10/10 breakfast burrito and salsas!! Tiny little area you can order inside and food came out super quick. The tortilla was perfection and they lightly grill the outside of the burrito. All of the ingredients were portioned perfectly, not too much or little of anything. Not too much egg which I liked. The pico was fresh. It's a pretty good sized burrito and was less than $10 even after tip. Everything else looked great too, so would love to come back and try other things. Good food! The ladies were really nice and the service was fast. There's a lot to choose from on the menu which is nice. My only complaint is that the only seating is outside but it is covered and has fans, and the place doesn't sell drinks you have to buy them from next door at the convenience store. Went here on a whim and oh my gosh, it's so delicious! An actual proper taco shop with decent prices. The inside is very small but they do have a shaded patio to eat outside at. The employees were very nice. read more

Food was alright the menudo did not have hominy but the El pastor tacos were delicious ! The green salsa they provide was amazing especially on their home made tortillas. Service was okay somewhat friendly ish can be a little rude as in the sense of rushing you to get you in and out, but overall very friendly. Ordered their Queso Berria and Barbacoa torta. Their consume has cinnamon and so if you don't like it i wouldn't suggest getting it. It wasn't bad it's just unique flavor that I never had before in a consume. Their Berria tacos were okay. It was missing some cut up radish on the side. Their torta was 4 out of 5. I had high hopes based on the tacos looked, but they were good, not great. Did three breakfast tacos. Steak, bacon, and chorizo, all with egg on flour tortillas. First thing is that they are really cheap. About $2 per. The tortillas are always the key and these are just OK. Felt a little rubbery, although they are warmed up before serving. Not bad but any means, but just not great. Fillings are good for the money. More eggs would probably help the tortilla issue since you'd have a little more to counter balance there. Three and a half stars. Upgraded for friendly staff. read more

Nonos? I was saying YESYES after stopping here. The Austin reviews continue from my January 16 weekend trip. It's Sunday morning as we're heading to some random morning bar for the Tottenhem Spurs game. So you know what to do for breakfast when in Austin! We were a bit skeptical after pulling in here with the broken payphone and homeless people loitering around. When we stepped inside, we knew we were getting dope breakfast tacos based on the smell of grease and eggs and the sizzle coming from the kitchen. I went with the chorizo and a sausage breakfast taco and dug into them when they were brought out. Some of the best breakfast tacos I've had in Texas with the fluffy flour tortilla, hotness of the eggs and meat, and the shredded mexican cheese for texture. The place is a small shacky area next to the convenience store with seating outside. Or you can get them to go which is what most people did. Other meixcan eats including sopes, burritos, enchiladas, and burgers can be bought here too. But you always come for the tacos. ALWAYS! read more

We got some good breakfast tacos here for less than $2 each. I see why this place is so highly rated. I chose two with egg and potato and one with egg and sausage. The salsas they came with were good. We (three girls) sat and ate at one of the two shoddy picnic tables outside. Love Nono's tacos! They have amazing food for a good price which can be hard nowadays. Their breakfast burrito is huge and can usually get 2 meals out of it. The green salsa is perfect and offers a great spicy element to the dishes. I have also had their carne asada, al pastor, and birria tacos which always hit the spot. Found this little hole in the wall, while doing a tacos near me search. The first place we went to was closed which I'm so happy it was otherwise would of never found this little gem. The area is a bit sketchy but don't let it detour you. My hubby ordered the el pastor and also chicken fajita (not pictured). and I quote "This is the best El Pastor taco I have ever had.". I had the Migas and a chicken fajita. I was happy that they serve breakfast tacos all day. The red and green sauce were both very flavorful. I live a block from this awesome place, and go every week at least, sometimes every day of most weeks. The people that work there are all the same as when it started, and of course they know exactly what I want, know my name, and recognize my voice. Their quality is always high and consistent. I get pico de gallo from there several times a week because it's always super fresh. I've been here a couple times previously after searching Yelp for a taco joint in the area. The little establishment is right next to a convenience store. It's really just a small place where your order and take-out although they have bar-style seating inside for like 5 or so people and they also have a couple benches outside. I like to call in my order so it's ready for me to pay, pick-up and leave. As you can see from the menu I attached they are pretty reasonably priced and offer daily specials as well. The other day I was craving tacos so I called in an order of 2 ala carte crispy ground beef tacos. They also have a crispy taco plate which comes with rice and beans which would've probably been just a tad bit more but I wasn't feeling too hungry. The tacos were great. Part of the neighborhood, nonos tacos is basically a hole in the wall with the menu and the ordering counter. Put in the order, walk outside and wait. There's two picnic tables if you want to eat there. Menu is straightforward and simple but that simplicity means perfect execution is needed. For breakfast I tried a chorizo and egg on flour and an al pastor on flour and am happy to say the flour tortillas have perfect pliancy, chew and cooked hot. All the food comes out piping hot and fresh. Chorizo and egg have good amount of fat and spices from the chorizo and pairs perfectly with the green salsa they got for the heat to cut through. The al pastor for my money is the best I've had in Austin, with some good char and crisp to them, pairs well with the smoky red salsa. Overall, some of the best tacos I've had in Austin and they are priced right. Quick service, good prices and awesome tacos. It's the holy trinity of tacodom and I will for sure be back as often as I'm in the area. read more

I eat here probably 3-4 times a week and I can confidently say they have the best burrito in town. You really can't go wrong with any of the meat choices but their pastor and asada are unmatched.
