almost a 8x11 page size. It was fun to crack off into pieces, but hard to stop eating it. 5 stars - Sweet potato: friend loved these long charred wedges. 4.5 stars - Cocktails were stellar. I got the Don Dario which was a play on a marg and delightful - $12 of a few drinks during lucky hour (Mon-Fri 5-6pm, Sat-Sun 3-5pm) - High energy vibes in a clean, open, tan colored space - Had their bottle water on the table in a champagne bottle which speaks to my heart Midlights: - In East Austin so have to Uber if you are staying more central - Tacos come in orders of 4. Wish it was less so we could've tried more variety. Lowlights - No food discounts for lucky hour - Didn't have time to try the choco taco which looked amaze - Large gap of time between items first few items coming out and the rest

The authentic Mexican cuisine is consistently on point, both in flavor and presentation, making it a reliable choice when you want to impress. The traditional margaritas with Tajín are a standout and easily a favorite among my group every time--refreshing with just the right kick. My coworkers explored a variety of menu options, and every dish received rave reviews: the Carne Asada entrée, Ribeye tacos, Enchiladas Suizas, Chicken Mole Poblano, and Carnitas tacos--all executed beautifully and packed with authentic taste. And of course, the Guacamole and Queso Fundido remains one of my personal favorites--fresh, flavorful, and always a must-order for the table. Between the consistently great food, crowd-pleasing drinks, and overall experience, I'll definitely be back again soon. La Popular never disappoints!

I ordered the brunch cachetada and wasn't thrilled. The suiza chicken and runny eggs diluted the flavor and made the cheese crust on the tortilla soggy. I had to add a lot of hot sauce. It needed more texture and flavor. Overall a boring dish. I would definitely return and order something else, however.

Arriba Abajo as you walked in just gave me all the vibes of a happening place when you want to hang out with friends and have a great time. We ordered the braised ribs rolled tacos for appetizers. It was so fresh and kicking' with all kinds of flavors. I wish I had ordered another one. The avocado sauce layered on the bottom was just enough to keep wanting more. For lunch I ordered the Carneasada Fajitas with chimichurri and my husband ordered the Carneasada Taqueria. With my fajitas came a side of frijoles, green rice & flour tortillas. Corn flour was the other option. Both meals came in pipin' hot & the smell coming from both was very aromatic, zesty & spice. Amazing taste, flavors, just the right amount of marinade on the Carneasada with a hint of lime. It was so delicious while enjoying the ambiance. Bith were really good and I liked their unique take on queso (Ive never seen anyone add chimichurri to it before). The bartender was very attentive and informative about any questions we had. One of the main appeals of Arriba is the outdoor rooftop so Ill have to come back to fully enjoy it!

I've only been once and it's definitely not gonna be the last time. In fact, we've got an upcoming reservation that's been on the books for quite sometime. They've managed to remain delicious, relevant and in demand 50 years! That's saying something. I'll tell you what that says...it says they rule! Reservations can be tricky to get but oh so worth it. The bar & atrium are fantastic and they boast a generous happy hour. The restaurant area and entire space are decorated wonderfully. Amazing artwork adorns the walls, they've got extensive art all about, vaulted ceilings and more. It's kind of like being in a hacienda. It feels like you're in Mexico. Truly. The restaurant and food are upscale without being pretentious. How refreshing! Speaking of refreshing...they've got cocktails and mocktails that will knock your socks off. I'm a big fan of the Nojito. My boyfriend loves the Mexican martini (it's primo). Let's talk about food. Wow-wee is it everything and then some. This is the kind of Tex-Mex flavor that sends your tastebuds into a tailspin of goodness! On our visit we did a salsa flight (we did 3 salsas), the queso (melted muenster and Oaxacan), Wagyu beef tacos, and chicken verde enchiladas. We did a spread like that in order to share everything. Food so good I'd give ten stars if I could. I can't put my finger on it but there's just something so special about the food, the taste of it, and the quality. It's just incredible flavor explosion bite after bite. If I had to guess, I'd say the food has been made with love, skill, and attention to detail all these years. Hence, their amazing reputation.
